Fairy Tale Wedding
I was just married at King's Court Castle on September 14, 2019! The wedding venue was perfect as is, minimal decor needed with the natural beauty of the building. Food was amazing!!!!! And my guest are still raving a week later at how beautiful the day was. -

Absolutely Stunning
I couldn’t have chose a better venue for my wedding. It was beautiful with the wood work, hard wood floors, and chandeliers. The staff was easy to work with and attentive if I needed anything. The food was amazing! The ceremony and reception in one location made everything super convenient for my guests! There’s a pub, Christmas shops, a carousel for kids, and an amazing Made in Michigan shop my guests explored while waiting for my reception. I will definitely recommend the Castle to anyone I know that is getting married or looking to host an event -

Incredible Kylie
This was our most flawless vendor. We never had any issues with them, from our initial tour to our wedding night. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and I say that as a professional event planner. The food was delicious, the venue was gorgeous, and every staff member was attentive and friendly. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding, and if I have the chance to work with them again I will. -

We recently had our wedding at kings court. We had both the ceremony and reception and it worked out perfectly. Kylie was responsive to all our emails and questions. They had our room set up days in advance. We were able to start decorating the day before and had all day the day of to decorate our room. The food was served on time, the staff was very attentive and helpful. there are tons of great spots throughout cantebury village for photos! We also had yates dropped off and the staff and kings court put it out for us as a late night snack!
Thank you so much kylie for giving us such a great day! -

My wedding at Kings Court Castle was perfect from start to finish. Kylie made the booking process so easy and was there to answer every question since then up to my wedding day! She was great to work with and very quick to respond! We had our rehearsal dinner in the pub on site. It was casual with a pizza buffet which is exactly what we wanted! The ceremony was in the chapel. The chapel needs little to no work when it comes to the day of the wedding. It came fully furnished with chair covers. I just added a runner and flowers and it was beautiful! The reception was in one of the all wood rooms upstairs! Our colors looked amazing with the wood as any color would! The staff was attentive and friendly!!! The food was delicious and still steaming hot even after everyone made it through the buffet! The bar didn’t run out of alcohol like other weddings I’ve been to! Everything was perfect. I highly recommed this venue!!! -

Kings Court Castle was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. I knew when I got engaged that King's Court was the first one my list for wedding venues, it took one look and we were sold. The staff there went out of their way to make our day incredible. From the ceremony and reception planning to the day of our wedding, everything went perfectly. The staff made sure that every little detail was taken care of. Our reception ball room was beautiful, giving us the romantic style we were going for. Kings Court Castle has a beautiful antique feel; with the hardwood floors, and breath taking chandeliers, there was no need for extra decorating. . The food was delicious, I was impressed that many of my guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had!! Canterbury village was the perfect location for us to take our wedding pictures. Every inch of the property provides a photo worthy backdrop. All of our guests enjoyed the village while waiting for the reception doors to open. The carousel was such a fun photo session! The wedding coordinator Kylie was so helping in accommodating us with any and all requests from special meals to special drinks for our guests!!! Everything we asked for we got and they even offered things we never thought to ask for. Would definitely recommend this to any bride looking for a unique, gorgeous and affordable wedding venue!

When we began our wedding planning, our first stop was King’s Court Castle and after a bit of searching around, we decided the castle was just our style. The staff was excellent and really made our experience one to remember. The banquet staff and manager were both helpful and extremely professional. Our vendors even complimented the staff on their professionalism. Overall we were really impressed with our experience and have recommended the space to many of our now engaged friends. -

The event staff at Kings Court Castle in Canterbury Village did a nice job of making sure everything went smoothly for our wedding ceremony, held at the chapel on site, as well as our reception, held in the Knights Head Hall. The food was delicious and the hall and village were decorated nicely for the Christmas season. Our guests gave us many compliments on the choice of venue and we would recommend Kings Court Castle to anyone.

