As parents of the groom, we hired Connie to help us create a uniquely memorable wedding eve bash for our son and soon-to-be daughter-in-law. Without a doubt, that was the best decision we ever could have made.
Since we live out of town from where the event was being held, Connie helped us plan from afar. The funny thing is, Connie is so skilled at planning and communicating, it almost felt like we were next door neighbors who had known each other for years. It truly felt that personal, like Connie had a true interest and a personal connection to our son and his bride.
That sense of connection was apparent down to the smallest of details. From the very first phone call, Connie's questions focused on getting to know our couple and who they are as people. She was entirely interested in hearing stories about their lives and stories about their love. On the day of the event, when all of the pieces seemed to magically come together--Connie's personal interest and connection to our couple was the obvious foundation from which she created an incredibly meaningful and memorable event.
For the nuts and the bolts of the process, Connie is equally impressive. Not only does she have a tremendous network of amazing vendors whose standards are as high as her own, all of these vendors absolutely love her--and that speaks volumes. Connie is thorough, creative and meticulously organized. She thinks outside the box and creates events that are highly customized and uses visual tools like a shared Pinterest board to remove any ambiguity relating to the design and style. And speaking of Pinterest, she can pretty much build or match just about anything a client falls in love with. When a last minute idea for a custom photo-booth sprang to my mind, she knew exactly who to call to make that wish come true....and it did! She kept all schedules on track with regular communication and calendar reminders for important due dates, she managed each and every vendor personally, she calmed nerves on several occasions, and she even came up with a potential Plan B AND a Plan C in less than 24 hours when a minor hiccup almost occurred.
Our event was spectacular and special, and it was also STRESS-FREE. We simply showed up and enjoyed our evening as much as our guests did. That's the magic of Connie. Through her many years of experience, she can manage complex situations with a devotion to her clients and the sincerest of smiles. We were truly blessed by her talent and to have her on our team.
