If you are imagining a relaxed, rustic-industrial style for your wedding, Lake Affect Studios is the place for you! This venue is the most beautiful blank canvas that you could imagine. Our goal was to have both the ceremony and reception at the same venue and Lake Affect Studios had exactly that. The industrial warehouse space had more than enough room to support our ceremony including a large bridal party and 150 guests. We utilized their main space for our reception, that included a built-in bar, mood lighting, and a stage which helped to create the romantic and chill atmosphere that we were going for. The space had the ability to feel intimate without being claustrophobic. Our guests had ample room to move about, either hanging at the bar, dancing on the dance floor, or hanging in the back playing games. The private bridal suite made it easy to take a step away or have a celebratory moment with our bridal party. The venue staff did not go unnoticed and went above and beyond to help make our wedding day a success. Finally, a big shout out to Stephanie who worked with us to make sure we had a layout that would work for their venue and a timeframe that fit the night. She supported us in our bar decisions and even allowed us to take pictures on the roof. She was an excellent resource and supporter for our non-traditional wedding.

From the beginning the contract was so fair and communication was clear and open. Stefanie was so helpful with answering any questions I had and made the whole process so easy. The space allowed me to set up a day before which was so nice. It was the perfect space for my 140 guests for both the ceremony and reception. The outside courtyard was so cute and the dance floor was big enough for all my guests. The space allowed for me to really decorate how I wanted it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Such an incredible time made possible by Stefanie, Amanda and the rest of the lake affect staff.

We had our wedding here last week (2.24.24) and I cannot thank the staff enough. I knew when we started wedding planning that I wanted a warehouse vibe and Lake Affect Studios was the first place we actually went to look at and I fell in love. From the beautiful lighting fixtures, the bar, gorgeous wood floors, windows, private wedding party space and the separate ceremony area I knew I wanted to have my wedding and reception here. (Even the bathrooms took my breath away.) I loved that they offered tables and chairs and it allowed me to be creative with my diy vision. Throughout wedding planning, Amanda and Stefanie were so helpful in making my dreams come to life. On actual wedding day everything was absolutely flawless and I was blown away in every possible way. The bartenders were so nice and we got so many compliments on the service and how gorgeous the space was. We are so grateful that we chose Lake Affect as our wedding venue! The beautiful old wooden floors alongside the modern touches gave this loft a fun industrial feel. The two rooms are perfect so that guests can move effortlessly from the ceremony to the cocktail hour. The entire experience was perfect!

I cannot speak highly enough of Lake Affect Studios. The space had everything we were looking for in terms of location and atmosphere, and the service was unrivaled. Our wedding coordinators (Stefanie and Amanda) were amazing and went above and beyond for my husband and I. They anticipated our needs and made us feel like we were always a priority. I had my wedding at Lake Affect Studios on August 24th 2019 and it was so amazing! Stefanie the venue coordinator was so accommodating and helpful threw the whole process! Great communication from start to finish. Everyone raved about how beautiful the space was. I loved that I had the opportunity to make my wedding my own from lay out to décor. We held our wedding reception at Lake Affect in June 2019 and absolutely loved it! We worked with Stephanie throughout planning and she was really great. She returned our emails and phone calls quickly and always answered our questions. We had many opportunities to come back to see the space as we were planning. We wanted a loft feel close to downtown so Lake Affect was perfect. I was able to DIY a lot of the decor and felt like it reflected our personalities. We were able to come in from 10-5 the Friday before our wedding to decorate and set up. We really love the super long bar top they have. All alcohol was done through them and they had several different packages with a lot of variety and add ons that we felt were reasonably priced compared to other venues. There is also a separate "suite" where the wedding party was able to hang out before being introduced. I was a little worried that it would be warm because our wedding was in late June but the space is air conditioned and it didn't feel too warm at all. Overall it was an excellent experience, we had the MOST FUN, and we would definitely recommend holding your wedding reception or other event there! Thanks Lake Affect, hope to be back soon!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Lake Affect Studios. It was a small event with less than 80 people but the space felt filled and looked beautiful. Stefanie, the venue coordinator, was a wonder to work with. She handled communication with the vendors and even gave us advice during set up. I highly recommend LAS for a wedding reception or other party!

Lake Effect Studios is a beautiful venue. We had our reception there only, but they have a separate room where the ceremony can be held. They have LED lights that can turn many different colors to match your theme. The event coordinator, Stefanie, is a great communicator who is knowledgable and experienced and really helps ease the stress of preparing for a wedding. They have a nice outdoor patio which is available if the weather is nice. Fortunately we had great weather for our wedding.

Lake Affect Studios was the one place where I knew I HAD to get married the moment I walked in. We had a birthday party 2 years prior and the moment I saw the area then, I was in love. The low lighting, the loft vibe, and the intimacy of the venue is something I was really in love with. Guests seemed to love it as well.

Working with Amanda was such a positive experience. She was so helpful and answered each one of my 1,000,001 questions with such patience and understanding. I really enjoyed working with her and recommend other couples to do so if they are looking for a personal AND professional experience.

Amanda and Danny have GREAT vendors that they recommend. They both have great taste and will NOT steer you wrong.

I cannot wait to find another excuse to hold other events there in the future!