We had our ceremony at the chapel at Kings Court, it is a lovely little chapel and it was just perfect for our wedding. What sold us on this venue was the carrousel, it provided such beautiful pictures! It also helped that we received a discount for booking our reception site at their sister site Indianwood. -

I want to start by thanking Crystal, Brittany and Thomas for making our wedding day and night an amazing magical experience. Not only did we feel like we received the best customer service around, we were treated like family! We originally booked our wedding with Crystal (who was promoted to Indianwood) and without skipping a beat Brittany was there and extremely attentive with all of our wants and needs. Most would be nervous with a change in coordinators but it was actually another professional we could count on to make our day that much easier. The communication and ideas the staff provided was beyond exceptional! The chapel, landscape and all of the natural beauty in the castle make for such breathtaking photos we couldn't have asked for anything more. I got married in spring but any time of year this venue would make for such a romantic ambiance, one that every bride should experience on her wedding day! The food was great and the King Richard room was a wonderful place with access to the outside for a nice breath of fresh air after dancing the night away. Our guests got to enjoy the C-Pub while waiting for cocktail hour. After hearing nothing but everyone having such a great time, I can't recommend this place enough! A true five star all around! -

We had a Saturday evening wedding at Canterbury. We used the chapel for the ceremony, the grounds for pictures, and the banquet hall for the reception. Everything went very smoothly. The event coordinator had changed a few times since we booked, but there was never a drop in communication or information. My questions were answered promptly and fully. The room was set up exactly as we had requested, the food was good, the appetizers were amazing, and we were able to accomplish it all while working within my budget. I was extremely happy with how professionally Canterbury handled the planning and execution of my wedding, and I would use them again.
Also, we used the Canterbury Yates location for the favors (fudge bites) and the midnight snack (donuts). Arranging both was so easy and enjoyable. The Canterbury Yates staff went above and beyond, using their creativity to fulfill our requests and providing prompt replies to all my questions. I would definitely use them again, and would encourage anyone who wants favors and a midnight snack that guests will rave about to talk to Yates! -

Kings Court Castle was one of the first things my husband and I decided on for our wedding. Walking through the doors takes your breath away as you stare at two winding staircases up to their ballrooms. We knew our guests would be blown away by the architecture and ambience of the venue. We also loved that Kings Court was on the grounds of Canterbury Village so between the ceremony and reception our guest could spend time in the village shops. Working with the staff at Kings Court was very easy. They were very helpful and communicated every item diligently with us through the process. Crystal made the planning process smooth. My husband, family, guests and I had the best time celebrating our day at Kings Court and would recommend this venue to every new bride and groom.

Thank you to Crystal and all the staff at Kings Court Castle. Every one was a joy to work with. From the receptionists, servers, bar tenders, clean up crew, you name it they were helpful, pleasant and friendly. My Daughter and Son in laws wedding will always be remember as a very fun, special, blessed event and this venue was all a part of that. The picture opportunities were amazing (outside lights at night, Carousal in the Christmas Store, Staircase). The food was excellent specially the chicken. The new wood floors looked great. We couldn't be more pleased, I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a memorable event. As a side note, the wedding was on the same day as October fest we were a little concerned about outside music interfering with the wedding and lack of parking. NO Problem at all. We never heard outside music and they made sure all our guests had ample parking. :) -

I cannot express how GREAT of a venue this place is! I received compliments all night long about this place! There are so many places around the grounds for pictures and I loved that I had my ceremony in their Chapel, which is on the same property as the reception. It was fabulous! Crystal in the office did such a great job helping me thru the months leading up to the wedding, putting my mind at ease about everything. Dave, the events manager that night, did a fantastic job getting the hall ready and switching out a table when I asked him to. Everything went GREAT!!!
I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone planning a wedding. Their prices are fantastic and they just take care of their wedding couples so well! :)

King's Court Castle was the perfect choice for our wedding. I felt like a princess getting married in a castle! Linda was such a joy to work with, she made sure everything was coordinated and ran smoothly, so I was not a frantic bride on my wedding day. We also used their chapel there to get married in and it was just gorgeous. I loved the stained glass windows!!! -

We have received so much positive feedback on both our wedding ceremony at the Chapel at Canterbury Village and the reception at Kings Court Castle that we know we made a very wise decision when we decided to use this venue for our wedding event.
From the very professional staff that made sure every need was taken care of and that the wishes of the bride were satisfied, to the beauty of the venue itself, you will not be disappointed if you choose this venue.
Every guest complimented on the wonderful appearance and wonderful food. Canterbury Village is both unique and romantic. We highly recommend this venue. You will be very happy with this choice. -

