Hi there! I’m Lauren. My philosophy is to treat all my clients, like my neighbor. Including giving a cup of sugar. The same can be said during the times I photograph weddings and portrait clients. My goal is to always be there for my clients not only as a photographer but as a friend and resource.

My photography is driven by the connections & emotions I make with you. That’s why even after your wedding, couples & families come back to me and reconnect. I love it when we can catch up on life and see how much our families have grown. We get to continue your story even after your wedding day!

Remember growing up and that person behind the camera said “cheese”.? Or you head to the mall portrait studio and you are forced into a perfect position. Or being in a Bridal party standing their for what seems like hours. Yuck, so uncomfortable. Yea, we’re not going to do that.

Here’s How it Works

We’re going to focus on the real stuff – how you feel and who you are in the moment. giggles, smiles, blissful moments. I promise that you’re going to laugh in your photos. Instead of awkwardly standing there questioning your every move. I listen and observe incremental details of your day.

I use a series of prompts and movements to get you out of your comfort zone in order to be silly and enjoy the cherished time you have I’ll use my words rather than posing you. Some couples need the extra help of fixing fly-aways and placement of hands so they don’t look awkward. My direction will help you feel like we are on a fun date. This is guaranteed to get you laughing, smiling, and laughing. Words are so important and I want you to have those sweet moments together, especially when you forget I’m even there.

My favorite prompt works so well that 90% of my couples end up getting so caught up in it that they forget to stop until I remind them that I’ve gotten all the smiles and laughter that I need for their gallery.
