Kit Carson Lodge is a beautifully rustic lakeside wedding venue in Sacramento, California. For nearly 100 years, guests have enjoyed the rustic simplicity of this historic lodge.

Facilities and Capacity

All cabin accommodations at Kit Carson Lodge have been built using cedar wood with knotty pine interiors and can sleep from two to eight people. Each cabin features a private bath and an extensive outdoor decking for couples and their guests to sit and enjoy the stunning lakeside views. Towering pines on all sides surround the intimate forest chapel and offer a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. Taking advantage of this setting for wedding pictures is an absolute must. Kit Carson Lodge has a capacity of 111 persons for a buy-out wedding celebration, meaning the only people on site will be members of the wedding party. All guests are welcome to stay on the property for three days and two nights, so there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy the incredible sights and surroundings.

Kit Carson Lodge includes a general store, art gallery, and full-service restaurant to provide a remarkable dining experience. Couples can speak directly with the new head chef, Chris Jones, and choose a mouthwatering wedding menu that will appeal to all guests. Chris graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and has run restaurants in New York, Chicago, Vail, and New Orleans before purchasing his own place in North Carolina. The staff at Kit Carson Lodge are ready to help in any way they can to ensure a peaceful, romantic, and memorable stay.
