  Amazing photographer in Triangle area!

  I cannot say enough good things about working with Tammy! In addition to being so kind, professional, and easy to work with, the quality of her work speaks for itself. Tammy is truly an artist. The photos we received from our engagement shoot and wedding are more than we could have hoped for. Her work captures the beauty in the small moments throughout the day in addition to the big ones. These small moments helped to tell such an intimate story of our wedding day and are some of the photos that I treasure the most! Tammy made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She provided a perfect balance of subtle guidance while also allowing us to interact in a way that felt natural to us, resulting in photos that really captured our personalities and relationship.
  When planning our wedding, we knew that the decision of booking a photographer was one of the most important that we would make, and I am so grateful that we made the decision to go with Tammy. I would 100% work with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer in NC!
  P.s. wanted to give a special shout out to her black and white photos! She is truly a magician at editing.

  Incredible Photos!

  We absolutely loved working with Tammy! As two brides taking professional photos for the first time, we weren't sure what to expect when hiring a photographer. Tammy met us for coffee to discuss our vision for photos and made us feel completely comfortable. She sent us a questionnaire ahead of our wedding to think through specific family and detail shots that we wanted to capture which was very helpful. During our engagement shoot and wedding day, Tammy kept us laughing and our joy came through in the photos. Tammy is incredibly talented and our photos turned out more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed! We can't recommend Tammy highly enough and plan to work with her again for future needs!

  The best photographer out there!

  I wish I could give Tammy with L'amour Foto more than five stars. She exceeded ALL our expectations and captured the most wonderful memories and moments in time. I fell in love with her work on her website, but then when we received our own photos back, I was truly in awe. Tammy is super flexible, easy-going, friendly, SO talented, and makes you feel comfortable around the camera. She's not one of those photographers who directs your every move, and the authenticity that results truly shines through her work. She takes time and invests herself in your photos, and the unique touches and shots are so special. Our wedding took place in 2020 at the heart of covid, and I was worried the smaller group and lowkey ceremony would be underwhelming for a photographer. I couldn't have been more wrong. Tammy hyped us up, was 100% present and engaged, and captured the sweetest, sweetest moments from our day. I've had so many people compliment and adore our photos. They really are spectacular. We were so pleased that we immediately hired her for our wedding celebration that took place last month. I swear I would have moved the celebration date if she wasn't available. She's just the best. She was so great with our family and friends, and I heard so many times both nights, "your photographer is the best!" If you hire her for your special day, I promise you a million times over that will be your easiest and best decision

  Best Photos!!

  I was beyond floored when I saw how gorgeous my wedding photos were. Even in the crazy times of COVID, Tammy was positive and amazing!! The photos really speak for themselves, they are beautiful! We loved Tammy’s shots especially because she caught moments of my husband and I that I didn’t even know people were witnessing. Now we can remember those sweet moments forever.

  A dream photographer and a friend

  Hiring Tammy at L'amour photo was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. After months of searching and not feeling inspired by what I was seeing - my manager at work (I live in NYC) asked her cousin who was married in NC for a suggestion and I reached out. We flew to Raleigh for the weekend and met Tammy in Durham and immediately felt like old friends - I knew she would make us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and SHE DID!!! I was so nervous on my wedding day I thought I would look it in the photos. Absolutely not, the photos were way above and beyond my wildest dreams. Because I live far away, we didn't even do a test shoot before hand and she was perfect. We also hired a second shooter thru her and she was awesome as well. We couldn't be happier that we went with Tammy. She's kind, calm, and collected. Book her now.

  Talented and Personable!

  From the moment we met Tammy my husband and I immediately felt at ease. She made us feel extremely comfortable even though we were both a little camera shy during our engagement photos. At our very intimate wedding (~15 people), Tammy fit right in and captured everything so beautifully. On top of all of that, we absolutely love the photos she took for us, and our family and friends have also commented on beautifully the photos turned out.   We knew immediately after meeting Tammy that hiring her as our wedding photographer would be one of the best decisions we could make. Her professionalism and lovely demeanor were evident from the start, but she still managed to blow our (already high) expectations out of the water with the actual experience of working with her, as well as the finished product.
  
  Tammy has a natural way of putting people at ease despite the high-stress nature (and many moving parts) of a wedding celebration. I had tons of nerves right before the majority of the pre-ceremony portraits were taken, but they melted away after a few minutes, and I have Tammy's calming (and fun!) presence to thank for that.
  
  The photos she captured are incredible and exactly what we wanted--beautiful, organic moments of joy that truly reflect the energy and spirit of our day. We feel so lucky to have worked with Tammy and can't recommend her photography services enough!

  Loved Tammy and her photography!

  I cannot say enough good things about Tammy and her photography. She strikes an amazing combination of being professional, organized, and timely with such personal warmth and openness. We loved her natural, candid and beautiful photographs. We were so happy we found Tammy and that she was willing to travel for our wedding in Upstate New York. 110% would recommend Tammy.

