WE JUST HAD THE WEDDING OF OUR DREAMS!!!!🧡

I’ve been so excited to write this review…i am extremely grateful to everyone who helped me and my husband plan our wedding and how perfect everything turned out!!!! Our wedding was on June 22, 2026.

- PLANNING WITH RACHEL AND MAYTE: ♾️/10

I am a huge control freak that overthinks every detail. I am so so so grateful for Rachel in this process bc she did not let me stress one bit. LIKE 0!!! Planning a destination wedding is so so so difficult but she would always reassure me that everything is taken care of, she would always address my concerns, and would always keep me informed and grounded. She could read my brain and vision better than i could which was super helpful lol. Apart from being an AMAZING PLANNER, Rachel is an absolute SWEETHEART & has a special place in my heart.
Mayte took such great care of me and Jalen during the tasting and wedding day. Made everything work so that we didn’t have to worry about a THING. On wedding day all we did was worry about getting ready, i peek outside and everything is exactly how we wanted it. SHE TRANSFORMEDDDDD THAT VENUE!!!!!!

These Ladies are amazing and im glad we trusted them with our LIFEEE!!
I want to also include David in this because he truly made a difference to our experience.
David initially greeted us with a huge smile and gave us a tour of the venue. He stayed during our tasting with mayte and when me and jalen couldn’t decide, he would ask us if we wanted his
opinion ( OFC WE DID) and he would kindly tell us why we should choose that option. He would tell us the guests favorites which we appreciated. I always caught him keeping an eye on us to make sure we didn’t need anything.

On our wedding day, David took such good care of us. Out of habit i would hand him my plate when done with the food and he would tell me “don’t u lift a finger i got this , don’t you worry” . it’s something that i do out of habit but that small gesture of him told us “this is your day, relax, we got you.”

He is such a sweetheart and he definitely added to our great experience.

GORGEOUS STUNNING BEAUTIFULLLLLL
The bridal suite was perfect. I had 7 family members in there with me, one being in a wheelchair.
I do think the table in the bridal suite takes up A LOT of the space in there, but nothing crazy. got a little crowded once the makeup artists arrived and had to set up. I really do think a SLIGHTLY smaller table would make a huge difference in the space.
Jalen (husband) was happy to see they added a groom’s suite with AC and more privacy, instead of the Palapa. He loved it. the groom suite had a full standing mirror, a couch, and two areas to sit and eat. it was able to comfortably fit 5 people. ac was nice and cold and had a view to see everybody coming in. it was right next to a set of bathrooms which was downstairs and the palapa area that is covered had sitting area and always had a nice breeze.

The beach view is insane. 10000/10

omgggggggggggg . Listen, i knew Kukua would do an amazing job, BUT THEY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONSSS!!!!!!!!! Blew them out of the park and set them of fire.


One of my favorite things about my wedding day were my florals. I asked for soft sunset colors and they delivered. My bouquet was INSANE. they added a touch of light purple that i didn’t know my palette needed but im glad they did. I’m so happy everything looked better than i could ever imagine.


Mayte threw some ideas during my tasting the day before for the napkins to mix and match and it was such a good touch. The menu, name cards, seating chart list are things that they do themselves going off your colors and vibe. Please trust them because WOW. guys everything was beautiful. i’m obsessed with colors and they did not shy away from them. The dinner tables were right out of a pinterest board.

COCKTAIL HOUR-10/10

Drinks were amazing, guests loved them. It was breezy and cloudy so it made a perfect time to chill outside and take pictures. No notes! The service during this time was lovely, everyone was so attentive to us and our guests and i only have amazing things to say about them.
DINNER/ DESSERTS- 100/10

omg we ate so good. we think about the food 5 times a day. luckily Kukua is a restaurant and i can visit again.

i loved their presentation with the food. It’s such a classy, formal touch to the wedding. I wish i had pictures of the food but trust that what you’ve seen on here is what u get. PERFECTION. Our favorite dish was the ceviche. It’s the best i’ve ever had!!!!

my guests were so impressed with the presentation and service of the staff during dinner time. THEY WOULDNT LET US OR MY GUESTS LIFT A FINGER omg they are so so so so amazing.


desserts and cake were A 10000/10 , not only how they looked but the TASTE WAS AMAZINGGG.

We had the passion fruit mousse(i think that’s what it was) and the tres leches.

