We absolutely loved having our wedding at PPR and would do it again in a heartbeat. It can be nerve racking planning a wedding so far away and not being able to discuss details in person, but our wedding coordinator, Patricia Rueda, was always so responsive and quelled any fears we may have had! We met with Patricia the day after we arrived for our wedding meeting and did an entire walk through. During our entire stay, she was always available to answer any questions. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and we had the best time!! The wedding set up was perfect and better than we could have imagined. We were very low key and did not do anything too elaborate, so if you want to go that route, Patricia and the vendors will do a fabulous job, seeing how lovely they made ours. Overall, we are so glad we made the choice to host our wedding here and recommend it to anyone else looking to do a destination wedding.

I highly recommend that any couples planning a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic book their special day at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana Resort. The wedding coordination team—Luisa, the director, and my coordinator, Marcibel—were incredibly responsive from day one of planning. They made the entire process less stressful, more organized, and genuinely enjoyable. They scheduled Zoom meetings to review every detail and offered wonderful recommendations for vendors to help create an elevated experience. I never felt alone throughout the planning journey, and I cannot thank Marcibel and her team enough for making my wedding truly extraordinary. Everything exceeded my expectations. Marcibel stayed by my side throughout the entire wedding day to ensure every moment went smoothly, including coordinating with the outside vendors I chose to use. We held our ceremony and cocktail hour on the right side of Macao Beach, and our reception took place at the Seaside Sky Terrace. I was so impressed with how beautifully everything came together. I also appreciated their detailed planning tracker, which kept us updated on progress, ideas, budget, and expectations. Another thoughtful touch was the in-person meeting once we arrived at the resort, where they reviewed the final details to make sure everything I wanted was perfectly noted. Writing this review gives me a REALITY CHECK! because I just want to keep reliving this planning era! When we began searching for venues, we knew instantly that @Kukua Punta Cana was THE one. It was truly a dream come true!! From the start, our vision was to create a joyful, unforgettable celebration with our loved ones, something unique that also honored my beautiful country and cultura as a proud Dominicana. Our wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. To this day, our guests can’t stop talking about how amazing everything was! PLANNER UNIQUELY RACHEL 1000/10 Rachel is my forever HOMEGIRL! Seriously, Kukua is beyond lucky to have her and so are we. She was our voice of reason throughout the entire process. My original vision started off “cutesy,” but when I found my true dream vision, Rachel embraced it wholeheartedly and ran with us every step of the way. Her organization, patience, and creativity made planning a destination wedding feel effortless. VENUE – KUKUA: 1500/10 The venue was absolute perfection! The weather blessed us with a sunny, beautiful (and hot!) day. As with any big event, there were tiny hiccups, but none of it took away from our magical day. The design and décor were breathtaking, truly a masterpiece. We wanted a “caterpillar-style” setup so all our guests could stay connected and mingle, plus a unique napkin for every place setting. I thought these details would be tough to pull off, but Mayte and her team nailed it. We wanted a colorful palette with colors coordinating the decor on each table, with unique florals and candles matching the vibe. During our tasting, Mayte surprised us with design elements that brought our vision to life so beautifully. On the wedding day, she even brought me downstairs to check final details because she genuinely wanted to ensure I was beyond happy. Every member of the Kukua team went above and beyond to make sure our guests were cared for and that service remained exceptional all night long. PHOTO & VIDEO – PHOTO CINE ART 13,000/10 When it came to photography and video, we wanted to tell a story. Milan and his team absolutely delivered! He was like a ninja all day haha! capturing moments from every angle without us even realizing it. The video team coordinated seamlessly with him to create stunning footage. His wife, Nata, was phenomenal with communication and organization. She even attempted to arrange for us to meet Milan before the big day, though we were able to because we had guest arriving for those days. The final results were everything we dreamed of and more. CONTENT CREATORS – @MAID OF CONTENT 10/10 We wanted to capture all the small, candid moments, the little details that make memories last a lifetime. Abigail and her team did exactly that. They were so discreet throughout the day, yet somehow managed to capture everything perfectly. All the content was available within 24 hours and she posted on my insta/facebook live for the day. She even made us a wedding folder in my insta bio and stored all our stories there 😊 HAIR & MAKEUP – OLGA MONTILLA (BRIDES BY MONTILLA): 10/10 Olga is a gem! I sent her inspiration photos beforehand, and even when I made last-minute changes on the day of, she adapted flawlessly. My makeup looked incredible and it still held up after our big pool jump! She was so patient and kind, even accommodating three additional girls just a week and a half before the wedding. My husband also booked a barber (Ronald) through Olga, and he loved his haircut, which says a lot because he’s very particular about his hair. TRAVEL AGENT – OUR DESTINATION WEDDINGS: 10/10 Carol and Carolisa were wonderful to work with! They were always responsive, detail-oriented, and patient with all our questions (and our guests). When we ran into a resort issue on arrival day, Carol immediately took our call and helped resolve it right away. Their professionalism made travel coordination for nearly 50 guests a breeze. STAY – PARADISUS PALMA REAL: 8/10 The resort was the perfect size for us and our guests to explore. We had some hiccups with an upgrade request at check-in, but once that was resolved, we absolutely loved our stay. The grounds were beautiful, the concierge was excellent, and the staff made coordination smooth for our 48 guests. It wasn’t overly crowded, which made the experience even better. We also enjoyed the spa and water therapy experience next door after the wedding, a perfect way to unwind. CRAZY HOUR: 1000X/10 Worth every single penny! This was one of the highlights of the night. Everyone got up and danced, it was such a joyful celebration of our cultura. The dancers kept us front and center for photos and videos, and the energy was just unreal. DJ: 8/10 We provided a Spotify playlist ahead of time, though I’m not sure it was fully used outside of our key songs, but the overall vibe was great. The DJ played a lot of Spanish hits that kept the dance floor full. I appreciated that he checked in before playing certain songs (especially the ones that required some serious twerking 😂). Once we gave the go-ahead, the party really took off! MC & OFFICIANT – ALEJANDRO: 10/10 Alejandro was fantastic! He officiated our ceremony and served as MC for the night, switching seamlessly between English and Spanish. His humor and charm helped calm our nerves and kept everyone engaged. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant, truly a highlight of the night! Our wedding at Kukua Punta Cana was everything we dreamed of and more. Every vendor went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. If you’re considering a destination wedding, trust the team... I PROMISE YOU, you’ll be in the best hands.

