Laura, the founder of the company and licensed esthetician, has been working within the beauty industry for more than nine years. She discovered her love for makeup as a child, watching her mother style herself for years in their family home. Today, Laura is highly regarded within the industry and has worked with well-known beauty brands such as Bobbi Brown, la Mer, and Estee Lauder.

Laura is absolutely amazing
Laura was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding day makeup. Laura did my makeup and handled the beauty services for the rest of the bridal party. We all looked absolutely beautiful, and had distinct looks. My mother and mother in law were particularly happy because neither wear makeup and were very concerned about not looking like themselves. Nobody had any complaints (hard with a group of 9!) and all of our makeup lasted all night long despite the july heat and dancing. All of the communication leading up to the wedding was great. She was so amazing on the day as well and helped keep us on track. Seriously if you are on the fence, hire her.

Amazing, look at her instagram
I found Laura on Instagram (@lauraamayabeauty). Laura did my makeup for my wedding. I also had a trial appointment with her prior to the wedding. She was amazing! I was planning this wedding from NYC and she was so flexible with her schedule and so sweet. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing makeup artist. She also made me my own lipstick case and makeup pack for the wedding day touch ups. So organized and thoughtful.

Laura was the best!
I was so happy with my makeup on my wedding day! Laura did such an amazing job for me and the entire wedding party. I really appreciate how much detail and thought she gives to the entire process with the questionnaire that she sends out to everyone receiving services! I don't wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis and Laura made me feel so beautiful without feeling overdone. She really goes above and beyond with a cute little canvas makeup bag with some essentials for the night - including some more of your lip color! She really went above and beyond to make sure I felt my absolute best and I really did! I would highly recommend Laura for your beauty services!

Cannot express how amazing she is!
Laura was everything a bride would want on her wedding day. Not only is she AMAZING at what she does, she knew how to do exactly I wanted when I had no idea what I wanted. She made the whole process so fun and exciting. So friendly and bubbly. You wish she was your friend post wedding! 10/10 recommend and if I lived in the area, I would be going to her all the time for every event. Won't find a more personable, professional and talented makeup artist!

Laura is wonderful!!
Laura is amazing! She worked with me on both of my weddings (thanks COVID) and I wish she could glam me everyday! She is professional, responsive, patient and will do absolutely what you ask! She knew one of my bridesmaids is anti makeup and did an amazing job keeping her makeup minimal and natural. I felt like a movie star two years in a row! She will work with you on look you're going for and has the best products in her arsenal (hello Charlotte Tillbury Pillow Talk!). I cannot recommend her enough and honestly will call her up to do my makeup anytime I am in town for another big event (pending her availability of course!)!!

Incredibly talented makeup artist!
Book her now!!! Laura is extremely talented, I've never felt more gorgeous than on my wedding day. At the trial, she let me try airbrush since I hadn't had it done before, and I loved it so much we replicated the look on the day of! My makeup was still perfect at the end of the wedding day, and added bonus, Laura is so easy and fun to talk to! Can't wait to see her again at my best friends wedding a year from now :)

Look no further for an amazing makeup artist
Laura was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I cannot say enough great things about my whole experience. She was extremely professional, warm, down to earth, reasonable (cost wise), and flexible. My wedding was impacted by the pandemic so she worked with me so that she could do my makeup for my wedding ceremony in 2020 and also my wedding reception in 2021. I rarely had to reach out to her for updates to ensure we were all set for the correct day/time. She made me feel beautiful on one of the most important days of my life but the makeup was light, didn’t make me look like another person AND it lasted all day/night! My bridesmaids ALSO loved Laura and talked my ear off about how wonderful she was to work with. I’m truly so grateful I chose Laura and would choose her again in a heartbeat!
