I'm Lauren, a nationally published and award-winning fine art wedding photographer who provides timeless and artful imagery for couples and families in the Washington D.C. area and beyond.

After over half a decade of shooting events, portraits, and weddings, I have all of the insider tools and tips to make your wedding day as beautiful as you dream.

We LOVED working with Lauren!

Worth every penny!

Above and beyond!
Lauren really goes above and beyond! Whether it was scoping out off-site locations for our first look, or getting on the ground to scrub sand out of my wedding dress, she really took care of us. Her photos are fresh, romantic, and timeless. Several of my guests commented that Lauren was the most subtle wedding photographer they'd seen, never getting in the way of the events. I'm so thrilled we hired her, and would do it again!

Stunning photos & like working with a friend
My husband and I worked with Lauren for Cherry blossom portraits this spring and then at our wedding a few months ago. Lauren is not only an outstanding photographer but is also a truly warm and generous person- the kind of person you want with you on your wedding day.
For our engagement photos, Lauren spent a full morning with us so that we could get in sunrise Cherry blossom shots and photos inside the National Gallery of Art (a favorite DC spot of ours). She dedicated far more time and effort on this than just a hourlong portrait session, which had been my baseline expectation for an engagement shoot.
We appreciated Lauren’s thorough questionnaire and series of check-in calls in the weeks leading up to the wedding, which helped us understand our own photo priorities a bit better and made us feel like we were in very good hands leading up to the day.
Lauren was a joy to have with us on the wedding day. She kept us on time while at the same time making sure we were at ease and not rushed. She captured a perfect mix of candid shots of the party, our guests, little details we could have otherwise missed, and of course the stunning family, wedding party, and couples shots. She did a fantastic job of making sure all corners of our gorgeous venue were utilized and captured, and the way she framed the more posed shots is stunning.
We are so thrilled to have found Lauren, and can’t wait to work with her again for future milestones!

Absolutely the best decision we made! truly incredible photography!
It’s almost impossible to capture in words what Lauren did for us on our wedding day but she truly captured magic. If I could give her more than 5 stars i would. Every special moment, all the little things, from the small but significant details, to my grandfather‘s conversations with my grandmother, to every reaction to the special moments— every little moment is captured forever in it’s most honest and true form and the results are unreal. Truly the best gift I could ever imagine. Hiring Lauren was the single best decision I made in my wedding planning process. The value, the artistic talent , and the service for your cost of doing business with her are unparalleled, I would pay 10x over for the work that she did for us. Her eye, her vision, and just her general demeanor were incredible— we absolutely LOVED working with Lauren and the compliments on our photos have been overwhelming. I can’t wait for Lauren to capture my families memories forever!

10/10 would recommend to everybody!
If I could give Lauren more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I chose May 1st as our wedding date, but as corona virus came and the stay-at-home orders were put into place, we were contemplating postponing our wedding. Our original photographer had canceled on us a month before our wedding, and we were struggling to find someone who was talented and available. By the grace of God, we were referred to Lauren we were able to book her less than a month before our wedding!
A couple weeks before my wedding day, Lauren stopped by to drop off a box for us. Inside of it was her own bridal magazine with helpful information, a sweet letter congratulating us, and a custom watercolor she had made for us, with a frame. It was such a kind gesture for her to drop this box of goodies for us, considering that she lives about 45 minutes from us. While she was in my neighborhood, she went exploring around to find somewhere with good lighting for where we could have the ceremony. Because she is an expert, she quickly found a beautiful field with nice trees as a backdrop. Thanks to her, we were able to have a gorgeous ceremony with great pictures.
While my elopement package was only about 3 hours total, Lauren took over 700 pictures during that time! She was so detail oriented and made all my homemade decorations look fancy. She delivered the entire package of edited photos exactly 1 week after we got married. Once we received them, it was so hard to chose our favorites. Lauren is SO talented, and is worth every penny. I could not have been more pleased with her as a person and her outstanding work. She made my day memorable and I am so happy to show my future kids our beautiful wedding pictures, all thanks to Lauren. Thank you so much!

The Absolute Best
Lauren is absolutely the best photographer we could have found. She is so talented and knowledgable. She coached us very kindly in our engagement pictures and wedding photos to get perfect shots. Her style is beautiful and we continue to get compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. We could not thank her enough!

The best vendor you will ever hire!
THANK YOU LAUREN! I don’t even know where to begin when describing how amazing and great Lauren and her services are. From start to finish, Lauren was sweet, informative, flexible and professional. Her packages are very straight forward, and her amazing photos speak for themselves. I felt like I had known her for years when we met up for our included engagement shoot, which made wedding day even better because I felt like another friend was there. She made my husband and I feel like models, and her turnaround time is insanely fast! I’ve lost count of the compliments I have received on the quality of her photos, and I would HIGHLY recommend her as the photographer for your wedding, engagement/baby announcement, or literally anything you need a photographer for!

Lauren made our day so relaxing!
I hired Lauren to photograph my daughter's bridal shower that I hosted in Northern Virginia. I found Lauren on Instagram and immediately knew that I loved her style. Lucky for me, she was available, and once we connected on the phone, I felt even more confident about hiring her. Not only is she a talented photographer but also pleasant and polite, the kind of person you want around on your wedding day or other special events. She photographed all the details of the day and took pictures of all the guests during the cocktail hour. My daughters and I were able to relax and enjoy the day while Lauren took what turned out the be the most beautiful photos. I would hire Lauren again and can highly recommend her to others.
