The Meeting House is an airy, light location for a reception. We did minimal decorations (some ceiling lights and many flowers) but the space is amenable to much more decor, should you prefer. The wedding ceremony was among the trees with a lovely valley view. (There are many attractive options on the Arboretum grounds, but we didn't want to make our guests walk too much.) If you like the outdoors and can plan for rain or shine without too much stress, this is an ideal location.

We held a large outdoor reception at the scenic Arboretum. The guests raved at the panoramic view from the deck of the meeting house. The coordinator was wonderful for assisting in many aspects of the the reception from early in the planning stages, to day of reception, to clean up. She was very knowledgeable about wedding planning (securing outside vendors) and clear about the possibilities of this site. We had a beautiful day and lots of fun.
