By far the best choice for music at our wedding!!! Jeff and Ron were amazing from planning to execution!! They supported my parents when they wanted to sing and play along for a special performance on our first dance. They were very professional and I would highly rate them. Ron made it easy to plan out the event from start to finish. Stuff I would have never even thought of they were on top of. They even got some music for me they didn’t have. If I ever needed to have a mix of DJ and live music again, I would hands down hire again!!! Thank you guys so much!!

J&R Music was by far the best choice we could have made for our wedding music. From live ceremony and cocktail hour music to DJing at the reception. Jeff and Ron are SO friendly and just want to bring your special day to life. We could not have asked for better people to help coordinate and make our day go smoothly. My husband Matt and I cannot say enough good things about Jeff and Ron! We were so blessed to have them be a part of our big day. It's not often that you find a pair that does instrumentals, vocals and DJing/MC (both amazing musicians!). We had Jeff play the piano during our ceremony, Jeff and Ron both played instrumentals/did vocals for our cocktail hour and Ron was the MC during our reception and they both stayed to DJ. I chose to walk down the aisle to a song that Jeff wrote, it was just so beautiful!! We asked if he could have a violinist come to play during the ceremony as well which Jeff kindly arranged. They were both so timely with their communication and honestly exceeded all our expectations throughout the entire planning process as well as on the day itself. They nailed it all! Our family and friends who attended commented on how great they were.

J&R helped us have the BEST wedding night. They were amazing for live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, down to play whatever we requested. They helped keep the dance floor moving all night as our DJ's. I would recommend them to anyone who wants live music, a DJ, or both!

Ron and Jeff are absolutely great! From meeting and talking before the wedding they helped make our day the best day. Jeff did amazing singing for the cocktail hour. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Highly recommend them if you are wanting a fantastic time!

You will not regret choosing Ron, Gary, and Jeff to host your wedding. From start to finish, they took care of us and made us feel like a priority. We were originally scheduled to get married in 2020 but had to reschedule for 2021 due to COVID-19, and Ron made it a point to call us to check-in multiple times between our first meeting and our wedding. All of them bring such incredible talent and intuition to their craft, our event flowed seamlessly from beginning to end. They performed live music for us during our cocktail hour, and then hosted the rest of the reception as DJ's, and I could not choose one that I enjoyed more than the other - both were incredible! Most importantly, they do not just come in to your event with a set playlist, play the songs, and leave; instead, they feel out the room and go with the vibes they feel from the guests. They ended our event with a live acoustic version of "Ho, hey" that was completely unexpected but absolutely perfect. I would ABSOLUTELY hire them again. They are the best!

Jeff and Ron were absolutely amazing!! From the pre-wedding meeting where they helped us with our timeline, entrance songs, intros, speeches, etc. to the actual day of where they kept things running smoothly and kept the party going! We had a the dance floor full literally the entire night and I had so many people rave about how well they were. My venue even spoke highly of them who clearly sees all sorts of DJ’s. The live music part was so special to get that added touch and they had music for everyone from oldies to new hits. They really knew how to read the crowd and even made sure to get certain songs approved by myself or husband since they were on our “do not play” list but were requested which I loved! The combination of live music and DJing really sets them apart from the rest! Highly recommend, would have them at every party if I could!

Ron with J&R Music was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was very responsive, flexible, and professional. We had a super last minute change of plans and Ron was very flexible and truly made our reception an absolute blast. The dance floor was always full with the best music playing! I would highly recommend booking J&R Music as the DJ for your wedding; they’re one of the best DJs in the greater Syracuse area!

J&R were great to work with, even with all the curveballs we encountered during the pandemic (we managed to have a socially distanced wedding during the late-summer lull in the pandemic). They met with us initially in person (before everything shutdown), then virtually. They tailored everything for us, and worked with family members that wanted to sing live at the wedding, and made everything "just work". They provided live music and coordinated with the venue to make sure the timing of the event went off perfectly.

We had the best experience with J&R Music! Our wedding was this past October (2019) at Colloca Estate Winery in Fair Haven, NY and they literally rocked it-they know how to keep the dance party going! They were both super flexible and met with us a couple of times before the wedding to make sure we got everything we wanted! There were a couple different options we could chose from, as far as packages are concerned, and we chose live music for cocktail hour, DJ music for open dancing and floor lighting. We were so impressed and so were our guests! Jeff and Ron both met all of our needs. They helped keep our wedding very organized and worked really well with our photographers to make sure everything was timed perfectly! We are so incredibly happy that J&R Music played our wedding and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to keep the party going!