What a gorgeous location for a wedding!! I knew upon getting engaged that King's Court was at the tip top of my list for wedding venues, it took one look and we were sold! The chapel is wonderful with a beautiful stained glass window as the backdrop for the altar and the reception rooms are so unique and decorative from the hanging chandeliers to the antique carved furniture, I couldn't dream something better. The staff was great to work with so flexible and accomodating to our needs and wants. And the food, oh the food, it was so unlike typical wedding fare. It was delicious, I could eat an entire plate of those mashed potatoes! Would definitely recommend this to any bride looking for a unique, gorgeous and affordable wedding venue! -

Absoulutely beautiful grounds, in summer the flowers were gorgous and in winter the christmas lights were stunning ( I had been there several times throughout the seasons looking and planning). Had a great experience at King's court. Received numerous comments from our guests about how lovely the grounds were! My ceremony was at their on site wedding chapel and my reception was right next door! The food was great and Angela was very easy to work with! Overall, extremely pleased with both my wedding and reception! -

My wife and I used King's Court Castle for both our wedding ceremony and reception. There is a charming wedding chapel on-site in case you haven't been there. It was very convenient to have the wedding and reception on the same campus. Between the services our guests could do some shopping at Canterbury Village or get primed at the Clansmen Pub. The King's Court staff were very helpful and attentive. There were no errors or mistakes made. Everything was transparent and executed to our specifications. We used the King Henry Room for our reception; the cathedral ceilings and woodwork were beautiful. The steaks were generous in portion and professionally prepared. The wait staff did a great job. They know what they're doing at King's Court Castle.
We had our rehearsal dinner at the Clansmen Pub, a stone's throw from the wedding chapel. The food was excellent and we had the use of a private room for no extra charge.
The only negatives (and they were minor) involved the wedding chapel. First, the ceremony stage floor is in need of renovation. Second, the piano was out of tune. We didn't realize this until the rehearsal so bad on us. Fortunately our pianist was able to compensate. Did the guests notice either of these? No. Everything turned out fine. It was a lovely wedding. -

My first decision was on our venue: I wanted it indoors, so we didn't have to worry about weather/contingency planning, and I wanted the ceremony and reception in one place. I found all of that at King's Court Castle, with the bonus of having something for guests to do during pictures (since it is right in Canterbury Village, a little tourist town).
I fell in love with this place when we toured it. We checked a couple other venues, but they were just disappointing.
The event coordinator wasn't always as responsive as I wanted (read: same day, preferably immediately ;), but usually I would get a response within a couple days, at least, so it wasn't terrible. She did a TERRIFIC job managing the day, and everything went like clockwork. We weren't bothered with anything; we just got to enjoy the day! The staff were very professional and attentive, and the location is beautiful, which was great for pictures!
I thought it was a great value for the price (although I did spend about 3/4 of my budget to get this place, so I had a mini heart attack when I was reassessing my budget). Knowing the likelihood of my family to stress out about things, I thought it would be so much nicer to just have everything in one package, so we didn't have to DIY so many things (food, linens, etc.), and it ended up being WELL worth it. -

Had a wonderful experience at kings court! Had my ceremony in the wedding chapel and my reception at the banquet facility (which is a 30 second walk from the chapel), I loved the fact that my guest never had to leave the facility once there! Their professionalism and service were excellent! My wedding day definitely exceeded my expectations, would definitely recommend! Note- worked with Angela and she was fabulous! -

King's Court Castle is perfect for the fairy tale wedding. The first time we saw the venue we knew it was perfect for the vision we had of our wedding day. The staff was friendly, energetic and always willing to answer any questions. The event planners we worked with made sure all of our questions were answered and that we were happy with all of the details before the big day. They made it easy for our family to come early to set up and made sure everything was taken care of. We would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in this area! KCC made the reception perfect and gave us a beautiful place to take pictures beforehand. -

My experience at King's Court Castle was amazing. I had my ceremony in the chapel on site and then had my wedding in the King Henry room. It turned out beautiful. Angela was a pleasure to work with. Anytime I e-mailed her she got right back to me. The night of my wedding there was another wedding so poor Angela was back and forth but for the most part she tried to make sure everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a one stop shop. It was great that my guests didn't have to drive from one location to another. -

I couldn't have asked for a better wedding!
Angela out at Canterbury Castle was incredible. She helped us through the entire process from booking/securing the venue for our special day in August of '22, to helping us the day of, in September of '23!! My husband and I were searching for a long while looking for somewhere unique, maybe a little nerdy, and cool for our wedding venue. This was the best service ever, and I keep hearing about how much everyone enjoyed themselves! Some parts of CC need a little renovating, but all in all it was old, fairly clean, fun, and just incredible. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a wedding or event that no guest will forget. -

