My daughter asked me for help to organize and coordinate the music for her wedding's prelude and ceremony and I knew, from the very first e-mail I exchanged with Alistair, that I had made the right choice.
The repertoire they offered us had all the pieces of music (from classical to rock) we wanted to have, and when we asked for one piece that was exclusive for a quartet, they were able to make the arrangements to be played as Trio.
Andrew, Erik and Alistair were extremely punctual and followed the timing and cues during the wedding and their performance was just... amazing.

The Vancouver String Quartet helped make our Wedding Ceremony & Reception a most magically elegant and memorable event! We hired the Quartet for the entire event and they were beyond "Fantastic!", exceeding our expectations. Some words our guests used to describe our event and the Quartet were "Classically Elegant, Magical, Most Memorable, Classic & Stunning, Awesome, "An Experience everyone will remember", "A most elegant affair that everyone will cherish and remember always" ...
Some guests even asked if the Quartet had CD's of their music they could purchase as they didn't want want it to end! Alistar Leon Kok was most gracious and accommodating with any and all requests we had leading up to and during our event. What a pleasure to work with him. My husband and I were sold on the idea the moment we heard a few of their music clips online and then speaking with Alistar. We would highly recommend the Vancouver Quartet for anyone seeking a musical experience they will cherish as well never forget. We are already in the process of booking with them again for an annual holiday party (Piano & Violin Duet) we will entertain at our home this year.
We cannot thank them enough for creating the most Magically Elegant Event for our wedding, reception and guests. We booked Vancouver String Quartet for our July 9th wedding and it was the perfect addition to our day. We used the trio of musicians. They always responded to my emails in less than a day, we super helpful in picking the songs that were played, and offered a lot of advice for our day. They also provided a microphone and stand for an additional cost for our ceremony which was perfect. I highly recommend these musicians!
