Nestled in the heart of nature 15 minutes from historic Julian, California, Lake Cuyamaca is a serene and beautiful wedding location. The former volunteer firehouse of Cuyamaca has been remodeled into a venue for couples celebrating their big day. The space is open and welcoming to all couples, from the spacious deck overlooking the lake to the Firehouse itself. The space acts as a blank canvas for couples to design and make their own. From the ceremony to the reception, couples are free to have an experience tailored to their own style.
Lake Cuyamaca Recreation and Park District allows couples full liberty to bring in their own outside vendors. The venue offers ample time to set up and clean up the event, with access from the day before to the morning after. Tables and chairs can be provided by the venue which is also pet-friendly and has plenty of parking available for guests. From engagement parties to wedding showers and rehearsal dinners to receptions, couples are welcome to celebrate every part of their wedding journey at Lake Cuyamaca.
