Our photographer and his wife recommended LCQ to us and Chef Jolie did not disappoint! There were so many great options, it was so hard to choose. Appetizers were amazing, entrees were fantastic, sides were out of this world. Everyone kept coming up to us and telling us how much they loved the food. A week later, our mouths are still watering thinking about it! The service was great too, everyone was really sweet.

We scheduled tastings with several vendors, but knew right away that we’d choose Low Country Quisine after our first bite. Jolie had a table set for us and explained each of the food options we tasted. Every one was mouth watering!
She sat down with us after to get our feedback and together we wrote a proposal. There were plenty of menu choices and packages to choose from. Having the ability to do the rental package and staffing through them gave us peace of mind that it would be done right. Of course Colvin-19 created some changes in rentals and serving, but Jolie and her staff didn’t disappoint us. So many people raves about the food, especially the shrimp and grits and savory pot roast! The jalapeño cornbread and Georgia peach tea were also a bit hit with our guests.

Low Country Quisine was definitely one of my favorite wedding vendors! At FCBC we had 4 different companies to choose from and went with LCQ even before tasting because their menu options were easy to understand and customize and Jolie was super-responsive when it came to putting together quotes and making adjustments based on our budget. Having delicious food was one of our priorities and LCQ did not disappoint. We did buffet style, serving beef & chicken fajitas with fish tacos, fiesta rice and grilled veggies. My only disappointment was that my wedding planner made my plate for me, as I would have definitely served myself a little more! Another thing of note, the staff was absolutely amazing. My parents even commented that they were so friendly and quickly took care of anything asked of them. Jolie herself ended up running point on the day of our wedding and I could not have been more pleased with how smoothly everything ran. I barely even noticed the staff as they worked so efficiently and cleared the tables so quickly after people were finished eating. Food was hot and delicious. Bartenders provided did have a bit of a heavy hand I heard! The specialty cocktails they created helped move the line quickly and I barely ever saw even a tiny line at the bar. Highly recommend Low Country Quisine and their staff for any event!

If there was a way to give a million stars I would! Jolie and team served up the best wedding food I have ever had -- and no I'm not being biased because it was my wedding! Everyone was raving about the food and the service - especially the mac and cheese which is a must have. There was one minor hiccup with an appetizer, which was not even an issue since I was the only one that knew, but Jolie sent her team back and we were able to have it as a late night bite even though I told her it wasn't necessary. It's that level of going above and beyond for your client that I greatly appreciate. If ever I throw an event in Dallas again, there is no one else I would call.

PS, if you're willing to give up the mac and cheese recipe, it'll be our little secret!

Jolie and her team are warm, professional, and just all around amazing. From a quick tasting appointment change made for me (my son forgot to tell me about an event he had scheduled) to the delicious food prepared for our tasting. They have all inclusive packages and enough selections for your menu to really offer a little of everything. On top of all of that they just made sure we had a great time. They were our first tasting and because of the value, quality, and kindness, will be our last. I can hardly wait for our wedding. I’m sure our guests will love everything about their dining experience.

Everything was amazing! The food was fantastic! We had several compliments from our guests on your pimento cheese appetizer, the macaroni and cheese and they loved having different sauce options for the chicken! Your team was incredible. My husband and I were frantically running around and they always made sure we had some sort of drink in our hands whether it was water or beer! It was so nice to have someone take care of us like that. Your staff also did an excellent job with being on time, they were very professional, and cleaned up quickly. We are so grateful for the hard work you all put in for our perfect day!

It gives me great pleasure to leave a raving review for Chef Jolie and Low Country Quisine! Let me start by saying - I can be very particular about what I want and don't want - let's be honest; I can be downright anal with my high expectations and I had HIGH expectations regarding the food at our big day!

Food: Chef Jolie went over and beyond in capturing our vision of a Nigerian / Soul Food menu and came through with pom poms a waving. Mouth watering melt in your mouth food! Specialty dishes that were vegan and gluten free AND the highlight - she took my Aunts recipe over the phone and recreated amazing jollof rice! #YES

Business: Very professional business. Communication is key and Low Country Quisine does an excellent job of making sure you fully understand your options (based on your vision), as well as cost. No surprises; just impeccable service.

Jolie and her team are wonderful. So friendly and easy to deal with. They are caterers by trade but friends at heart. They never forget the people that they are catering to. They make you feel like family and add extra touches to make you feel special. The food is off the charts amazing! Once we finished our taste testing we called and cancelled all of our other tastings. NOTHING can beat Low Country Quisine. The food is hot, tasty and cooked with love. Having them bring their oven to the venue to cook is that extra ingredient that makes the food taste fresh from the oven. No soggy, tasteless, bland food here! Low Country is a class act and they have the best staff and food to prove it!

From day 1 with our private tasting to the amazing food on our wedding day, Jolie and her team did everything they could to make sure our day was special and exactly how we wanted it! The food was so good and our guests couldn't get enough! They even provided a single vegetarian meal for one of our family members. I was a little worried doing dinner buffet style since we were on a time line but everyone was able to get their food fast and have time to enjoy it. My only complaint would be we had specifically asked if the bartenders would have a tip jar at the bar and we were told no. They ended up having one out at our wedding, but took it down as soon as our day of coordinator brought it to their attention. I would definitely use Low Country Quisine again!

Chef Jolie and her staff are the best! It was important to us that our wedding showcased great food since we are such foodies and she didn't disappoint. Our guests are still talking about her pecan crusted chicken and mac and cheese.
