Kristen is AMAZING! She has done our engagement and my bridal shoot so far and I cannot recommend her enough!! She's so fun and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed by working with this girl.

We are so happy that we were able to work with Kristen Garten and her fine staff. Kristen was pleasant throughout a long wedding weekend, and she unflaggingly changed her schedule to accommodate our late requests. She is very knowledgeable about the venue we chose--the Omni Homestead Resort--and she picked a variety of beautiful spots for the pictures. She was very efficient and fast following the service so that family and guests could quickly make their way to the reception. Best of all, the pictures are fantastic! We could not be happier and would readily recommend Kristen to anyone in the area looking for a fantastic event photographer.

Even though we live in Roanoke, VA and our wedding was at Keswick Vineyards in Charlottesville, we wanted to support local businesses from our hometowns whenever we could. Because we knew how highly people spoke of her work, we decided to go with Kristen Garten Photography in Covington for our pictures. Kristen was great from the beginning. For our engagement session(s), she was accommodating with inclement weather (on multiple occasions) and traveled to us to take pictures. She allowed us to shoot at multiple locations throughout the Roanoke Valley; making sure we were relaxed and having fun along the way. For both the engagement and bridal pictures, she was quick to get the pictures back to us and the quality was out of this world. On the day-of, Kristen and her staff was there to walk us through first-look and post-ceremony pictures and did an awesome job with such a large wedding party (18). She was also happy to get shots around the venue that we requested throughout the day. We have seen a few sneak peaks from the wedding and have been blown away thus far. We cannot wait to see the rest and share with family and friends. Thank you Kristen for everything. 5 stars from us!
