From our very first video call with Lauren, we knew she was someone we could trust to capture one of the most important days of our lives. She immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease, and that feeling only grew when we met her in person for our engagement photos.

One thing that really stood out to us was the care and effort she puts into her work. For our engagement session, she arrived early to scout the park ahead of time and find the cherry blossoms we were hoping to include in our photos. It was such a thoughtful gesture and showed us how invested she is in creating the best experience and photos possible for her couples.

Lauren is funny, genuine, and keeps it real. Throughout the process, she helped guide us every step of the way and made being in front of the camera feel natural, especially it being our first time getting professional photos taken.

What drew us to Lauren's work in the first place was her ability to capture raw, authentic moments and emotions. Her photos never feel forced or overly posed. The couples she photographs always look so comfortable and present, and we hoped she could do the same for us. She absolutely delivered.

When we received our wedding gallery, we were blown away. Lauren captured not only how our wedding looked, but how it felt. The joy, laughter, happy tears, and all of the little in-between moments we never want to forget were documented beautifully. Looking through our photos brings us right back to the day.

Where to begin! We got engaged about six months ago, and had been planning to have a big wedding with everyone we knew, lots of food, the works...then covid hit, and we had to change plans pretty quickly. We ended up renting out a small garden with just a few friends, and setting up a Zoom for the rest. We had given up so many things with our wedding, but the one thing I knew we could not compromise on was a good wedding photographer. After viewing some of the other work Lauren had done, I knew she was the one for us, and I'm so happy I was right!

Lauren was so professional, yet at the same time very easygoing. We never felt awkward at all with her, and she can prepared with many suggestions of places to shoot, poses, and moments to capture. She even came prepared with music for us to have a first dance, which we hadn't even thought about! Lauren took so many pictures for us, and gave us many beautiful pictures (so many that we couldn't even choose our top 50! They were all so great!).

I can't say enough good things about Lauren. She was generous with her time and expertise, professional in her work and correspondence, and compassionate in her demeanor and conversation. If you're looking for an amazing photographer that'll make your impromptu (or planned) wedding day a spectacular moment that you'll never forget, look no further! 110% recommended!

I will never and can never say enough amazing things about Lauren. We are SO grateful to have found her!!! We had orginally planned to have a big NYC wedding and when covid hit- Lauren was so thoughful and there for us in every way. When we re-routed and re-panned, she was on board and so excited to be a part of our day. It's been over a year since our wedding, and we've been meaning to write Lauren a review ever since. She has been the most responsive, sweetest person involved in our wedding planning. She is fun, professional, and thoughtful. She made me feel as at ease in front of a camera as I could be. In addition to just being a great person to work with, we are so so happy with the photos she took! She is so good at editing photos to make it look like real life, but better, instead of that real life + filter look. If that makes sense. She helped us put together a book from our engagement photos. We used it as a guestbook at the wedding. It's my favorite thing sitting on our coffee table. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Wedding photos were the most important thing to me and my fiancé when it came to our wedding, because the photos are the best way to relieve your special day over and over again. We found Lauren and met up with her to go over our vision for our wedding day. From the moment we met her she was so incredibly sweet and we immediately clicked. She showed us her portfolio and we immediately fell in love with her work. Not only is Lauren extremely talented she also makes you feel like family from the moment you meet her. She goes above and beyond and produces pure magic. Lauren did your engagement photos, and our wedding photos and the photos bring me to tears when I look through them because she did such an amazing job! We got our photos back so quickly and they were all amazing! I can’t even begin to pick a favorite. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our best day ever. Trust me when I say you will regret not hiring Lauren! Best decision we ever made.

I found Lauren Mihae in a time of excitement. I was engaged.

We hired her for our engagement photos and besides being the nicest person ever, she goes above and beyond from helping you pick out outfits, to showing up early to scout out your location. She will make you feel super comfortable in front of the camera and keep you laughing the whole time. Our engagement photos are so incredibly perfect and beautiful. She is so talented.
