About this vendor
Punta Cana Photographer is a destination wedding photography and videography team based in the Dominican Republic, with over 16 years of experience capturing weddings and sessions in the area since 2010. We know Punta Cana inside out: the resorts, the beaches, the light and the rhythm of a destination wedding day.
We shoot weddings in both photo and video, plus engagement and couple sessions, family portraits, proposals, trash the dress sessions and vow renewals. We are an independent team, not a resort's in-house photographer, so you hire us directly and we document your whole day your way, from getting ready in the morning to the last dance of the night.
We work at every major resort and beach in the area, plus off-resort favorites like Kukua Beach Club, Pearl Beach Club, Jellyfish Restaurant and Huracan Cafe, among many others. We also travel to Las Terrenas, Samana, La Romana and across the Dominican Republic.
Our style is relaxed and natural. We guide you with easy direction so you never feel stiff in front of the camera, and we deliver fully edited photos and video, usually within about a month of your wedding. Couples tell us the experience felt fun and effortless, and that the images brought their whole day back to life.

Surprise Proposal photoshoot
The booking process was simple and Tanya provided all the information I could need for the surprise proposal photo shoot, which eased the uncertainty of booking an experience before even being in the country.
Our photographer Matteo took us to an incredible, quiet beach free from sargassum. His calming presence allowed us to feel comfortable throughout despite it being our first photo shoot. Having received our photos we couldn’t be happier. The surprise action shot was played to perfection.