My cake was Vanilla with Almond filling and wow wow wow no regrets. It was on the sweeter side if that’s what you’re looking for. My cake was absolutely BEAUTIFULLLLLLL!!!!!!
MC/ OFFICIANT 10/10
Alejandro was our MC AND OFFICIANT. he translated my spanish ceremony for our english speaking guests. He was so kind and helpful and very attentive to detail in our music, introductions, and ceremony. He was very kind and although he would always go “i’m sorry to bother you but i want to know……” i felt like he should know that IM GLAD HES ASKING THESE QUESTIONS!!! it showed that the details matter to them. He played such an important part of our wedding day!!!! He’s amazing
DJ- 10/10 !!
NO NOTES!!!!!!! i was worried because i was going off of other reviews and how they felt about the DJ. every wedding is different. Honestly, i was impressed LOL. He definitely knew what song to play next that wouldn’t kill the Vibe. He kept up with my crazy guests. i didn’t wanna leave the dance floor tbh.
Overall my experience with Kukua was so so so so so good and i do not have a single regret. I trusted them with my wedding day and it’s so clear that they honor that so much. I loved everything about this Venue, especially the people that are part of it. to future couples, know this is one of the best choices you’ll make when it comes to the most special day of your life.

Kukua was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, the planning process was easy, organized, and completely stress-free. Communication was excellent, and every detail was handled with care. On our wedding day, we didn't have to worry about a single thing—we were able to simply enjoy every moment with our family and friends.

10/10!! I’m so glad that I found Kukua because I could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else! I got engaged July 2024, signed a contract with Kukua November 2024, and had my wedding March 2026. I originally thought I wanted to have my wedding at a resort until I found Kukua. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless & I had a HUGE weight lifted off of my shoulders thanks to Rachel, the wedding planner. She was always very clear, direct, and honest about the process and the decisions that had to be made, and being a control freak/Type A myself, it was nice to have her guidance and expertise. From the decor, the food, guest experience, she made sure we were getting everything we wanted, while still understanding our budget. We ended up inviting 120 people and had 74 show up, and Rachel always made sure to set expectations around what this would look like, It was very clear from the get go that she knew what she was doing and she always was available to answer my questions. If it wasn’t for her, I would have been be a hot mess express.

The day of our wedding was nothing short of perfect. Mayte, the head designer, and David, the restaurant manager, were simply THE BEST and made me, my husband, and our bridal party feel at home. The decor was BEYOND BEAUTIFUL and made me feel like a princess in a fairy tail. Every detail was exactly what I hoped for and I wouldn’t change a thing!

It ended up raining during our dinner but the Kukua team quickly pivoted, moved a few tables & chairs, and set up space inside for our first dances. We had cold fireworks planned that ended up being outside at the entrance of the dining area and it was still amazing. When the rain let up a little, they opened up the dance floor and everyone moved outside for the party. I did not have “dancing and singing in the rain” on my wedding Bingo card but I could not have asked for a better experience! It was straight out of a movie and all my guests were embracing the warm, tropical rain. It was simply the perfect ending to an unforgettable day, and I owe it all to the MC, DJ, David, Mayte, and the entire Kukua team.

If I could do it over, I honestly wouldn’t change a thing. I couldn’t imagine celebrating with my loved ones anywhere else!

I highly recommend Kukua Beach Club if you are thinking about a destination wedding in Punta Cana. We chose to get married off-site rather than at the resort, which helped us avoid hidden fees and vendor restrictions while creating a more private, personalized, and luxurious experienc without the unreasonable price tag.
Rachel, the wedding planner, was incredible throughout the entire process. She was transparent with pricing, communicated clearly, and truly helped bring my vision to life. On the wedding day, Mayte stepped in as coordinator and made my Pinterest dreams a reality. Every detail, from the décor to the florals, was even better than I imagined.
Our guests are still talking about how beautiful our wedding was and the best wedding food they’ve ever had, which says a lot!
Honestly, it’s a no-brainer. If you’re looking for a beautiful, unique, and low-stress wedding experience, do yourself a favor and get married at Kukua Beach Club.

I got married at Kukua in January 2026, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Their in-house planner, Rachel, is incredible. I booked the venue more than 18 months in advance, and she was there for me every step of the way. She helped me stay on budget, talked me through the stressful parts of wedding planning, and always managed to responded to my many messages, even late at night. You truly couldn’t ask for a better planner.

Planning a destination wedding from far away can feel overwhelming, but Rachel made the whole process so easy. One of the best parts about Kukua is that they handle so many of the vendors and planning details for you, which takes a huge weight off your shoulders.

On the wedding day, I was completely blown away by how beautiful everything looked and how amazing the food was. From the gorgeous florals to the thoughtful décor and the stunning backdrop, everything was perfect. I had a very specific vision, and they absolutely nailed it. They even repainted the aisle the day before to make sure the venue looked fresh. The Kukua team truly goes above and beyond, and you won’t regret trusting them with your special day.

If you’re considering Kukua Beach Club for your wedding, stop hesitating.. you won’t regret it! From start to finish, every detail was taken care of flawlessly, and the staff went above and beyond to make our day stress-free and unforgettable.

