Hi there!

Gina Thresher CFD, AIFD is the fabulously quirky and self-proclaimed "flower junkie" that plays here at From the Ground Up Floral. With a background in biology and National accreditation in floral excellence since 2008, she's been producing stunning weddings and events one after another-- many of which have gone on to be featured on national and international blogs.

When she's not gardening, playing with her children or daydreaming about her coffee & floral brick-and-mortar she wants to open, she's attending seminars and classes to stay up to date on the latest trends and techniques to bring you the freshest floral designs!

Her studio is based in Kent, Washington, And if you're in the area, she'd absolutely love to grab some coffee and brainstorm for your upcoming event!

Amazing experience & beautiful florals

Gina was amazing to work with! She was professional and extremely helpful in creating the overall look for my wedding. She listened and delivered exactly what I envisioned. Gina was easy to communicate with and had everything completed in a timely manner. I can't imagine my wedding day florals any other way!

Gina is wonderful!

Gina did a wonderful job on the florals for my wedding. Florals weren't something that I knew a lot about or had strong opinions about, so it was very nice to be able to tell her a palette and a vibe and know she would handle the rest! The flowers were so beautiful and I'd recommend her services to anyone!

A uniquely beautiful arrangement

The one thing I knew I wanted in my wedding was Marigolds. Of course, getting married in late October meant that might be an issue. I knew I wanted something earthy, something unique, a beautiful mix of a variety of flowers. What I got was masterful. Simple, gorgeous, a feast for the eyes. I didn't work with From The Ground Up Floral directly, everything was coordinated through my wedding planners, but somehow they just got "me". Thank you, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for creating an experience that we'll never forget.
