Melissa was absolutely wonderful! She’s very personable, kind, and great to work with. Response time was very quick also! Aside from being just genuinely nice, she also does beautiful work. My wedding pictures came out beautifully!

We loved working with Melissa for both our engagement pictures and wedding day. She is a lot of fun to work with and does a great job of making you feel comfortable and relaxed while being photographed. She was also very responsive from the first time I reached out to her, through to the days leading up to our wedding. She was a great resource for my questions about our wedding photography and also the wedding day timeline. She was also really invested in getting the photos that I had requested (even when we bought defective sparklers and were having a heck of a time getting them to stay lit... she was not about to give up until we exhausted every option to get the pictures I was hoping for!). She really was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

My husband and I love our wedding photos from Melissa (Love in Life Photography)! When we started searching for a wedding photographer, we wanted to find not only someone who offered great value, but who took pictures where people looked like themselves (versus uncomfortable and over the top staged). From her website, we thought Melissa might be a good fit for us and after meeting her, we knew for sure. She is easy going while still being professional and capitalizing on great shots (we got lucky that our wedding ended right before sundown and she got some lovely shots of us outside). Of course at our wedding we did family portrait pictures as well as some posed ones; however, we also have lots of great shots where people look wonderful just being themselves--thanks to Melissa capturing those moments in a way that allowed people to feel comfortable. After our wedding, Melissa sent us a small preview of some of the shots pretty quickly, which was nice because then we had some shots to share while we waited for the rest. My husband and I feel like we really found a gem when we came across Love in Life photography on Wedding Wire and we absolutely recommend her (we also did a pre-wedding engagement shoot with Melissa that was totally worth it)!!

My fiance and I aren't really the most comfortable people in front of the camera, but Melissa helped to put us at ease through the process and produced some of the most beautiful engagement/wedding photos I've ever seen! She captured every moment so perfectly, from the sentiment of our ceremony, the sweet moments in between, and the high energy of our reception. Melissa is also just an awesome person to work with, and she's always available to talk through the process and hear different ideas either by e-mail, text or even in person meetings. I would HIGHLY recommend using her services for any of your professional photography needs - you will not be sorry you did.

Melissa could not have made the whole process any easier. From the engagement pictures, to the large family portraits, intimate shots and candids she made the whole day great. From the begining she was extremely responsive to email and so thoughtful in the questions she asked us. After the our formal shots her and John did an excellent job fading into the background and catching all the action. She was so patient with me through the day when my thoughts were all over the place and flexible in changing the pictures I was looking for and the locations. We will definitely use her again for any event we need a photographer for and I recommend her highly. Amazing job!

Melissa was just fabulous. She was professional and very very reasonably priced. My only thing is, she is not pushy (which is good and bad) I would have liked her to tell us more what to do or I wish I would have had some more ideas for her. But then again my husband was pushing me to stop taking pictures and to start partying, so it could have totally been us. Be we loved her and her work!!

Melissa did an AMAZING job with our wedding pictures! She was able to capture moments during my wedding ceremony and reception that I simply LOVE! she was very easy to work with and was very understandable and patient with me, especially the day of my wedding. She took her time to listen to what I wanted and also offered suggestions as to what might look better. I highly recommend her services to anyone. The quality of her pictures are amazing!

Melissa is absolutely amazing!!! My husband and I llive in Dallas, Texas and had a destination wedding in gorgeous Puerto Rico with about 25 guests. I met Melissa the day of the wedding but we spoke on the phone and through email a few weeks before the wedding and I am so glad we found her!!! I told her she didn't have to stay for the entire wedding (since she was doing an after session with us the next day) but she insisted on capturing every single moment. She was not only on time but early BOTH days and very professional. Our photos turned out absolutely AMAZING!! The lighting, everything was fantastic - this woman knows what she is doing! She was great, very sweet and made us feel comfortable which made the photos come out so natural and fun. Our friends and family were very pleased everyone I know said that our pictures should be in magazines they were phenomenal and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
