Reviews of LOHO Bride

*This review is for the Los Angeles location*

I had been to 2 bridal salons (one small LA boutique) and BHLDN when I spent an evening Googling Every. Single. Bridal. Boutique in Los Angeles and landed on LOHO Bride. Ultimately what drew me to LOHO Bride was Cortana. No one else carried her line and I was obsessed with the natural fabrics and delicate nature of her deisgns. Perfect, in my mind, for the Palm Springs wedding we were going to have.
So I made a fitting appointment online and brought one friend with me. (I learned after a the first few appointments that you really need to limit and choose wisely who comes with you the first time, which is unfortunate for people coming in out of town and bring their whole family, but obviously this amplifies any disappointment or confusion)
Allie Paz was my consultant and was amazing. I had given her a heads up, via their questionnaire, what vibe I was going for and the gowns I was interested in by Cortana. She pulled the specific ones I asked for, and gave me the option to shop the floor but when I was a bit overwhelmed she pulled some options she thought might be great. The shop alone is gorgeous, has a giant mirror located in a spacious area with beautiful window light. I ended up purchasing a Cortana gown, a head piece from Melinda Rose and a veil. When my dress arrived I took it across the street to the seamstress they recommended who did a wonderful job. I’ve already recommended several friends to check out their shop as they carry lines that are different than anywhere else in LA. Because of that, their shop obviously isn’t going to cater to every type of bride but I was so happy with my dress and that they were my final experience in dress shopping. Their shop and everything they carry is a dream!

Working with Christy at Loho Bride was a dream. She was so helpful, friendly, and made my fitting so comfortable. Loho has wedding dress options like no other store. After going to shops all over San Francisco, it was refreshing to be in a shop so unique. You truly cannot find the dresses she has anywhere else, which makes the experience so much more special. If you think all wedding dresses look the same, you are looking for something more your style, and you just aren't in love with anything at other stores -- GO TO LOHO. You will be very pleased with what you find.

Coolest Bridal Salon Out There

This is honestly one of the coolest bridal salons out there. Not only what they stand for, but the brands they carry and the associates who work there. I was obsessed with them from Instagram, and am so grateful to have worked with them to find my unique dress. Chelsea was so helpful and made my experience so seamless - even through it was all done virtually. This salon is truly in a league of its own.

Amazing experience at loho loft

Loho loft is soooo beautiful and the prices on normally expensive gowns are good (still pricey!)

Unfortunately I didn’t find the dress I wanted there but the experience was amazing and I would love to visit again :)

My wife purchased a wedding gown from LOHO bride and it was a terrible experience. She purchased a made-to-order Daughters of Simone Caterina gown and the lining was damaged upon pick-up. She immediately notified the LOHO stylist (Rebecca Brooks) who agreed to have it repaired.

So, we immediately shipped the gown to LOHO Bride’s authorized facility for repair. After shipment, we received numerous notifications from Fedex that the package was unable to be delivered since a signatory was not at the address provided. We reached out to Rebecca about this issue and received no response. Instead, we finally received confirmation from FedEx that the top was delivered 10 days later.

Afterwards, we never received an update about the status of the repairs, an estimated date of completion or any sort of proactive communications at all from LOHO Bride after the gown was with their seamstress.

We reached out several times to Rebecca in hopes of receiving a status update. Instead, our phone calls went unanswered and we were unable to leave a message due to the full voice mailbox. Our emails also received delayed and ambiguous “Let me get back to you” responses that required us to continuously follow-up.

After five weeks had already passed, we were finally informed by Rebecca that it would take yet another week to receive an “update”. At this point, our wedding was less than six weeks away. We were extremely overwhelmed with planning and the delays and lack of communication about the dress repairs only added to our stress and anxiety. The Thanksgiving holiday was right around the corner and my wife had an upcoming business trip leaving no time to find a seamstress for required fittings.

The significant delay due to the faulty lining and subpar communications we received from LOHO Bride caused us considerable inconvenience which is why we requested a full refund for the dress and asked them to keep it. Instead they offered us a 10% discount. BUYER BEWARE!!!
