Kendall is so wonderful! Not only was she a delight to have around on our wedding day, helping us maintain a calm and relaxed vibe during prep time, but then the photos blew us away. She seamlessly captured all of the tiny tender moments that made the day so special, while also emphasizing the natural beauty of the venue. As a bonus, our photos were delivered super quickly on a very simple website, making it easy to share them with guests.

Kendall was incredible! She is so patient. She bring a very calm presence with her which was crucial to a day as big as a wedding and all it brings! She is also invisible ( in a good way) as in she was able to film and not be distracting at all. She also oozes creativity. For example, during the dance party at our wedding, she found our tallest strongest friend and asked to climb on his shoulders to film the dance party from the most elevated level! She will get that shot. Kendall is flexible and so understanding and respectful of your expectations for a day/ event like this. She also produced our video and returned it to us in a very timely manner!

I'll just say this up front: wedding planning can be a lot. It's very worth it, for sure, but there are so many moving parts. Finding a wedding photographer whose vision matches your own is a huge and important part of your wedding. And so I say this without any reservations: you can stop looking because Kendall Rock is the wedding photographer you need. To put it in perspective, my husband and I got married on a wonderfully misty day on top of a literal mountain in Sitka, Alaska. It was a wet, epic, incredibly & classically Alaskan wedding and it was the most beautiful day I could have imagined. And the person who was with me literally every step of the way was Kendall. Because what I didn't know before our wedding was that a wedding photographer isn't just the person hidden behind the camera. A good wedding photographer is a person who is with you every step of the way, who shares your vision, who is there to capture the joy and the spontaneity of that day. Kendall was that person for us. She was game to hike up a mountain in our wedding attire and take pictures overlooking mountain vistas in the mist. She was game to later get on a tiny boat and photograph us on a rocky island outcrop in the middle of the ocean as the salty spray hit the rocks and the wind swept the sea. I had no idea what our wedding day was going to be like (and it was absolutely wonderful), but a big part of what made it so successful was because I lucked out and found the absolute best person to capture the day. If you want someone there who can be a force for amazing creativity, strength, and support, who helps in all these hugely important ways--both big and small--Kendall is the person you are looking for. She takes truly amazing photos, anyone can see that, but that's just the beginning of what she offers as a photographer. She is entirely present for you on your day, she gives you her full attention and her amazing capacity for artistic creativity. A big part of this day is trust: Kendall is a friend with a camera who you can trust entirely to take the pictures that you will never tire of looking at. They will frame your home, as they have ours. I am serious about this: I consider myself so lucky that she was there with us at every step. Our wedding was a huge success, and a big part of that was because she was there, camera in hand, taking the pictures I didn't know I needed with an eye towards capturing emotion, feeling, and love. Our wedding was entirely us, and our photographs reflected it. She shared and captured that day like no one else could, I know that. I write this review for Kendall because I want others to have the kind of magical wedding we did.

Having Kendall as our wedding photographer was an absolute dream. She made everything flow so smoothly, and was fabulous at communicating with us from start to finish. She is a professional in every sense of the word, and her calm presence made everyone so at ease, and that ease shows through in every single photo. Kendall showed up in a black jumpsuit and fanny pack and I knew it was meant to be. The photos she took were amazing (they truly speak for themselves), but her gifts extend so far beyond the photos she took. She captured the feeling of the day, the most beautiful quiet moments, the captured the essence of our amazing guests, and she was adept at managing big, crazy groups for family photos.
