Evin at Laki Events was instrumental in ensuring our wedding day went smoothly! Even as a type A, hyper-organized bride her experience, understanding of the wedding industry and ability to make sure everything went seamless the day of the wedding were invaluable. She went above and beyond to make our planning process easier - from putting finishing touches on our decor to returning our rentals. Taylor, Lara, and the Laki team are a dream to work with. I feel like they could read my mind because I barely had to interact with them at and everything still turned out exactly how I wanted it to. Unrelated pro tip: let your wife do all of the wedding planning. In all seriousness I would not hesitate to trust them with your special day. They are professional, responsive, and very kind and patient. I became very worried when I saw Taylor wearing an OSU hat (typically that is indicative of a lower than average IQ)... but she is a winner, unlike their football team and every other OSU alum I have ever interacted with. I like Taylor almost as much as I hate OSU. Go Blue

We utilized Laki Events & Design just for the flowers at our wedding--and they nailed it! The initial consultation was easy to set up. I sent Lara lots of inspo pictures, which she viewed and incorporated into her design. Lara listened to what I wanted and was very detailed in her proposal. She was easygoing, kind, and great to work with. There were no issues on the day of our wedding--all the flowers arrived on time and everything was stunning. Their designs were elegant, classy, and romantic--yet modern--and that's exactly what we had wanted. 10/10 would recommend Laki Events & Design for your wedding florals!

Truly the best team I could have asked for!
I threw a wedding in my backyard this past November. I started out only wanting the 90 day planner but I upgraded to the partial planner and it was so worth it! Evin was so on top of it and answered all my questions and guided me through the whole process. She had a vendor for everything!

She was so wonderful the day of my whole family and my new husband fell in love with her. I also booked my florals with Laki Events. They were really able to help me stretch my budget and bring my vision to life! Everyone was so impressed. I will think about those flowers forever. My bouquet and my bridesmaids were so stunning and it exactly what I was looking for.

This review is super late, my wedding was march 2022, but we could not have been happier with Evin & Lara from Laki events! We used them for both partial planning and florals. They were absolutely incredible both leading up to and on the day of the wedding. My husband and I are both very organized people, but we were so impressed by Evin & Lara's handling of every little detail to make sure we were 100% happy. We never felt pressure to overspend, they did such an amazing job bringing our vision to life while staying within our budget. We had several other vendors comment to us that they were so great to work with and that "not all wedding planners are this good!". Definitely recommend Laki for both planning and florals, we're so glad we chose them!

I had an elopement package from the Andaz Resort that included a bouquet and boutonniere from Laki. I ended up booking them as my planner and for the rest of the florals for the ceremony. My planner, Evin Wald, was absolutely incredible. I wasn't sure if I needed a planner since our guest list was so small (about 23 people), but I'm so glad she was my planner. She put together timeline, coordinated with all the vendors, and helped me with other extras that I hadn't thought of. She was quick to help answer all of my many questions, was super flexible and knowledgeable, and made sure everything ran smoothly during the ceremony. She seriously lowered my bridal anxiety, and I can't imagine trying to do everything without her.

And then the flowers. Oh my goodness. I'm not exaggerating to say they were the prettiest flowers I've ever seen. They exceeded my high expectations. The centerpieces, the arbor, the bouquet, and even my mom's wrist corsage were stunning. All of my guests were raving about how beautiful the flowers were.

There will never be enough words to express our gratitude for Laki Events. We worked with Lara & Evin, and from the start they not only made us feel like family, but were extremely helpful in asking all of the right questions to help pull the ideas out from our heads and get them on paper. Throughout the entire time we worked with Laki, they were extremely responsive, knowledgeable (both about rentals as well as other various wedding related situations & best practices) and actionable. The moment we needed a new quote, or something adjustment, they'd reach out to the vendor asap to coordinate.
They brought our vision to life, and were so loving throughout the entire process. The day of our ceremony, they handed EVERYTHING. We didn't even have to think! They were on it, and it allowed us to just enjoy the day.
Again, we cannot say enough great things about Laki, but know that by working with them, you'll truly have the best day of your life!

We hired Laki Events and Design for our destination wedding (we live in Chicago but our wedding was in Scottsdale, Arizona) and they were FABULOUS!
We interviewed quite a few of potential wedding planners before we came across Laki and it was clear from our very first Zoom call with Lara that they were best possible option.

Lara and Brooke were an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way - they are professional, detail oriented and creative - everything you could want in an event planner.
They thought of absolutely everything, they solved problems before they happened and anticipated my every need as the bride. On top of everything else Brook and Lara are two of the kindest, most genuine women - they are so sweet and so fun to be around!

I am a destination bride from the east coast, and I actually found Laki Events from visiting my venue the day that they were setting up another wedding (in April 2021). I got to see them bring my venue to life and it honestly had me SOLD right away - on both the venue and using Laki!!! I met Brooke, the team lead for that wedding, and I told her I was only in town for a few days, and asked if she had time to have a meeting with me. She was kind enough to fit me into her busy schedule, and made me feel SO CALM and mellow about the entire planning process. I knew I wanted to go with Laki right away, and had a meeting set up with Lara, the owner, via Zoom. Lara was WONDERFUL!!! She was so easy to work with over the phone and Zoom - which is extremely important for a destination bride because it’s already so difficult being far away. I decided to plan my wedding in October of 2021, so we already were on a time crunch. Lara gave me such great recommendations. She even went to see samples for me, and face-timed me so we could pick things out together (such as linens and the kind of flatware/dishes I wanted). Another positive is that Lara has a second part of the business and also does the floral, so I she was able to bring my full vision to life on both ends of the spectrum! Lara helped me book vendors, rentals, and bring everything in. She also assigned Brooke to my wedding as the Team Lead since I loved her so much! When I saw the venue on my big day, I was just blown away with how everything came to life! Exactly what I envisioned. The details were just unbelievable, and the flowers were amazing. Lara, Brooke, Gina, and team - thank you SO MUCH for my absolutely PERFECT day!!! I truly could not have pulled this off without you amazing ladies!!! Everyone at home on the east coast is still talking about the wedding to this day - so you know it was an overall hit! Thank you again Laki!!!!

I actually don't even know where to start...the entire Laki team helped us create and execute the wedding of our dreams! To be honest, we were a little hesitant to hire a planner at first (bc we wanted to stay within our budget!), but we are SO happy we did. Our lead planner Brooke was an actual angel — she went above and beyond to make sure our day was beyond perfect. From the moment we met Lara and Brooke, we both felt heard. She totally understood our vision and was ready to take on the task. She is SO detail oriented, organized and supportive. Brooke even went as far as to offer pick up various rentals for us from various places and checked in multiple times just to see how we were feeling and ask if there was ANYTHING we needed. If you're planning a wedding, you know there are so many details that go into the day/the timeline/etc. Brooke and the Laki team HANDLED it. The day was perfection and we owe SO much to the entire Laki team. Brooke was an incredible advocate for us and we are so appreciative. I cannot recommend Laki (and our gal Brooke N.!) more!
