Knickerbocker Mansion is a historic wedding venue located in the heart of the Inland Empire in Big Bear Lake, California. Nestled in the mountainous San Bernardino National Forest, this lodge provides a magical woodland setting for special occasions. The log manor was built in 1920 and was fully renovated and restored in 2017 as an event venue. It boasts retro charm and modern amenities and is a tranquil spot to take the next step forward in your love story.
Facilities and Capacity
Knickerbocker Mansion sits on two and a half acres of land that is just a four-minute walk from the city of Big Bear Lake. The property features three homes, including the Mansion, the Carriage House, and the Residence, that can accommodate up to 33 for overnight accommodations. The Mansion’s 800-square-foot Mansion Suite is furnished with three king-sized beds, while its basement Man Cave has an air hockey table and a bar. In addition, the Mansion comes with a large living room, a spacious kitchen, and a dining room that seats 43 people. Outside, this house is attached to a covered patio with a barbecue and an outdoor patio that can hold 75 guests. Here, you and your loved ones can dine and dance late into the night while the stars twinkle above you. Ceremonies and receptions can also be set up on the Turf Lawn or the Courtyard, which features lawn games, a fire pit, and even a jacuzzi.

The team at Knickerbocker Mansion is delighted to help you plan and execute the wedding of your wildest dreams. To help facilitate this, they provide a Bridal Suite in the Residence, where you can get ready with your wedding party in seclusion and style. The venue also offers a number of other amenities that will make your big day memorable, including well-equipped catering kitchens and a Game Building. This 1,500-square-foot Game Building houses a movie theater, a pool table, a ping pong table, and a small gym. In addition, the surrounding area has numerous opportunities for recreational activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing, depending on the season. You and your guests will also find shopping in Big Bear Lake and easy access to Snow Summit.
