We had a friend that was going to DJ/MC our wedding, 1.5 months prior to our day our friend had a family emergency and was not going to be able to do it. So the search began... I found L JAM Productions on weddingwire.com, sent her a message and within 5 minutes, she answered me and by whatever miracle, she was available! We met her shortly afterwards, went over the contract and gave her a list of songs I had been working on. She was so willing to work with us, even last minute changes to the playlist. She came up with our timeline for our wedding, she was amazing! Her assistant (her daughter) was amazing as well. They set up with the possibility of rain coming, they MC'ed our wedding, they were great!! The playlist was awesome, they were able to get everyone to dance. They even agreed to help teach some of the line dances if needed. At the end of the night, her and her daughter each did a karaoke song... OMG their voices are absolutely beautiful!!! They shouldn't hide behind their equipment; they should get out their and show off their talent!
Beyond recommend L JAM Productions for your next DJ needed event, you will not regret that decision!!

Laura was outstanding!! Quick at responding and even dealt with super last minute changes. And the photo booth was a huge hit! Would recommend 100%.

Prior to my wedding we had a few last minute changes and Laura adjusted instantly. Laura sent us updated schedules and was so flexible with us and our venue. She even got on the dance floor and taught me how to wobble and embraced the little ones who were interested in what she was doing!

Laura and Isiah also had a beautiful bounce back when the smoke machine set off the fire alarm and kept things smooth while we went through that!

I truly trusted this dj because she had good reviews but on my wedding day that changed.
We were over an hour behind in schedule, she did not announce cocktail hour or really anything throughout the wedding other than dinner, played the wrong exit song for our ceremony, then just abruptly changes it to the correct one like almost a minute into the song. When I asked her about it she pretty much brushed it off and said that she didn’t have them in correct order.
Speaker quality was also awful during the ceremony, but not during the reception so thankful for that. She played our cake cutting song to cut our cake an announced it when the cake wasn’t even being brought out yet and we weren’t around, she also announced to the wedding that my grandpas birthday was YESTERDAY when it in fact is not it is on 9/5. Sat down behind the dj stand the whole entire time which was un professional and just weird and many guest asked why as well.
Charged me 50 dollars for a disco ball that wasn’t even used lol. And to top it off for our last dance decided to wait until someone had to yell at her to cut the song on because she was busy packing up? So it was just a quiet venue after she announced our last dance and she was packing up like nothing was supposed to be going on.
If I could go back I would have never ever chosen this dj and I truly mean that because I have worked so hard to plan this. I gave a straight and clear playlist and timeline that had everything filled out.