Rachel & Mayte were an absolute dream team. Rachel guided us through planning with patience, personalization, and expertise, while Mayte flawlessly executed everything the week of and day of, keeping us relaxed and making the day feel magical. She even helped my little nephew as ring bearer and handled all the bridal suite chaos with ease and grace.

The Kukua staff were professional, kind, and attentive. The food was delicious, perfectly timed, and everyone from the kitchen to the floor worked seamlessly to keep our day flowing. Our 130 guests, ages 1.5 to 85, all had a fantastic time and commented on how smooth, organized, and beautiful the day was.

DJ & MC were incredible, keeping the music and timeline flowing perfectly. Olga Montilla, our hair and makeup artist, was amazing- calm, creative, and made everyone feel stunning. Junior Cruz & his team captured every moment with professionalism and care, giving us beautiful sneak peek photos we’ll treasure forever.

Special touches like a cigar roller, a private cocktail table for us between the ceremony and photos in the bridal suite, and beautiful frames and attention to detail at the welcome table made the day unique and memorable. The flow of the wedding, from cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, cake cutting, to dancing was absolutely seamless and enjoyable for all our guests.

Kukua Beach Club is a hidden gem. Every aspect-the staff, environment, food, decor, and accommodations exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect wedding day, and our guests are still talking about it!

Writing this review gives me a REALITY CHECK! because I just want to keep reliving this planning era! When we began searching for venues, we knew instantly that @Kukua Punta Cana was THE one. It was truly a dream come true!!

Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. To this day, our guests can’t stop talking about how amazing everything was!

Rachel is my forever HOMEGIRL! Seriously, Kukua is beyond lucky to have her and so are we. She was our voice of reason throughout the entire process. My original vision started off “cutesy,” but when I found my true dream vision, Rachel embraced it wholeheartedly and ran with us every step of the way. Her organization, patience, and creativity made planning a destination wedding feel effortless.
VENUE – KUKUA: 1500/10

The venue was absolute perfection! The weather blessed us with a sunny, beautiful (and hot!) day. As with any big event, there were tiny hiccups, but none of it took away from our magical day.
The design and décor were breathtaking, truly a masterpiece. We wanted a “caterpillar-style” setup so all our guests could stay connected and mingle, plus a unique napkin for every place setting. I thought these details would be tough to pull off, but Mayte and her team nailed it. We wanted a colorful palette with colors coordinating the decor on each table, with unique florals and candles matching the vibe.
During our tasting, Mayte surprised us with design elements that brought our vision to life so beautifully. On the wedding day, she even brought me downstairs to check final details because she genuinely wanted to ensure I was beyond happy. Every member of the Kukua team went above and beyond to make sure our guests were cared for and that service remained exceptional all night long.
PHOTO & VIDEO – PHOTO CINE ART 13,000/10

When it came to photography and video, we wanted to tell a story. Milan and his team absolutely delivered! He was like a ninja all day haha! capturing moments from every angle without us even realizing it. The video team coordinated seamlessly with him to create stunning footage.
His wife, Nata, was phenomenal with communication and organization. She even attempted to arrange for us to meet Milan before the big day, though we were able to because we had guest arriving for those days. The final results were everything we dreamed of and more.
CONTENT CREATORS – @MAID OF CONTENT 10/10

We wanted to capture all the small, candid moments, the little details that make memories last a lifetime. Abigail and her team did exactly that. They were so discreet throughout the day, yet somehow managed to capture everything perfectly. All the content was available within 24 hours and she posted on my insta/facebook live for the day. She even made us a wedding folder in my insta bio and stored all our stories there 😊
HAIR & MAKEUP – OLGA MONTILLA (BRIDES BY MONTILLA): 10/10

Olga is a gem! I sent her inspiration photos beforehand, and even when I made last-minute changes on the day of, she adapted flawlessly. My makeup looked incredible and it still held up after our big pool jump!
She was so patient and kind, even accommodating three additional girls just a week and a half before the wedding. My husband also booked a barber (Ronald) through Olga, and he loved his haircut, which says a lot because he’s very particular about his hair.
TRAVEL AGENT – OUR DESTINATION WEDDINGS: 10/10

Carol and Carolisa were wonderful to work with! They were always responsive, detail-oriented, and patient with all our questions (and our guests). When we ran into a resort issue on arrival day, Carol immediately took our call and helped resolve it right away. Their professionalism made travel coordination for nearly 50 guests a breeze.
STAY – PARADISUS PALMA REAL: 8/10

The resort was the perfect size for us and our guests to explore. We had some hiccups with an upgrade request at check-in, but once that was resolved, we absolutely loved our stay.
The grounds were beautiful, the concierge was excellent, and the staff made coordination smooth for our 48 guests. It wasn’t overly crowded, which made the experience even better. We also enjoyed the spa and water therapy experience next door after the wedding, a perfect way to unwind.
CRAZY HOUR: 1000X/10

