DesignsbyBritt was created in an effort to create an outlet for those that want beautiful, authentic and fun stylized candid photojournalistic and editorial style wedding coverage, that is very popular in New York where I trained, but at a more accessible pricing structure. DesignsbyBritt LLC is run entirely by me out of my home studio in Mechanicsville, VA. This is no factory style studio. I cater to your specific needs and I help people bring out their best selves and then I capture it and freeze it in time so that they will always have a tangible reminder of just how incredible they are! What makes me able to do that? It is my ability to connect with people and really engage them so that I may capture their authentic selves in a more radiant way is what I believe makes DesignsbyBritt unique

My name is Brittany Clark-Adams. I grew up in Northern Virginia where I took my first photography course at 12 years old I then moved to New York to attend NYU for college. While in New
York I worked as a visual and graphic artist for a wedding photography company capturing, curating and memorializing hundreds of stylish New York Weddings. My style is editorial and photojournalistic in nature and I adore incorporating vintage filters and black and whites.
I met my husband in New York
and we got married in a beautiful ceremony on the picturesque Long
Island Sound. Not long after the wedding we made the decision to move to
Virginia in the hopes of a slightly less stressful lifestyle. We found it on a sprawling 3 acre farm in Mechanicsville where we raise our two adorable children and I run my home studio.
