We would highly recommend Kevin after hiring him for our Santa Cruz wedding in June at the Seymour Center! We booked Kevin about a month before the wedding when we had room in our budget and he was professional, courteous, and very responsive to all of our questions leading up to the day. Within that short timeframe he learned two songs we requested for the ceremony and also arranged to have a violinist duet with him as guests arrived prior to the ceremony. I appreciated his flexibility with our requests and was impressed with his ability to adapt to a venue he had not played at before, definitely a reliable and talented performer.

Kevin tastefully and effortlessly played a mix of contemporary music, classical, and jazz for our wedding ceremony and reception, and he did a fantastic job. Kevin is a technically and musically gifted player who nailed all the pieces we asked him to prepare. He also was a pleasure to work with leading up to the event and was extremely accommodating when we had minor sound issues during the ceremony with our DJ. Working with him was absolutely seamless, a true joy. Highly recommend!

We hired Kevin to play classical guitar during our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception this fall. He was accompanied by a violinist (Clare). Kevin was very easy to communicate with prior to the event. He was very responsive and accommodating, and worked with us to customize a couple of arrangements for our ceremony.

The wedding day performance went off without a hitch. The arrangements were so beautiful and well done, and the music for the cocktail reception was perfect. Our videographer no-call no-showed (gasp!), and Kevin (being the nice guy that he is) agreed to make a recording of the ceremony arrangements for us so we could have them forever.

To sum up: Kevin is an extremely talented guitarist and performer. He’s a super nice and genuine guy that clearly loves what he does. His playing elevated the party and made our day even more beautiful and special. If you want a professional, kind, accommodating, and talented classical guitarist to play at your wedding or event, Kevin is the guy!

Kevin played for our wedding ceremony in June, and did an absolutely incredible job. He deserves more than five stars! His musical style and choice of songs was perfect, and really gave our outdoor garden wedding the relaxed and elegant atmosphere we were looking for. He came dressed very professionally, arrived early for the setup and the amplification he provided sounded amazing and intimate. He was also an incredibly easy wedding vendor to work with. I didn't have to do any work except answer a few questions about song choice. Couldn't have asked for a better experience on my wedding day!

Kevin played guitar at our October 2015 wedding in Big Sur after we found him online following some pretty extensive research on musicians in the extended bay area. We had a morning ceremony and lunch reception and wanted a classical-acoustic guitarist to play for several hours through out the event.

Our wedding planner did the initial outreach and coordination with Kevin which all went really smoothly. In the lead up to the event Kevin was very responsive to the emails we sent him regarding some of the finer points of the day, including song list, timings, as well ask asking him to learn to play two songs that a friend would sing at the ceremony. We really appreciated his no-fuss style that let us focus on all the other wedding related tasks we were dealing with over the same period.

For the ceremony and reception Kevin was absolutely brilliant. Everything he played was perfect and exactly what we were after, and helped to set a really nice ambiance for our wedding guests. He was completely self contained during the event and we didn't need to worry about him for the entire day, which is a huge plus considering all the other things going on. We received plenty of really positive feedback from our friends and family too about how great he was. On top of that he is a really nice guy and was great to have him around the event.

Perhaps the only thing that Kevin could improve on is having a slightly more formal contract in place for similar events in the future. All the arrangements were finalized in an email rather than a signed document. It didn't bother us at all but probably makes sense for him, for his own benefit if anything else, to have a basic written contract in place.

Kevin was great to work with leading up to the event, is a brilliant musician, and offers his services at a really good price. As such I couldn't recommend him more highly for weddings or any events that require classical guitar.

Kevin played beautifully for my clients' wedding at Ventana Inn in Big Sur. Because there was no dancing, first dances, etc., he actually played for about 3.5 hours for the cocktail hour and lunch and then another 1 hour for the ceremony. The sun was blazing and yet he was was so steady. He played a beautiful mix of Beatles, classical, and other contemporary that suited the locale. I'd hire him again!

He was so thorough and thoughtful in the questions he asked me to ensure everything would run smoothly for the event and that he would be providing the kind of experience we were looking for.
