Joslynne Light is Co-Owner and Lead Sales Agent at Light Travels, LLC., where she specializes in organizing the kind of all-inclusive resort trips that make clients dream of vacation year-round. An expert organizer and passionate traveler, she’s loved exploring new and exotic locales since childhood—from family vacations and college road trips to her own wild and wonderful Vegas destination wedding. Growing up, Joslynne worked at her family’s restaurant, then attended Bryant College on a full scholarship to study Accounting.

She met and married her husband Wade in 2009, and her lifelong love of travel steadily grew into a thriving career. Joslynne’s first job in the travel industry was at a local agency, where she learned the basics before branching off as a subagent with another agency. Soon, she was brainstorming plans to start her own travel agency.

Together, Joslynne and her husband Wade now run Light Travels, LLC, where Joslynne helps clients design unique destination weddings, unforgettable honeymoons, lush tropical escapes, effortless group trips, cruises, coastal adventures, and family beach vacations in Mexico and the Caribbean. As dedicated as she is thorough, she’s a GIVC agent with Karisma Resorts and a Master Agent with AM resorts, as well as a Diamond Pinnacle Level travel agent (named in the top fifteen of over four thousand agents).

Her work has also been recognized by a wide spectrum of travel organizations: She was named the Vacation Agent of the Year by GOGO in 2015, 2021, and 2022, and the East Region Agent of the Year in both 2021 and 2022.

Maine native Wade Light is a driven, hardworking army vet, a loving husband and father, and a savvy businessman with a background in real estate investment. An honors graduate of Ashworth College’s Travel Agent program, he’s also a Certified Travel Associate with a Travel Agency Proficiency certificate, a member of the National Small Business Association leadership council, and Vice President of the Maine Chapter of the American Society of Travel Advisors.

An adventurous spirit, Wade grew up exploring the great outdoors. He enlisted in the army after high school, where he remained on active duty, National Guard, and Individual Ready Reserve for the next fifteen years, including two combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. Next, he attended Allied Business School, where he learned the ropes of real estate investment, then earned an associates degree in Applied Science from the New England Institute of Technology.

In 2013, he founded Wade Light Investments LLC, buying and renovating properties throughout Connecticut. He later owned Nadryl Enterprises LLC, a federal contracting and procurement company, and served as co-owner of Charity Realty International LLC, through which he donated 25% of each sale commission to the charity of his client’s choice.

In 2020, Wade founded Light Travels LLC with his wife, Joslynne, fueled by their shared desire to explore the world. As the company’s Owner and Office Manager, he brings the spirit of healthy competition to the business. He approaches his work with ambition and attention to detail, always willing to go above and beyond to help clients find the best pricing to transform their travel dreams into reality.

He also manages the philanthropic side of Light Travels, donating gift certificate sand merchandise to local charity fundraisers, Wounded Warriors, and the Make A Wish Foundation.

Brittany Parker is a talented agent on a mission to help clients find joy through travel. A happily married mother of three, she specializes in designing effortless European vacations, exotic tours abroad, and relaxing cruises to the Caribbean and Mexico. She’s an analytical thinker with a heart for serving others, using her knowledge and experience to tackle any challenges that arise with a positive, proactive mindset. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Brittany earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Lock Haven University in 2003 and started her career in the surgical unit at a local hospital.

In 2005, she relocated to Maine and decided to explore a new path: Interested in logistics and supply chains, she joined the local Walmart Distribution Center as a dry grocery receiver, where she soon began training for management positions. First promoted to supervisor, then area manager, she held a series of leadership roles as she rose in the industry: Dry Receiving Manager, Dry Shipping Manager, Dry RSR Manager, Freezer Dairy Deli Shipping Manager, and Freezer Dairy Deli Receiving Manager.

Much of her work involved overseeing the activities and ensuring the safety of hundreds of associates, communicating policy and procedural changes, and analyzing data to make results-driven management decisions. Along the way, she earned a reputation for improving performance and morale in her departments, and was repeatedly recognized as Manager of the Quarter as well as Manager of the Year. At Light Travels LLC, Brittany takes pride in delivering the absolute best outcome for each client.

She’s an effective communicator who keeps her clients informed about every step of the process. Informed by her extensive background in logistics, she’s an expert planner and problem-solver, always going out of her way to ensure each traveler a safe, smooth, and memorable experience.