From the moment we first visited, we were captivated by the beauty and elegance of the venue. The stunning surroundings and meticulously maintained grounds created a magical atmosphere that made every moment feel like a fairy tale. However, what truly set Casa de Campo apart was the incredible coordination provided by Deborath Leonardo. From our first meeting, Deborath was attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making my daughter's dream wedding come true. Every detail, no matter how small, was handled with care and precision. She was always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and offer creative solutions that made the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the wedding day, Deborath and the entire staff at Casa De Campo exceeded our expectations. Everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without any worries. When we booked Chez Bisutti for our wedding, it hadn’t even opened yet. We waited almost two years for our big day — but it was so worth it. The support we received in Brazil, led by Beatriz, was perfect — I just wish I had met her sooner! She gave us complete confidence that everything would turn out just right. Until our wedding, they hadn’t done any tropical-style décor yet, so I didn’t have high expectations that it would look exactly how I imagined… but I was blown away! The decoration was flawless — and the food and drinks? Absolutely amazing! I would recommend them with my eyes closed!

Everything turned out absolutely amazing despite a small language barrier. This resort went over and above to accommodate every detail in our vision. ERIDANIA my wedding coordinator stayed calm even with my anxiety. Top notch experience!!!! Their in house photography studio made special accommodation to fit our request for specific timeline. Junior and Alberto were the perfect team to get the most perfect images and the attention to every detail to get that perfection was obvious. The couples massage at the spa was just amazing, every night there were activities and shows that made us feel like we in another world. This Resort and everything we experienced was EXCELLENCE.

This was the first time my husband an I had visited an all inclusive resort. We stayed at Excellence El Carmen from 08/28 - 09/04. Their facility is beautiful and their staff is excellent. We have already decided that we want to return as soon as possible.

I loved the the staff and my wedding coordinator Paola was awesome. They made us feel comfortable and secure with the services the provided. The wedding was beautiful and everything was perfect

We got married here April 2024. Prior to deciding on this resort for our wedding, we visited in April 2023 for a site inspection. We were thrilled with the state of the art facilities and amenities. The food was amazing and the staff/customer service was out of this world. I grew up going to Punta Cana and have visited many resorts, but nothing like this. We had 100 guests and we received 0 complaints from my guests regarding the resort and that says a lot. When researching resorts, prices and quality, we wanted the best and we experienced that. I would 10/10 recommend this resort.

This resort was beautiful we had our wedding their and even though the rooms were so far from the dining and beach they had these awesome trains and golf carts that picked people up to take them where they needed to go. The scenery was absolutely amazing it was well manicured, even though food selection was limited for breakfast and lunch dinner was in abundance they had Thai, Dominican, Mexican, French. Seafood, American and a Buffet, Steak and Lobster Grill and Japanese which those had a $39 charge for. Overall our wedding was amazing there and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
