Facilities and Capacity
King’s Court Castle’s Wedding Chapel, located in the Canterbury Village, provides a stunning, picturesque and elegant place for you and your significant other to become official newlyweds. Here, exposed wooden beams, linen-covered chairs, and a painstakingly crafted stain-glass feature window all combine to create a lovely ambiance. In the chapel you can say ‘I do’ and be joined in matrimony by your favorite officiant as your guests watch on, no doubt getting emotional as the moment unfolds.
Thanks to resplendent and opulent banquet hall settings, everyone can come together to share in the festivities as morning and afternoon shift towards evening and night. In fact, there are three separate reception spaces available. Entering inside, the happy couple is greeted by the lobby, complete with grand wooden staircase. Inside the halls, tables and chairs can easily be arranged to accommodate the happy couple and their guests. The interior is embellished by glinting chandeliers, cream colors on the walls, wooden paneling, and wood flooring. When adorned with floral centerpieces, colorful linens, and the chatter of your friends and family, these historic banquet halls truly come to life.
Away from the banquet halls, on one of the lawn spaces, the charming gazebo can be used for your ceremony.
The maximum capacity of King's Court Castle is 250, while the minimum amount of guests required to book the venue is 20. So, the venue is clearly well suited to both intimate and larger celebrations.
An event planner can help you to choreograph and organize your celebration on your behalf so that everything runs smoothly and turns out as planned. Get-ready rooms are also available for the couple and guests to make use of. Onsite parking can be made use of, while the venue is also wheelchair accessible.
A banquet menu can be availed of for those who book their wedding at King’s Court Castle. Offering catering styles such as buffet, family-style, and plated, they can accommodate a wide range of requests as well as serving award-wining cuisine. They are also able to supply the china, flatware, glassware, and linens to add to the convenience of the venue.

The event staff at Kings Court Castle in Canterbury Village did a nice job of making sure everything went smoothly for our wedding ceremony, held at the chapel on site, as well as our reception, held in the Knights Head Hall. The food was delicious and the hall and village were decorated nicely for the Christmas season. Our guests gave us many compliments on the choice of venue and we would recommend Kings Court Castle to anyone.Sent on 12/29/2015

This was our most flawless vendor. We never had any issues with them, from our initial tour to our wedding night. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and I say that as a professional event planner. The food was delicious, the venue was gorgeous, and every staff member was attentive and friendly. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding, and if I have the chance to work with them again I will.Sent on 11/30/2018

I couldn’t have chose a better venue for my wedding. It was beautiful with the wood work, hard wood floors, and chandeliers. The staff was easy to work with and attentive if I needed anything. The food was amazing! The ceremony and reception in one location made everything super convenient for my guests! There’s a pub, Christmas shops, a carousel for kids, and an amazing Made in Michigan shop my guests explored while waiting for my reception. I will definitely recommend the Castle to anyone I know that is getting married or looking to host an eventSent on 12/06/2018
Over the years I have performed many wedding ceremonies at the Kings Court Castle.. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. The inside the castle is elegant. The chapel is quaint and a bit rustic but, WOW, the vintage stained glass wall that frames the wedding riser is magnificent! When booking the site, one thing to remember is that it is pretty much left up to the couple and the officiant to organize the "Who does what by when"s of the ceremony. Select a well experienced officiant familiar with the site. (Like me! :-)) By selecting the King's Court Castle, you can't go wrong! Feel free to call me for a reference!