During our year and a half engagement we worked with a few different people from KCC. We found KCC to have the best pricing for the type of venue and for the geographical area. We liked that there is an onsite chapel so our guests only had 1 location. The grounds are beautiful and make a great backdrop for photos.
We did have some hiccups. The piano was not tuned and we had both a piano player and soloist for our ceremony. So that was a bummer. When we started setting up the hall the morning of the wedding the tables were not ready for us but it was resolved quickly. We also didn't receive our afterglow, but we're not super mad about that because so many of our guests had already left for the evening.
We will say the food is good, lots of our guests enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were really helpful throughout the night. If you have Gluten free, or vegetarian/vegans, the options are nice and our guests appreciated the dinner was accommodating to their needs.
Our day was beautiful and while there were hiccups I'm still very happy with our choice to use KCC. -

King’s Court Castle is an absolutely wonderful place to get married! The chapel is beautiful. We used King Richards Hall for the reception and it was the perfect setting! In between the ceremony and reception, Canterbury Village is a lovely place to explore and hang out! Almost every guest I spoke with raved about the convenience of having the ceremony and reception so close in such a fun place to spend the downtime (cider and donuts while waiting? Yes please!). It’s also a great place for photographs! We chose the affordable elegance buffet and it was delicious and well priced! They made plenty for everyone! Several guests had special dietary needs. We needed a child’s meal, a vegetarian meal, a vegan meal, and a few gluten free meals. The kitchen prepared the special meals (at no extra cost) and brought them to the tables. We had each person thank us, tell us their meal was delicious, and rave that they’ve never been to a wedding that was so considerate of their diet restrictions. King’s Court Castle made that extremely easy. We also had the late night taco bar and everyone loved it!!
There was a fairly big mistake (something didn’t get served) which is why I unfortunately can’t give 5 stars, but they owned up to it, apologized profusely, and refunded us that portion of the bill and a portion of the service charge. It was such an awesome wedding that even with a few mistakes (which no one else noticed), I recommend them! -

Overall I had a good experience. I feel like there was a lot of miscommunication where I thought I was getting one thing and it turned out to be different. My biggest issue was how much I had to do setting up for the reception, but that was partly poor planning on my part since I didn't ask enough questions when I booked. I just felt like they should have been more upfront with what services they offer and what they don't. The food was average, my only complaint would be the lack of options for vegan and gluten free meals. One of my bridesmaids has celiac disease and she ended up eating the same meal for the rehearsal dinner and at the wedding, and it was just a plate of vegetables. -

If you're looking for a winter or christmas venue this place is it! The entire place both inside and out take on a wonderful magical feeling. We appreciated that we were able to have the ceremony and reception in one location but two separate spaces/buildings. There was tons for our guests to do between the ceremony and reception which definitely helped with planning and everyone's excitement.
We ended up working with 3 different event managers which made things complicated. Each person we worked with had their own ideas - had I not been an event manager by trade it may have been more frustrating. The first manager we worked with discussed specific things with us that would be done and when the final manager began working with us she said they weren't possible.
Fast forward to the night of and Crystal was AMAZING! We had some hiccups with the table setups from what I had originally sent in and Crystal made sure everything was perfect throughout the whole night. The staff carrying out the day is what saved our experience. GREAT JOB! -

I have to start off by saying Crystal, their banquet manager deserves a raise. Absolutely sweet, helpful, accommodating, professional, went above and beyond to make our night special. The waitstaff was prompt, helpful, and had great personalities. Prices were affrodable, food was great, drinks were perfect, ambience was stunning and was exactly what we wanted.
But I do digress. The front staff was absent, inconsistant, and smiled and agreed and never delivered on promises. Their turn over rate makes planning difficult going through several event coordinators, information was not relay to the next event coordinator properly. When planning rehearsal dinner, we felt the event coordinator only smiled agreed to plans, never really knowing the ways the kitchen opperated. We never even met the final event coordinator. We do understand conflicting schedules, but to never be approached by her on our actual day was rude. No support during rehearsal with sound system. Only a piece of paper with instructions that were not correct. Chapel bathroom absolutely digesting. We voiced our concerns regarding cleanliness, only to hear the excuse that it was not mopped today. The bathroom had several urine piles dried. This was not a one day issue. The day we set up our hall, all front desk staff was missing for over an hour with no way to contact employees to allow us to set up, setting us behind. Worst part was they were anticipating our arrival.
Overall the back staff was amazing. Front staff needs work. Or checks and balances. -

