Laura is absolutely amazing
Laura was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding day makeup. Laura did my makeup and handled the beauty services for the rest of the bridal party. We all looked absolutely beautiful, and had distinct looks. My mother and mother in law were particularly happy because neither wear makeup and were very concerned about not looking like themselves. Nobody had any complaints (hard with a group of 9!) and all of our makeup lasted all night long despite the july heat and dancing. All of the communication leading up to the wedding was great. She was so amazing on the day as well and helped keep us on track. Seriously if you are on the fence, hire her. -

Laura was everything a bride would want on her wedding day. Not only is she AMAZING at what she does, she knew how to do exactly I wanted when I had no idea what I wanted. She made the whole process so fun and exciting. So friendly and bubbly. You wish she was your friend post wedding! 10/10 recommend and if I lived in the area, I would be going to her all the time for every event. Won't find a more personable, professional and talented makeup artist! -

Laura was the best!
I was so happy with my makeup on my wedding day! Laura did such an amazing job for me and the entire wedding party. I really appreciate how much detail and thought she gives to the entire process with the questionnaire that she sends out to everyone receiving services! I don't wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis and Laura made me feel so beautiful without feeling overdone. She really goes above and beyond with a cute little canvas makeup bag with some essentials for the night - including some more of your lip color! She really went above and beyond to make sure I felt my absolute best and I really did! I would highly recommend Laura for your beauty services! -

Laura is wonderful!!
Laura is amazing! She worked with me on both of my weddings (thanks COVID) and I wish she could glam me everyday! She is professional, responsive, patient and will do absolutely what you ask! She knew one of my bridesmaids is anti makeup and did an amazing job keeping her makeup minimal and natural. I felt like a movie star two years in a row! She will work with you on look you're going for and has the best products in her arsenal (hello Charlotte Tillbury Pillow Talk!). I cannot recommend her enough and honestly will call her up to do my makeup anytime I am in town for another big event (pending her availability of course!)!! -

Book her now!!! Laura is extremely talented, I've never felt more gorgeous than on my wedding day. At the trial, she let me try airbrush since I hadn't had it done before, and I loved it so much we replicated the look on the day of! My makeup was still perfect at the end of the wedding day, and added bonus, Laura is so easy and fun to talk to! Can't wait to see her again at my best friends wedding a year from now :) -

Look no further for an amazing makeup artist
Laura was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I cannot say enough great things about my whole experience. She was extremely professional, warm, down to earth, reasonable (cost wise), and flexible. My wedding was impacted by the pandemic so she worked with me so that she could do my makeup for my wedding ceremony in 2020 and also my wedding reception in 2021. I rarely had to reach out to her for updates to ensure we were all set for the correct day/time. She made me feel beautiful on one of the most important days of my life but the makeup was light, didn’t make me look like another person AND it lasted all day/night! My bridesmaids ALSO loved Laura and talked my ear off about how wonderful she was to work with. I’m truly so grateful I chose Laura and would choose her again in a heartbeat!

She is extremely talented and my makeup was absolutely perfect- she listened to everything that I asked for and made me feel so beautiful! I found Laura on Instagram (@lauraamayabeauty). Laura did my makeup for my wedding. I also had a trial appointment with her prior to the wedding. She was amazing! I was planning this wedding from NYC and she was so flexible with her schedule and so sweet. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing makeup artist. She also made me my own lipstick case and makeup pack for the wedding day touch ups. So organized and thoughtful. -

Laura is incredibly talented, professional, and not to mention—she is so, so sweet! Laura provided makeup services to me, my mom, and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. From my first inquiry through my wedding day, her communication was excellent… she always responded quickly & thoroughly. She took the time to fully understand my makeup vision, and was just as thorough for my mom & bridal party. In the end, every one of us looked like an enhanced/ polished version of our natural selves-- perfectly “done” but not overly done. She is truly dedicated to ensuring that her clients are 100% satisfied, actively seeking feedback throughout the makeup application process. To top it off, Laura is a genuinely kind soul. My girls & I had so much fun getting ready with her! She even provided a little beauty-bag gift day-of with samples of products for touch-ups, future use, etc. All around, excellent service from Laura! I would recommend her to everyone!! -

Everything a Bride Needs to Look and Feel Beautiful
My experience with Laura was AMAZING.
From our first interaction Laura was responsive, polite, accommodating and supportive.
I had a large party to situate for the morning of the wedding and Laura did so with ease. As the bride she made it so easy for me to just wake up, do what I needed to do, and not worry about everyone else getting their makeup done on time.
Laura collaborated with Rachel Rizzo & Formelle by Hollee (our hair artists for the day) by creating a timeline for everyone being styled which made the morning so easy and relaxing for everyone. Afterwards they were so sweet and excited to stay until we made it into our dresses. Everyone’s makeup looked so naturally beautiful and elegant.
The best part is that she helps you feel flawless while still looking like yourself. I felt beautiful on my wedding day, and it didn’t feel like my makeup or eyelashes were weighing me down at all!
I’m SO GLAD we went with Laura and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking her NOW for your wedding day-you will not regret it! :)

Laura KILLED IT for my wedding makeup and my bridesmaids makeup. Half of my bridesmaids had never had their makeup done before and they felt so comfortable during the process. We all looked so awesome!!! So professional, clean and responsive! Would definitely recommend her to anyone. -

I had an important job leading yoga at the Music Is Art Festival. I hired Laura to do my hair and makeup for the event based on the recommendation of someone else. The day of the event was hectic and I needed her to come over at 5:30 a.m. Laura promptly arrived, was cheerful, and ready to get to work! (Impressive given the time of day.) She was great at communicating with me in advance and truly listened to my personal needs like my skin sensitivity and hair needing to hold up in an active situation -- evident by the end results. I did hair modeling in the past, so I am picky given my experience getting professional updos of all kinds. It was the best hair and makeup job I ever got!!!! Laura exceeded my expectations in every way. My hair held up to perfection for two days. The makeup was natural looking and flawless. I received lots of complements at the event and thru social media. Laura was also very personal, calming my nerves about the event and leaving me with a personalized makeup goodie bag filled with essentials I may need later like tissues, some of my custom blended cover up, sponges, and more! Her attention to detail with everything was phenomenal. I would definitely hire Laura Amaya Beauty again, and I told her that if I ever won the lottery, she would be my top choice for a personal hair and makeup artist. -

Experienced and thorough!
Laura was an AMAZING makeup artist and runs her business very professionally and clearly. My trial session with her was comfortable and she really wanted to get to bottom of what *I* wanted. She is so down to earth and made me feel awesome!! The day of the wedding was planned well with her created schedule. EVERY bridesmaid was thrilled with their look. Laura is very thorough and took the time to send all the girls a survey before the wedding to get an idea of what they wanted. Talk about going above and beyond! We all loved her, and she gave everyone looks ranging from natural to glam. She can do anything!!! -
