It's not an exaggeration to say that working with Tammy was everything we wanted and more. While Tammy's work speaks for itself, her talents go far beyond the gorgeous photographs. She instantly makes you feel comfortable and listened to. She captured and memorialized priceless moments we never thought we would get to experience again. Working with her was a joy and a total vibe. We cannot recommend her enough!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Tammy! In addition to being so kind, professional, and easy to work with, the quality of her work speaks for itself. Tammy is truly an artist. The photos we received from our engagement shoot and wedding are more than we could have hoped for. Her work captures the beauty in the small moments throughout the day in addition to the big ones. We absolutely loved working with Tammy! As two brides taking professional photos for the first time, we weren't sure what to expect when hiring a photographer. Tammy met us for coffee to discuss our vision for photos and made us feel completely comfortable. She sent us a questionnaire ahead of our wedding to think through specific family and detail shots that we wanted to capture which was very helpful. During our engagement shoot and wedding day, Tammy kept us laughing and our joy came through in the photos. Tammy is incredibly talented and our photos turned out more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed! We can't recommend Tammy highly enough and plan to work with her again for future needs!

I wish I could give Tammy with L'amour Foto more than five stars. She exceeded ALL our expectations and captured the most wonderful memories and moments in time. I fell in love with her work on her website, but then when we received our own photos back, I was truly in awe. Tammy is super flexible, easy-going, friendly, SO talented, and makes you feel comfortable around the camera. She's not one of those photographers who directs your every move, and the authenticity that results truly shines through her work. She takes time and invests herself in your photos, and the unique touches and shots are so special. Our wedding took place in 2020 at the heart of covid, and I was worried the smaller group and lowkey ceremony would be underwhelming for a photographer. I couldn't have been more wrong. Tammy hyped us up, was 100% present and engaged, and captured the sweetest, sweetest moments from our day. I've had so many people compliment and adore our photos. They really are spectacular. We were so pleased that we immediately hired her for our wedding celebration that took place last month. I swear I would have moved the celebration date if she wasn't available. She's just the best. She was so great with our family and friends, and I heard so many times both nights, "your photographer is the best!" If you hire her for your special day, I promise you a million times over that will be your easiest and best decision

I was beyond floored when I saw how gorgeous my wedding photos were. Even in the crazy times of COVID, Tammy was positive and amazing!! The photos really speak for themselves, they are beautiful! We loved Tammy’s shots especially because she caught moments of my husband and I that I didn’t even know people were witnessing. Now we can remember those sweet moments forever.

Hiring Tammy at L'amour photo was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. After months of searching and not feeling inspired by what I was seeing - my manager at work (I live in NYC) asked her cousin who was married in NC for a suggestion and I reached out. We flew to Raleigh for the weekend and met Tammy in Durham and immediately felt like old friends - I knew she would make us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and SHE DID!!! I was so nervous on my wedding day I thought I would look it in the photos. Absolutely not, the photos were way above and beyond my wildest dreams. Because I live far away, we didn't even do a test shoot before hand and she was perfect. We also hired a second shooter thru her and she was awesome as well. We couldn't be happier that we went with Tammy. She's kind, calm, and collected. Book her now.

From the moment we met Tammy my husband and I immediately felt at ease. She made us feel extremely comfortable even though we were both a little camera shy during our engagement photos. At our very intimate wedding (~15 people), Tammy fit right in and captured everything so beautifully. On top of all of that, we absolutely love the photos she took for us, and our family and friends have also commented on beautifully the photos turned out. We would (and do!) absolutely recommend her to anyone!

We knew immediately after meeting Tammy that hiring her as our wedding photographer would be one of the best decisions we could make. Her professionalism and lovely demeanor were evident from the start, but she still managed to blow our (already high) expectations out of the water with the actual experience of working with her, as well as the finished product.

Tammy has a natural way of putting people at ease despite the high-stress nature (and many moving parts) of a wedding celebration. I had tons of nerves right before the majority of the pre-ceremony portraits were taken, but they melted away after a few minutes, and I have Tammy's calming (and fun!) presence to thank for that.

Hands down, L'amour Foto was my favorite vendor at our wedding. Tammy took our engagement photos, and we were sold. We met a couple times before the wedding to go over details, and she made us feel so relaxed about the whole process. We trusted her the way we would have trusted a lifelong friend to capture our wedding day. On the big day itself, she was the most calming presence to us and to all our loved ones. Usually I'm nervous around photographers, but never with Tammy. I should also point out that she sent us our final photos at 10:30pm on Christmas Eve so that we could have them by Christmas. That alone speaks volumes to her character, and we were so touched by this wonderful gesture. Our first Christmas morning as a married couple was spent reliving our wedding day with our beautiful photos. Each one is like a treasure. Months later, guests from our wedding still talk about our amazing photographer. My husband and I cannot wait to work with her again in the future!