The food was absolutely amazing for the rehearsal dinner and reception, but the venue (grill downstairs and chapel) was not vacuumed and was embarrassing for me as the bride. I had the King Henry room for my reception, and had asked the manager the night before if the light bulbs that were not working in the hall could be replaced so it looked a bit nicer, and he said they would, but they weren't. The candles on my tables were not lit before my guests had arrived, like I had asked them to be, and then when I asked them to be lit during my reception after I had arrived, the staff had told me that they couldn't light them due to them being a fire hazard. The candles were the main part of my arrangements so this had angered me a bit. -

The venue was a beautiful backdrop for our wedding and the food was good, however the dinner service was not what we expected. The waiters were perfect but their boss/kitchen supervisor was extremely rude and embarrassed a good portion of our guests. The coordinator was great to work with! Be cautious when selecting them as a vendor, know what to expect and read the reviews carefully. Our experience may have been a one time thing, but our wedding reception was a blast no matter the drama. -

You get what you pay for
While the prices and packages are affordable we had several issues with this venue from start to finish. In the beginning there were several mix ups with our appointment time for a menu tasting, because we weren't going to book a venue before trying food as my husband is a chef. While they gave us a few price breaks for the mix ups it should have been a warning sign to us. Closer to the wedding date, there was a lot of scrambling to get our list turned in and the prices completed for payment. Then when my father called to bring the payment he is told the receptionist cannot accept it. All still pretty small things. We were told we could get in at 10 am the day of the wedding to set up and decorate the reception hall and chapel. While that was wonderful, when we pay a cleaning fee as did everyone else, it was a shock what my bridesmaids walked into. The reception hall was trashed, there were buckets to catch water dripping from the ceiling. Floor was dirty, trash was everywhere under tables, on window sills, on tables, etc. No skirting was even ready on the head table and some of the table cloths were dirty even. The chapel also needed to be vacuumed and cleaned. Thankfully I never heard a word of it until after the wedding because my bridesmaids didn't want me to worry. Once the day started, everything was going pretty well and I was just ecstatic to be marrying my best friend. That is when the other issues arose, which when I brought to the event planners attention after I was told there was nothing they could do and sorry for your luck basically. Now, at venues that have multiple halls wedding crashing is possible. Not only did we have wedding crashers but thieves. They came in and used the photo booth, stole the guys props, helped themselves to my open bar and walked off each time they left with cake. I put a stop to them myself and my bridal party went on the hunt for ANY staff members period. Now, when you are paying $80 a person plus some for a bar, food, etc it is very irritating that others can hop in and just help themselves because their wedding "wasn't as fun" as they told my husband. All in all it is a pretty good venue, but you get what you pay for. The customer service and accommodations just aren't really there in concerns to really paying attention to details and making sure its clean and ready for the next event. Communication is also poor between most people there so it is just a mess across the board for things like that. I was happy with my day but shocked with the lack of care and concern from the venue about holding up their end of matters. It felt kind of like
"well we got your money already so tough". -

My wedding was planned in only a few months. While the coordinator seemed very accommodating and professional at first, there was a disastrous incident on my wedding day, which called for a lot of drama. I arranged to have an intimate reception in the loft area above the Pub located near Kings Court Castle. My bridesmaids encountered a swarm of hornets in the loft as they were setting up on the morning of our wedding day. From what I heard, it took one of my bridesmaids a lot of effort (phone calls, arguing, negotiating) to get the manager to accommodate our party in time. If it weren't for that, nothing would have been done for me, and my big day would have been a flop.
But since it was not, and the staff had our party relocated to a bigger better ballroom, I did end up having a beautiful wedding after all. The food was great, and the wait staff was polite.
There was some confusion with the bar. It was supposed to be an open bar, but the bartender was telling my guests that it wasn't. It wasn't until half way through the reception that I heard and had to go set them straight. -

