Meghan and Kim planned my entire wedding from start to finish and did a tremendous job! I could not have asked for better planners. Any and every idea I had, they executed without question, and provided me multiple options and pricing when it came to those ideas. They organized every meeting between myself and the vendor, and if I couldn't go to the vendor, they brought the vendor to them and provided me a private showing at their office. They will literally do everything in their power to make you happy. My budget was $20,000.00 and they charged me 10% of expenses, which ended up being just shy of $2000.00. It may seem a bit pricey, but they do offer payment plans and do a lot of work for the little amount of money they make over a long period of time. I had met with other vendors who charged around 20% of expenses, so I took 10% over 20% anyday and my results were well were the cost. You know what they say, you get what you pay for. I've recommended Meghan & Kim to all of my engaged friends and so far they've been hired by at least one.
On the flip side to all the many, and I mean the many, they only work with one florist (or they did at the time) and the florist (St. Cloud Florist) gave us a good deal because we were working with KM Events, but at the same time, some variety would've been appreciated. I guess in retrospect I should have vocalized my request and concerns. Oh well, lesson learned, and my centerpieces and bouquets were GORGEOUS and worth every penny.
They also were a little slow initially responding, which I was told was because I was calling a cell phone that didn't have good service inside. Everytime after that, however, they answered when I called, or called me back immediately - so there is a definitely plus side to this negative. It was literally a one time experience.
All in all, KM Events did an amazing job with my wedding. I didn't have to worry about a thing and was in awe of everything they pulled off in the six month period I gave them.
