I honestly can’t say enough good things about Kir. Kir captured my surprise proposal and from the very beginning, she brought such an amazing energy that immediately put me at ease. My fiancee and I always feel so awkward taking pics, but she made the whole experience feel natural and fun.

She was incredibly professional throughout the entire process, but also so warm and kind during and after the special day. She's just so sweet. That balance of professionalism and sweetness is rare, and she absolutely nailed it.

HIRE KIR - it will be the best decision you make while wedding planning. My husband and I can't thank Kir enough. She photographed our proposal, additional engagement photos, and our wedding (more than 2000 photos!). Every single photo she's taken for us could be framed and put on our wall. Kir is an incredibly talented photographer, support system, and natural leader wrapped into one. She makes everyone in front of the camera feel so comfortable and it shows in her images.

During our wedding day, Kir and her team seamlessly led our large bridal party and family groups through multiple location changes. Everyone came to us after the wedding gushing about how incredible the photography team was at leading everyone through the day and making it run so smoothly.

I have so many stories I could tell about Kir but one of my favorites is from our engagement shoot at the Jefferson Memorial. We went at sunrise so there would be less of a crowd and good lighting. As we got there we were surprised to see a lot of people in uniforms along with dogs and drums gathering around and lining up on the steps of the monument. It turned out that the Army Old Guard was also having a photo session there that morning. Kir calmly worked around the increasingly large group to take photos around the monument, you would never know there were 200+ other people gathering around that morning. As we were taking our final photos in front of the monument, the Old Guard asked if we wanted to join them for a photo - we shared a laugh, connected with each other, and now have a large group photo all together. Kir's professionalism and attitude really shone that day.

It has been an honor to have Kir capture so many beautiful memories for us.

Ker is 10/10. We used her to capture our engagement and she made the moment so memorable and calm in what was such a happy and overwhelming experience! We had just met her and she felt like a friend, making us forget we were even taking photos. Her edits are timeless. She gives direction in a way that hypes you up and makes you feel like your best. Wow wow wow wow wow. In the DMV area, there are a lot of very talented photographers, but Kir is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! I was recommended to her from some friends and family, and when I saw her photos I was blown away. Her timeless style is exactly what we were looking for, and we knew that she would capture memories for Eric and I for a lifetime. Along with being a talented photographer, she’s just the coolest human who was a perfect addition to our wedding day and made us feel so comfortable as we had no idea what we were doing. She is calming in nature and when needed, she steps up and provides direction for how to pose while in other instances she captures the real candid moments of the day. She is very clear and fair with pricing and if you are on the fence please book your wedding day with her ASAP!!!!

I have been a bridesmaid in many weddings and met many wedding photographers. Many are good at the basics - wrangling family members, editing pictures, etc. Kir is excellent at all those tasks, and also, genuinely so nice and fun. If you had no bridesmaids you liked you would still have an amazing time getting ready with her as your photographer. She captured the personality of us as a couple, our dog, our goofy friends, perfectly. She was flexible on what we needed for our wedding and we loved everyone on her team we worked with. 11/10 would recommend.