Worth every single penny! This was one of the highlights of the night. Everyone got up and danced, it was such a joyful celebration of our cultura. The dancers kept us front and center for photos and videos, and the energy was just unreal.
DJ: 8/10

We provided a Spotify playlist ahead of time, though I’m not sure it was fully used outside of our key songs, but the overall vibe was great. The DJ played a lot of Spanish hits that kept the dance floor full. I appreciated that he checked in before playing certain songs (especially the ones that required some serious twerking 😂). Once we gave the go-ahead, the party really took off!
MC & OFFICIANT – ALEJANDRO: 10/10

Alejandro was fantastic! He officiated our ceremony and served as MC for the night, switching seamlessly between English and Spanish. His humor and charm helped calm our nerves and kept everyone engaged. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant, truly a highlight of the night!
Our wedding at Kukua Punta Cana was everything we dreamed of and more. Every vendor went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. If you’re considering a destination wedding, trust the team... I PROMISE YOU, you’ll be in the best hands.

Ok... I know what you're thinking. Am I really about to book a place in a foreign country that you've never seen before. YES, YES YOU ARE. Please just do me a favor and trust all of the reviews like I did. The place is so much more dreamy than even pictures do it justice online. The staff is INCREDIBLE. Rachel, the wedding planner/coordinator is just the most amazing human. She is there for you the entire year before you wedding - planning, questions, and literally anything you can think of that you may need. She will talk you off a ledge or out of doing something silly or outlandish. Her services are included in your wedding process FYI, so you're not shelling out an absurd amount of money don't panic. That is unheard of btw. When you finally come on-site you'll meet Mayte, who is responsible for making the magic come to life the day of, and who you'll meet for your tasting. David is also amazing - he runs your wedding so it's smooth as butter the day of. The owner is also so lovely and... it's a family business which I love. The level of professionalism and responsiveness was above and beyond what I expected. They made what should have been a very stressful year (and day) into an extremely manageable and relatively relaxing experience. All this to say... I had a tropical storm hit on my wedding day. They still did an incredible job in shuffling things around and making it work, while ensuring me that everything was taken care of. The food was amazing. Our tasting felt so special a few days before. The decorations and elaborate nature of our wedding would've easily cost us 100-200k in NY. The best decision we ever made was choosing to have our wedding here. Our guests stayed at Majestic Mirage btw. It wasn't bad, but dreams was our first choice - unfortunately they were all booked up.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kukua! From the first time I talked to Rachel we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding, but the actual experience exceeded every single expectation.

The staff was truly exceptional—professional, attentive, and so so so kind. They made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Every detail, from the setup to the flow of the night, was handled seamlessly, which allowed us to just be present and enjoy every moment.

The venue itself is breathtaking. Our guests are still raving about the stunning views, the elegant décor, and how magical the atmosphere felt. It provided the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and reception romantic, timeless, and unforgettable.

The food and drinks were another highlight. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. So many of our guests told us it was the best meal they’d ever had at a wedding. The tasting is so much fun as well, you really do try EVERYTHING!

What really stood out, though, was the care and personal touches. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything reflected us as a couple. We felt supported every step of the way, and on the wedding day, we were able to just relax and soak in the joy.

If you are looking for a venue that combines beauty, professionalism, and genuine heart, look no further than Kukua. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives, and we owe so much of that to this incredible venue and team. Highly, highly recommend!

I had my wedding there on June 20th and I truly don’t have enough words to express how incredible it was. From start to finish, it was a literal dream. I’m honestly still emotional that it’s over it was that perfect.
Like many brides planning a destination wedding, I was nervous about the unknowns traveling, trusting vendors I’d never met, shuttling guests off resort… but the second we arrived at Kukua, all of that melted away. The venue is STUNNING. The attention to detail is unmatched. It felt like something out of a movie.

Rachel our planner is a true angel. She kept everything organized stress free, and fun. She helped me stay within budget, gave honest advice (even if it meant telling me I didn’t need 1000 appetizers 😂) and was on top of every single detail. Mayte is a QUEEN full of energy and excitement and made the entire process enjoyable. The food tasting with her was an experience in itself, and let me tell you… the food? INSANE. Best wedding food I’ve ever had, and our guests haven’t stopped raving about it.

From the bridal suite (thank GOD for the AC lol) to the fireworks, fire show, cigar rollers, popsicle cart, ring bar, 360 booth, and every magical moment in between Kukua delivered. Every vendor was so easy to communicate with and professional. We felt fully taken care of, and every little detail was elevated.

If you’re considering Kukua for your wedding: RUN, don’t walk. It’s everything you could hope for and more. I’ll be shouting “CHOOSE KUKUA!!!” from the rooftops every time I see someone deciding between a resort and off-site venue.
