Hi I am Brittany and I am the face of DesignsbyBritt! DesignsbyBritt was created in an effort to create an outlet for those that want beautiful, authentic and fun stylized candid photojournalistic and editorial style wedding coverage, that is very popular in New York where I trained, but at a more accessible pricing structure. DesignsbyBritt LLC is run entirely by me out of my home studio in Mechanicsville, VA. This is no factory style studio. I cater to your specific needs and I help people bring out their best selves and then I capture it and freeze it in time so that they will always have a tangible reminder of just how incredible they are! What makes me able to do that? It is my ability to connect with people and really engage them so that I may capture their authentic selves in a more radiant way is what I believe makes DesignsbyBritt unique

Beautiful Engagement and Wedding Photos
Britt was WONDERFUL to work with and even got my photo-shy husband to smile and have fun. Our engagement pictures perfectly captured what we were going for and our wedding photos bring us right back to those beautiful moments again. The photos turned out better than we could have ever imagined.

Absolutely Amazing!
Brittany was absolutely amazing to work with! My husband and I aren’t big photo takers so we were both nervous that we wouldn’t know what to do the day of our wedding but Brittany did such an amazing job directing us while still making the moments feel natural! We had a first look and pictures with our dog and she was AMAZING at getting her attention and snapping amazing photos! In the rush and busyness of a wedding day it was comforting knowing our day was being captured by Brittany. 10/10!!

DesignsbyBritt was very organized and therefore the timing of pictures was right on target.
Our wedding was wonderful. Brittany captured the both sides of the family pictures by stating who should stay and get their pictures so we were not missing people. Obviously her experience helped get the essential pictures so that we then began celebrating. Her uniqueness in getting the unique shot was so appreciated.

Brittany is very professional and knowledgeable. She is very personable and adapted to our small family wedding. She exceeded our expectations with the beautiful photographs of our special day. I couldn't love her work any more than I do. I highly recommend her for your special day. Brittany is very easy to talk to. She had such wonderful ideas for photographs. Our wedding was in January of this wear.
