The Ranch at Stoney Creek, a venue located in Somerset, California, is the perfect place to have the wedding of your dreams! Pony Express Lodge turned Miner's Camp turned B & B and finally a Destination Wedding Location on 67 acres of ancient oaks, rolling vineyards, historic barns and lodges and sprawling meadows all backed by the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains. The Ranch features cozy accommodations including several B & B style rooms as well as small and group campgrounds.

Our 67 acre "slice of heaven" will be exclusively yours for your wedding weekend. We have multiple scenic ceremony locations, a large grassy meadow for the reception dinner and the historic barn features a bar and dessert table area, comfortable seating and an outdoor dance floor. We have an in-house Design and Coordination on hand to help you in realizing your dream wedding vision. Additionally, we have an enormous selection of rental items including all manner of tables, chairs, furniture, dishes, floral and decor.

Property amenities include: 3 vineyards, 67 acres of private nature trails, 6 ponds, canoe, catch and release fishing, organize vegetable and flower gardens, pasture chickens and goats, private path to Charles B. Mitchell winery, proximity to 40+ wineries, and pure artesian spring water.

Facilities and Capacity

This venue is ideal for outdoor weddings and can comfortably host up to 200 guests. The Ranch is a 67 acre private property which features gorgeous bed and breakfast rooms as well as a small group campground. Venue amenities include:

Services Offered

An experienced Coordination and Design Team that caters to a couple’s vision and requests. This team will work with a couple’s vendors to coordinate a stress-free and smooth event that reflects the wedding couples unique vision. They provide long wooden farm tables and picnic-like benches to complement the country-feel. Other services include:

  • In-house Coordination and Design Team
  • Enormous selection of In-house rental items

Accommodation

Bed and Breakfast style accomodations for 12 as well as a bring your own tent campground which can accommodate up to 80 guests, trailers up to 26' or motorhomes up to 30'. Room details are:

  • Fully remodeled Bridal Suite with private deck
  • Three bedroom three bath Lake House with two private decks and views of the pond, a fully equipped kitchen, a shaded patio
  • Secluded Zinfandel room with it's own private patio

The Ranch is the best!

The Ranch at Stoney Creek is truly amazing. Michelle is truly a force of nature, not only was she our wedding coordinator, helped with all of the décor (that we were able to rent on site), helped manage all of our vendors, and provided recommendations and advice, but she also handled our floral arrangements and they were so BEAUTIFUL. Her staff was incredibly helpful and so sweet. Michelle and Sarah were able to set my mind at ease and truly let me focus on the best day of my life. I cannot recommend the Ranch enough.

Absolutely Amazing!

If you want a venue that does it all & does it perfectly then this is the place! My husband & I were looking for a venue that was elegant yet still captured our love for the outdoors & the Ranch was perfect for just that! From providing rentals, decor, coordinators, florists, & more.. they genuinely do it all! The owners & staff were amazing throughout the wedding planning process & made sure everything went smoothly our entire wedding weekend! We really can’t thank Michelle & her amazing team enough for making our day so special & we wish we could do it all over again! We would highly recommend this wedding venue to any couple who is interested in celebrating their love out in the redwoods under the stars with their favorite people!

HIGHLY Recommend The Ranch at Stoney Creek

We HIGHLY recommend The Ranch at Stoney Creek. This venue is absolutely beautiful and offers so many different options. The staff make your experience feel like one-of-a-kind and not just another wedding number for them to get through. From the attention to detail to the talented staff members, this venue will pull off your wedding vision and blow your guests away. The owners, Leon and Michelle, are extremely kind, hard working, and so talented. Michelle is a renowned designer and you will be lucky to get the chance to work with her. Our guests were blown away with the decorations, flowers, tables, etc. We also highly recommend their daughter, Melissa Gayle, for photography. Her bubbly personality, solid communication skills, and creativity made the day of experience so much fun, but also very smooth. Her photography is truly a work of art!!!

Overall, we HIGHLY recommend this venue! We loved having the three day package and having so many options to choose from. The staff are just amazing and make the whole experience! We feel beyond lucky we found this place. Our guests were truly amazed and continue to talk about the venue!!
