Liberty Baking Co. is a one-of-a-kind baking company that creates delicious works of art. Our bakery is woman-owned and operated by two classically trained pastry chefs, Alison Friedman and Kim Schaeffer. Taste and freshness are our top priorities, which is why we only accept a limited number of orders each week. We have perfected our Americana-inspired recipes to create decadent and unforgettable pound cakes. The rich layers and fillings are crafted with superior ingredients (aka “the good stuff”) such as brute Dutch-processed cocoa, Madagascar vanilla bean, and high-fat European butter. Each stunning cake incorporates clean buttercream designs with natural elements and artistry to provide the perfect finishing touches. We do not cover our cakes with fondant, though we occasionally necessitate its use for specific projects.

Our cakes begin at $7 per slice. Prices adjust based on flavor, design, and decorative elements. For additional servings we offer kitchen cakes, which cut and eat just like your wedding cake. They each feed up to 25 guests, and start at $5 per slice. Liberty Baking Co. can also provide you and your guests cupcakes and a full menu of dessert bar options.

Our delivery fees range anywhere from $75 to $250, depending on the location of your venue. We offer delivery across Maryland, D.C. and Virginia
