Love Roams is a wedding videography business based in Honolulu, Hawaii. If you’re looking for gorgeous destination wedding films that capture the essence of your romantic event, Love Roams is the videographer for you. Owner and videographer Caleb Backus is originally from Tennessee and has been working with photography since he was 17 years old. Since then, he’s honed his skills behind the camera, now known for cinematic videos that take people’s breath away.

Services Offered

From the rehearsal dinner and pre-ceremony events to the ceremony and reception, we can ensure that every moment is captured. You’ll have the option to include multiple cameras and locations, as well as drone footage and additional hours of shooting. Raw footage allows you and your partner to add your personal touch with client revisions. The highlight video can showcase all of your most romantic and memorable moments during the big day. The finished video will arrive in high definition by digital download or USB: a memory to be rewatched and cherished for many years to come.

Caleb was the best investment we made for our entire wedding

When we received our video back from Caleb we spent the better half of the last 24 hours watching, sharing, and trying to find the appropriate words, to sum up just how special he made this for us… And we are still pretty speechless! Caleb was the best investment we made for our entire wedding experience. Working with him was honestly a dream — we truly felt he was the best videographer ever! Don't hesitate, hire him :)

Caleb will exceed your expectations!

My husband and I were married on Kauai in April 2022. We looked at a dozen videographers on Kauai and could not find one we liked so we started looking at other islands. We found Caleb on Oahu and knew right away that he was the videographer we wanted to capture our day so we decided to fly him over to Kauai. Caleb was quick to respond to all of my emails, he asked thoughtful questions to be sure he captured our day how we wanted and he was so much fun to hang out with on our day. The videos he captured exceeded our expectations and everyone who has watched it has been stunned by how he used his artistic expression. I would 100% choose Caleb all over again to capture our day. You will not regret working with him!

Great job!

Caleb did an amazing job on our elopement video capturing all the special moments and made it look so magical. He was super chill but professional and knew exactly what shots he wanted. The final video was beautifully crafted and exactly what we wanted. Very grateful for his patience and guidance as the two of us are not used to being in front of the camera! Highly recommend.

Couldn’t have asked for better

Caleb from Love Roams was absolutely amazing. The finished product was delivered timely and better than I could have expected. He captured the day perfectly. My husband and I are not naturals in front of a camera and he made it so easy. He did an incredible job letting us enjoy the day and capturing the intimate moments versus it feeling like a staged shoot. I loved working with him!

Such an amazing experience to work with Caleb!

We loved working with Caleb so much!! We weren’t sure if we wanted a videographer for our elopement, but we are SO happy that we decided to work with him. We have the most beautiful video that captured our special day that we can now show friends, family, and always cherish forever. The video was so beautifully made, and I can’t even begin to explain how much we loved it! We didn’t know if we wanted a videographer because we didn’t want it to take away from the moment and didn’t want to feel posed; however, caleb made it so fun and natural, and we laughed so much with him. He was so friendly and easy to talk to. We didn’t even realize we were being recorded at times. It was also a very windy day, and caleb went above and beyond to capture the footage and even took out his drone (which was very risky with the wind). I would reccomend him to anyone! So grateful we decided to work with him! You won’t regret it!!

Fun vibes & a treasured video

We are beyond grateful to have a video of our wedding day! We were on the fence with getting a video due to our budget, but, hindsight it was such a priceless decision.
From the start to the end, Love Roams was extremely responsive, flexible, and understanding.
They are so fun and charming, which is such an added bonus as it added to our vibe to keep us energetic and pumped throughout our wedding.
We will appreciate our wedding video for years to come and so happy it was captured for us to relive and remember.

Our wedding video is our fav part!!!!!!

Working with Caleb on our big day was such a pleasure from start to finish. He was fun, creative, comfortable, & professional. He came recommended to us by our wedding coordinator, Kalinda, and thank God we went with him for our wedding video! I have a tendency to be awkward in front of the camera but Caleb's charisma and energy made it easy and fun, and we couldn't be happier with our wedding video!

Best Day Ever

When we decided to elope to Hawai'i, we knew that we wanted to hire a videographer to document our wedding day. Caleb was recommended to us by our photographer, and he couldn't have been a better fit for us. Caleb was responsive and helpful during the planning phase of our elopement and was on time and flexible during the day of our ceremony! We are the most awkward couple when it comes to posing for photographs and film, but Caleb made every experience fun and made us look like pros! He also worked smoothly with our photographer to ensure they both got amazing shots of us--definitely did not step on each other's toes or get in each other's way. We had our final video within weeks of our elopement and much sooner than we expected. It exceeds expectations. We tear up after watching it still! We cannot recommend Caleb enough if you are searching for a relaxed, skilled videographer to capture your wedding day, and we would certainly hire him again if we needed someone! We've rewatched our wedding film so many times!

Caleb and his team were so wonderful to work with! Before the wedding, we got to virtually chat with him to share a little about us and our vision for the wedding. One the day of the wedding, they worked professionally with our photographer to capture every moment. We are SO pleased with how our wedding film came out and will be enjoying it for years to come!!!

Overall a great experience!

I am SO happy I found Caleb to photograph our wedding! He was always very prompt with responses and made our vision come to life. Him and the assistant he brought to the wedding we’re such a great addition to our wedding. Not only did they do a great job with our video but they tore up the dance floor!! I always hate when you go to weddings and the photographers/videographers just awkwardly stand there. I cannot express how much I recommend Caleb and his company. I wish I could get married all over again just to go through the experience all over again!!!