We met a couple times before the wedding to go over details, and she made us feel so relaxed about the whole process. We trusted her the way we would have trusted a lifelong friend to capture our wedding day. On the big day itself, she was the most calming presence to us and to all our loved ones. Usually I'm nervous around photographers, but never with Tammy. I should also point out that she sent us our final photos at 10:30pm on Christmas Eve so that we could have them by Christmas. That alone speaks volumes to her character, and we were so touched by this wonderful gesture. Our first Christmas morning as a married couple was spent reliving our wedding day with our beautiful photos. Each one is like a treasure. Months later, guests from our wedding still talk about our amazing photographer. My husband and I cannot wait to work with her again in the future!

But, more than the pictures being amazing, Tammy's presence is calm and warm- this is a HUGE help on a chaotic wedding day. She is able to corral a crazy group of family and friends in a way that makes everyone feel welcome- resulting in some fantastic shots. I HIGHLY recommend Tammy for any of your photography needs!

  We loved everything about Tammy! She made the whole experience so effortless, to the point that we forgot that we were even being photographed (which was good for camera shy people). Her pictures were breathtaking and truly captured our joyful event. We had an outdoor fall wedding that went well into the evening and her expertise with changing light was evident. We received a sneak peek within a week with about 20-25 photos to sate us while we waited for the full set of photos, which she delivered in just five weeks! Tammy seems to revel in the opportunity to capture life through the lens of a camera.

  We loved everything about Tammy! She made the whole experience so effortless, to the point that we forgot that we were even being photographed (which was good for camera shy people). Her pictures were breathtaking and truly captured our joyful event. We had an outdoor fall wedding that went well into the evening and her expertise with changing light was evident. I was a very non traditional bride-- I had clear ideas of what I wanted and what I didn't want-- and I DID NOT want the girly, typical wedding photos that are just not me. Tammy listened-- she made suggestions of shots that I hadn't thought of-- but she never pushed me in a direction I didn't want to go. Working with her was effortless- she was there and not there-- she took great candids of me and my all my girls and wonderful shots throughout the wedding and most importantly on the dance floor. I would recommend Tammy to anyone. She is professional, thoughtful, creative and sweet; what more do you need on your wedding day??

  Tammy is a complete gem, and you could not go wrong hiring her. She is creative, flexible, talented, and so so kind and wonderful. Her spirit naturally draws out your inner joy and makes photographs look even more beautiful. With our engagement shoot, she was flexible and excited, and had a way of making me giggle throughout the entire shoot. I usually feel uncomfortable in front of a camera lens, even if my husband is the one taking the photo, and I felt completely at ease with Tammy. Throughout the wedding, Tammy was organized and accommodated our request for large numbers of group photos. She was also super creative and would sneak us away for gorgeous shots. Additionally, she managed to work with our guests so easily, despite many of our guests having English as a second language. She is also incredible with children. Even when we were worried that some equipment had been lost, Tammy did not miss a beat and kept on shooting our photos with a smile. She is so professional and endearing, and we love her. While my husband and I are moving out of North Carolina, we plan on returning to see Tammy again when we have some little ones.

From beginning to end Tammy had excellent communication, worked with us on what we thought was most important to capture, and added her editing eye to create some incredible photographs. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in the RDU area (or beyond), and am SO grateful we found each other for our wedding!

  Tammy is amazing! She took our engagement photos and wedding photos, and went out of her way to make sure that we got everything we wanted. The quality of the pictures is out of this world good. I would highly recommend her!!! She's one of the few photographers out there that captures emotions in her pictures.

  Tammy consistently exceeded our expectations throughout the wedding process. We worked with many excellent vendors, but Tammy stood out for her professionalism, personability, and great results. Several of our family members commented on how comfortable she made everyone feel during the wedding. Additionally, we were extremely impressed with the quality of the photos that she took.   Tammy is a warm, incredibly talented, and hard working photographer. To say that she went above and beyond all throughout our wedding process is an understatement. She was wonderful with the kids that we had at the wedding, navigated family dynamics with grace and humor, and worked so hard to make sure Ben and I had exactly what we wanted from our photos.   I can not say enough good things about Tammy! Working with her was amazing and I can't wait to be in need of her stellar services again.
  
  I had initially been worried that my fiance and I might feel too stiff, uncomfortable, and silly going through an engagement photo session with a stranger, but Tammy was so sweet and easy going that we instantly felt like we were with a friend. It was very easy to just be ourselves and enjoy our time with her.
  
  I'm very picky about how I look in photos, and generally hate pictures of myself. However, I have no complaints about the photos Tammy took! I love all of them. She has an eye for the unexpected, intimate moments and manages to catch your best side.
  
  We have several pets and it was very important to us to include them in our memories, so we asked her to allow our three large dogs in our engagement session. Not only was she more than accommodating, but the dogs loved her too! She did a great job catching their attention as needed, and working around them when they stubbornly refused to cooperate.
  
  I can't wait to work with Tammy again. I HIGHLY recommend her to every single person that is in need of photography, and even purchased an engagement package for my brother and his fiance after he proposed last month.
