Not only is their facility and land beautiful with the perfect setting on the lake, but their staff was awesome! In the stress of our wedding day they were there going above and beyond what we ever expected!! We would recommend Lake Hill Winery to others and, without hesitation, would book them for any event in the future.

Lake Hill Winery set the perfect scene for our beautiful wedding. We received so many compliments on the location. The staff is very helpful and our contract was very clearly laid out.

Lake Hill is beautiful! We had our reception here in January and it was the perfect size. No need for lots of decorations in place as nice as this. The only issue we had was that we set up on January 1st, the day after a big party there. They said it would be all cleaned up and ready to go, but my father in law ended up having to vacuum the whole place. Besides that, setup went fine and the staff were very helpful on the day of the reception. We loved it!

Lake Hill Winery was the perfect venue for our reception! I'm originally from the area and my husband is from Springfield, so it was perfect for family and friends who lived nearby. Our wedding was in May and the grounds were fantastic for outdoor photos. The events coordinator, Rachel, was great at communicating over long distances (since we were planning from afar). They were also great at letting us into the banquet hall the day before the wedding to decorate. Everything was really flawless and we were incredibly happy with the quality of service that we received.

Our ideas of how we wanted to set up the banquet hall differed a lot from how past weddings had been set up, but the event coordinator, Maddie, was very patient and accommodating. The Wednesday night before the wedding, my mom and I and several other ladies went to the winery to fold cloth napkins for the reception dinner. Not only were we allowed in on a night the winery was closed, but Maddie and another employee served us wine and allowed us to bring in cheese and crackers :)

At my husband's request, we had Maddie and owner Craig design a custom wine label for the Duckhat that was served during our toast. We were a little picky, but they tweaked it until it was exactly how we wanted it. (The wine itself was pretty darn good, too!)

I would have given the venue 5/5 stars except the in-house caterer was very hard to get in touch with at times...also, we requested snacks around lunch time, as most of the wedding party spent the entire day at the venue (which we used both for the ceremony and reception), and the caterer showed up an hour late with the snacks.

We had to wait until 30 days before our wedding to ensure that we would be able to use the winery for our rehearsal, in case someone else booked it the night before. However, once the 30-day mark arrived and no one had spoken for the place on Friday night, our decorator had most of the day Friday to get the banquet hall decorated...that was a Godsend for her as most of the decorating was finished by the time we arrived for the rehearsal!

All in all, it is a beautiful, spacious venue and definitely top-notch for a rural community.

Lake Hill Winery is an absolutely beautiful location! Their prices were incredibly reasonable and they offer catering with the venue, making it a breeze to get everything together. I am looking forward to our big day and working with them in the future!