Not very happy with our experience at Kings Court Castle. We went with this venue because of the castle look andpromises that were made to us reguarding the bar. We did not get what we were told we would receive for the bar, the bar tender was the rude to guests we had several people conplain about how she spoke to them making comments like "you know theres a tip jar" and refusing to fill any drinks after only having our bar open 1 hour and a half we paid for open premium bar for 5 1/2 hours. The bar tender told me she had to cut us off bc it was getting late in the night it was 8 and she refused to serve me. I asked to speak to management i was told they left so i told her i would call tomorrow and speak to management unfortunately because of a tight timeframe with our honeymoon i was unable to call. I just couldnt believe how she spoke to me anf my guests and we did not get open bar like we paid for. Definitely NOT worth the money communication was terrible the few times i called i never received calls back. The food at the gaelic pub is horrible we did our rehersal dinner else where Sheilas communication was the worst set up an apointment for a tour and she was not working that day. Kylie was rude and wouldnt even shake my hand when i introduced myself very rude staff just very disapointed i wasted $5,000 to be treated so badly and not receive the perks that made the venue expensive (bar) ultimately the bar tender was what made our experience so horrible here wish we could do it all over and go with the other venue we were looking at. Also the platform you stand on in the chapel was broken the floor was cracked in half and raised a good 3" above the other part of the floor not well cleaned and maintained. Very disappointed in this venue for what we paid i woupd reccomend going with a different venue. -

They ruined our wedding, We asked for our leftover food, they said it was against the law to give them to us, that was a lie. It went down hill from there. Bartender drank until the point of intoxication. We were charged 50.00 per pizza for late night snack. They only made 10 pizzas. No dessert plates brought out - they cleared food before everyone ate. They said the food was ready for bridal party - it was not - THE BANQUET MANAGER ATE OUR FOOD. Food was not kept warm while on the buffet line. Emily the evening employee was rude, and offensive as well as the office manager Kylie. I would never recommend this place.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND STAFF. I mean THE WORST. I was a maid of honor for my sister's wedding there, I left a full review in google forums (it's extremely long, but that was the extent of the terrible service). Let me just say this: It was trashed when we got there for setup, all of the tablecloths were extremely wrinkled and stained (also the napkins) THERE WAS A PLATE holding up a side of one of the guest tables (yes, a dinner plate) AND ON THE BRIDAL TABLE as well. Vomit had been sitting in the bathroom the entire night/day. Absolutely a circus show asking for help- the manager continuously told me "this is how it is, and always has been." Completely unprofessional people there. It was a terrible experience, save yourself the trouble and do not book here- I have never felt the urge to leave a bad review until I experienced this. Check out my full review under Melissa Pellone if you want the whole story on google forums. -

Don't do it!!! I had my wedding 5-28-16. it was so hot in there, that we were sweating so, much that our make up and hair was messed up, beause of sweating. Come to find out it was a fuse and no one fixed it! They never put fans in the chapel or the hall. Most people left even before dinner. It was 78 degrees,I hate to see my wedding photos! The food was good and the hall was pretty, but thats it! I don't recommend having your wedding here! For the money you pay! -

This is a long read but WORTH READING. I would recommend NO ONE book with King's Court. We had a TERRIBLE experience with them on a professional as well as service level. Brittany was unfriendly and unwelcoming from the get go but ignoring better judgement I booked the venue anyway. We were on a short timeline as we got engaged 12/31/15 and wanted a fall wedding. We booked with King's Court in February and were so excited to have a ceremony and reception location! Emphasis on "were so excited". We went to our food tasting and the FOOD WAS AWFUL. Please ask me for photos, I have them. The filet looked like ground hamburger, the chicken was dry, poor quality and saturated in sauce. I am not a picky eater by any means but it was TERRIBLE. My fiances salad at the tasting had a dead fruit fly on it. We expressed our concerns to Brittany and she suggested an additional tasting, we agreed but also inquired (in a polite way) about a possibility of outside catering. I kid you not, this was the email I received after ASKING about the possibility of outside catering:
Hi Sarah,
I just had a response back from my General Manager, and it has been decided it would be in both parties best interest that we return your deposit and void the contract that you have with us.
From all of us here at King’s Court Castle we wish you and Ben the best of luck in your future!
Sincerely,
They cancelled on us, less than 6 months before our wedding. I, of course, asked to speak with Brittany after receiving this email and she was conveniently "busy" and I asked to speak with management SEVERAL times and never got a response back. I would NOT suggest King's Court to ANYONE unless the management, Brittany and the Food ARE GONE. It was a terrible, stressful experience and I am appalled at how UNPROFESSIONAL that entire establishment was. Please save yourself the stress and find a beautiful new venue with quality food your guests deserve and a wedding coordinator who is excited to help -
