Make your own wedding rings — by hand, in one day, in Dallas, Texas.

LaProng is a hands-on jewelry workshop where engaged couples forge their own wedding bands from raw metal instead of buying them off a shelf. You make theirs, they make yours — or make a single ring on your own. Eloping? For a lot of couples, this is the wedding experience itself.

What you'll do
One 4-6 hour session, one-on-one with Joseph, a GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional. This is fabrication, not casting: you plan and measure your rings, cut the metal to length, shape it round, solder the band closed with a jeweler's torch, hammer it true, file and sand out every tool mark, then choose your finish — hammered, satin, or high polish. Professionals step in to set the stones, you polish the rings to full brilliance, and you can add a short engraving inside. You leave the same day wearing rings you made yourselves.

What you work with
Ethically sourced 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white, or rose — or platinum. Stones are included and chosen by you: lab-grown diamonds, natural earth-mined diamonds, moissanite, or sapphire. Every professional tool is provided.

No experience needed
Most couples who walk in have never touched a jeweler's bench. It is a beginner-level process, closely coached from the first measurement to the final polish — and it is real work, which is exactly why the ring means what it does when you slide it on.

Pricing
All-inclusive packages cover materials, tools, and coaching. Wedding ring packages start at $695; make-your-own engagement ring packages start at $2,590. Most couples spend about what comparable rings would cost from a traditional jeweler — and walk out having made them.
