I know a lot of reviews claim to have the best photographer but Laura was the absolute best choice for us. My husband and I were looking for a photographer for our Miami Beach elopement. We contacted Laura and she already had plans to be in Miami that same weekend for another wedding. Talk about serendipitous timing! We had a meet and greet call with her and instantly connected with her positive energy.

This is my and my husband's second wedding. It definitely doesn't make us wedding photographer experts :) but having another experience to draw from made us know what we liked and didn't. Some of the things about Laura that really stood out for us were:

- Her communication. Laura stayed in touch throughout the process, including when she safely arrived in Miami, and provided lengthy, detailed responses to all of our questions.
- Her energy! She's so fun to be around and made us instantly comfortable in front of the camera. She also gave us plenty of direction so we had a variety of poses.
- Pre-elopement, she put together a cool mood board with screenshots of different areas of our venue where we could take photos, along with a list of must-have shots. We thought that was a nice touch.
- Laura delivered sneak peek photos THE SAME DAY AS OUR WEDDING! She sent us a link to 20 edited photos a few hours after our time with her. It meant a lot to us to be able to quickly share some photos with our parents who were itching to see them.
- The private, online client portal made downloading and ordering our photos super easy. There was also a link that made it easy for us to share with friends and family (and for them to order photos too).
- Laura was happy to have our venue and vendors share our wedding photos on their social media pages and websites, and even reached out to them directly to let them know where they can access the photos.
- We were blown away by the photos she delivered. They are stunning! She perfectly captured our day and just as important, our personalities.
- She's an inclusive photographer and offers her services to everyone. It's awesome that she mentions this on her website. It's super important to us to work with vendors who share these values!

She made all of our wedding photo dreams come true by working her magic. She is so personable, sweet, and really accommodating.

The who process from booking to capture was effortless and fun! Wedding photos where our highest priority when it came to our special day. We wanted someone to capture the little moments and the vibe of our day. Laure did that and so much more!!

We used Laura as our wedding photographer for our wedding last year and truly cannot rave about her enough! She nailed my vision for my wedding photos perfectly and captured the day beautifully. I had sent her a vision board of some inspiration photos and the photos she captured were even better. We could tell she really took the time to research the venue and find out what we wanted ahead of time so the day would go smoothly. We cannot rave enough about Laura Memory Photography and the pure art that Laura can create with her camera! I originally found Laura on Instagram and loved her ability to capture candid, authentic, and genuine joy in her clients. While I was wedding planning, I decided to somewhat secretly try out her services and booked a photoshoot with two of my best friends. The pictures Laura took of the three of us are so precious to us, and I’m so grateful that she captured this moment in time of our friendship.

It goes without saying that I really wanted Laura as our wedding photographer after such a wonderful experience with my friends. We quickly booked her for our special day and took advantage of the included engagement photoshoot, which we planned a trip to the Biltmore for.

The thing I love most about Laura is her positivity and the fun that she brings to her photoshoots. We had such a FUN time shooting our engagement photos, and the joy and love that me and my (now) husband have for each other is evident in the photos. As someone who isn’t always the most comfortable being in front of the camera, Laura helped with posing (where do I put my hands??), movement, and direction without being overbearing or making the photos look stiff. She works magic.

On our wedding day, Laura was there on time to start taking detail shots and captured all the moments (from dress reveals to wedding party group shots to ceremony moments to reception dancing). Honestly, it was like having a best friend and a sneaky paparazzi photographer with us the whole day. Her and her associate Raquel were lovely to be around and you could see their artistic brains working to set up incredible shots that are just gorgeous.

Laura is incredibly responsive via email, professional and positive during photoshoots, and impressively speedy with getting your sneak peeks (and full gallery!) to you after your wedding/photoshoot. Her photos aren’t the stiff, formal photos that you often see for weddings, but way more authentic and personal. I love how she captures movement, genuine laughter, and all of the small moments that mean so much. I couldn’t recommend her more highly for your wedding, maternity shoot, friendship photos, family photos, etc., and I can’t wait to work with her again!

Where do I even begin? From the moment we inquired with Laura and Drew, I knew our wedding photography was going to be something truly special.

When we initially reached out, we weren’t even engaged yet, but knew we HAD to have them for our day and they made it easy to feel like that would be possible! The biggest thing you need to know going into this process is you don’t just want photographers, you want people who become confidants, listen to your every idea, and make your day uniquely yours. When working with them, it was very easy to feel their genuine passion for their craft and unwavering dedication to their clients. Their ability to make capture our day in pictures that made anyone who saw them feel, was exactly what we wanted and what we’ll cherish so much for all the years that come. They also made our entire wedding weekend feel like a breeze. Despite the inevitable chaos (that can particularly radiate when we were the ones running the wedding at a cabin in a remote part of WV instead of a venue), they radiated calmness and positivity, which put me at ease being an anxious bride haha!

Being in the creative field as well, it’s not often that you come across people who not only excel at what they do but also genuinely care about the people they work with. Laura and Drew are those rare gems. They are more than just photographers; they are friends who share in your joy and celebrate your love as if it were their own and you’d be crazy not to have them capture your day!
