Choosing Michelle as my bridal makeup artist was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day; I cannot recommend her enough!! Her pricing is incredibly fair and offers phenomenal value.

She did my makeup for my engagement photos and wedding. I do not usually wear makeup so the most important thing for me was to look and feel like myself, and Michelle achieved this perfectly. I genuinely felt so beautiful and confident. My makeup held up throughout the day and translated beautifully in photos.

Equally as important as her skills was her presence on the morning of. Michelle is so friendly and she brought such a fun and warm energy to the morning. My bridesmaids and I absolutely loved having her.

My wedding day makeup came out incredible! All of my family and bridesmaids absolutely LOVED their makeup! Michelle is truly a professional with great advice on your makeup. We had a great trial together, and I let her know how my makeup lasted throughout the day. On my wedding day, she made the adjustments and my makeup stayed perfect ALL NIGHT LONG! She really listened, which I loved.

She is very responsive with great communication. She is also super flexible which made my wedding day so easy. Her pricing is very fair for her quality of work.

Michelle is an absolute artist! I was stunned by her work at my wedding trial, and somehow was even happier on my wedding day (Estancia La Jolla, July 2018). I have been in 12 bridal parties, and can objectively say that the makeup for my bridal party was the best I’ve ever seen (my bridesmaids wholeheartedly agreed, and could not stop talking about it). I found her price point to be very reasonable given her immense talent. Cannot recommend her services enough. On top of her amazing artistry, she is also a fun person to hang out with and chat with on the big day  THANK YOU, Michelle!

Michelle was SO FUN! Both my consultation and day-of services were not only GORGEOUS and exactly what I was looking for, but Michelle was hilarious and so fun to have around while my bridesmaids and I got ready. She really fit in and made getting ready so fun and carefree. She also stayed through some of our photos and did touch-ups for me before the ceremony. She was so sweet and helpful - I could really tell that she took pride in how I felt on my special day and made it her mission to make sure I was comfortable and beautiful!

Michelle did an amazing job for our wedding!!! She did my bridal trial as well as makeup for 7 of us on the wedding day (bride, three bridesmaids, mother-of-bride / mother-of-groom and sister-in-law). I was amazed at how efficiently she was able to do all of us without rushing, and everyone looked absolutely beautiful. She was also really willing to do whatever style of makeup we wanted, and no one looked overdone. As a bonus, we all had a TON of fun getting ready with her on the day, and her pricing was really reasonable. Would definitely recommend Lipstick & Luster to anyone looking for wedding makeup!

Michelle is amazing!! She did an amazing job with the make-up for my entire wedding party!! She is so much fun (& hilarious) so she was a great addition to our getting ready party! She was even totally cool with it when I changed from 5 to 9 girls after I'd booked her.

Everyone was thrilled with their make-up! She came to my house and did my bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law & sister-in-law's make-up and everyone LOVED how they looked! She did something different for each girl that looked great with their coloring & was a little bit unique. She did a bit more neutral look for the moms (that is what they requested) & they both looked very classy. All our make-up lasted long into the night through 90 degree weather, dancing, drinking & sweating. My mother-in-law still had her lashes looking perfect at brunch the next day.

If she's available for your day - BOOK HER! You will be thrilled with the results! I went from thinking I might do my own make-up to being so grateful Michelle was there to make sure I looked fantastic in the photos. SHE IS WONDERFUL!

Let's just say that she took a break from the makeup for a minute to dance with me (the bride) to Beyonce.

We couldn't have had more fun than we did with Michelle. She made us all laugh so hard. She made every girl feel so comfortable in her own skin, listened to every suggestion or concern, and we all ended up looking gorgeous. I felt like me, but SPECIAL. My makeup was not overdone or caked on. Plus she gave me eyebrows! Dark, shapely, accentuated eyebrows!

Thanks to Michelle, my makeup didn't even come off after a dip in the pool. Even better than that - I didn't have a massive breakout in the days after. It's obvious that her products are top-notch and her application technique is the best.
