I wish that I could reccomend Wendee of Lucie's events, but I cannot do so based on my experience as a bride. We had multiple challenges with Wendee throughout the process in regards to prompt and organized communication. It took multiple attempts and emails to get simple responses - often inquiries were overlooked and not responded to with any amount of detail. Emails were somehow "misplaced" and overall the level of communication was not as promised.
While Wendee had a great deal of creative ideas and interesting touches that she wanted to add to our event, there was extremely poor execution on her end when it came to the day of the wedding. As I bride, I didn't even see her for the first time until I walked upstairs with my dad, ready to walk down the aisle. The next time I saw her was at the end of the evening as we were leaving the venue. We were not sure where she was during the events of the evening - our toasts started without us in the room, we did not have champange glasses in our hands until the second round of toasts, we were given no direction on cutting the cake, tossing the bouquet, etc. - all the details we wanted to see run smoothly and the reason we hired her. In all honestly, I'm not sure if she was even present the entire evening and I'm really not sure what she was doing other than packing up some of our decor at the end of the night. Without some wonderful friends, my event would not have been set up the way that we had walked through MULTIPLE times and was extremely organized and detailed in preparation for wedding day. We could not have been more organized for her with labeling, multiple detailed floorplans, etc. I'm not sure if she took on too much or just wasn't present to do her job - but we were extremely disapointed with the way the evening was left to run without her coordination. At times we weren't even sure if she was on site as no one could find her.
Unfortunately this is not a day that you can "re-do". I wish that I would have made a very different choice when choosing my wedding coordinator.
