My husband and I met Kelsey at a friends wedding before we were even engaged and we just loved her and her personality. When we got engaged, we knew we wanted Kelsey to be our photographer, easiest vendor choice we had to make! When we did our engagement shoot, we had no idea what we were doing but she told us exactly what to do and made us very comfortable the entire time and the pictures were amazing. We walked away saying how much fun we had! We had the same energy from Kelsey on our wedding day! Kelsey is also a crisis extraordinaire as she helped my MOH fix my dress that broke just minutes before our first look, and keep me calm while doing so. I stumbled upon Kelsey on Instagram several years ago now. I was immediately drawn to her photography, her style of shooting & editing. I knew when my husband and I finally decided to get married, she would be the one to photograph our wedding, no questions asked, it was a done deal! From the initial contact, Kelsey was responsive, professional, and friendly. When it came time for our engagement session, she made sure we were comfortable and everything flowed naturally. Kelsey was amazing to work with. My husband and I are not super comfortable getting our photos taken, but she directed us and made jokes to help us and it resulted in AMAZING photos. For our engagement shoot, which came with our photography package, she was so helpful by presenting us with location options when I told her the vibe we wanted. And prepping for the wedding she was so thorough and brought up things I hadn’t even thought about. On top of being a great person to work with, her photos speak for themselves. We have gotten so many compliments on our engagement photos and wedding photos.

Her work is absolutely stunning and I have no idea how we'll ever narrow down which photos to display in our home. We want to hang them ALL! Finding Kelsey was one of the best things that have happened to us and we feel so lucky to have been able to book with her. We got married in December 2020 and we just started planning it at the beginning of November 2020. Our justice of the peace (who ended up having an emergency a few days before the wedding but instantly hooked us up with another JP, phew!) recommended Kelsey! She is such a sweet, vibrant person, which brought even more joy, excitement, and anticipation to our wedding day! While we didn't have the experience of planning with Kelsey over the course of several months as most couples might, Kelsey was easy to get in touch with in the few weeks leading up to the wedding. On the day of, she made us feel very comfortable in enjoying our special day even if we felt silly posing for a bunch of photos ;) and she had creative ideas how to capture the features of the venue (a restaurant decorated for the holidays). The photos turned out amazing, magical, and so romantic and I'm so happy we have all these beautiful memories to look back on. It’s hard to put into words what an incredible photographer and person kelsey is. I hired her for engagement, boudoir, and of course wedding photography. I was extremely nervous going into the boudoir session as I am not a person who is comfortable in my own skin, let alone taking pictures in that type of setting. The entire time she made me feel extremely comfortable and confident. The pictures came out better than I ever anticipated. I think every girl should do a boudoir session, especially with kelsey. Kelsey takes the time to get to know you as a person and as a couple. She is there for you whenever you have a question and is super detail oriented. When you hire her you get more than a photographer. You get a cheerleader, wedding coordinator, and friend. She goes above and beyond her line of duty to make sure everything is perfect for you. From the first encounter I knew she was the girl for us. She instantly makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. Kelsey makes sure everyone is comfortable in front of the camera and the pictures show it. She will be your biggest cheerleader from blasting Beyoncé during boudoir or making sure you eat your dinner on your wedding night. She made sure our wedding day ran smoothly and kept the day flowing all while laughing and having fun. She was one of the best decisions we made and if I could hire her 100 times again I absolutely would!

Working with Kelsey has been an absolute delight and booking her as our wedding photographer was easily the best decision we could have made. When I first inquired her services by email, she was prompt with her responses and was more than willing to be flexible with her schedule to make arrangements for an in person consultation. She answered any and every question we had and went over all details of her services and packages. She was knowledgeable, informative and at the same time gave great suggestions and ideas (with examples) for a couple like us who were so clueless as to what we wanted. We ended up choosing a wedding package that included an engagement shoot along with our wedding day coverage. On the day of our engagement shoot, I remember being so nervous at the thought being in front of the camera. We decided to go to a local brewery for our location and upon meeting up with Kelsey for the shoot, her presence was so calming that it felt like we were just meeting up with a friend. I instantly felt so comfortable with her that my nerves vanished! She casually started taking photos of us in our natural element and none of it ever felt staged or cheesy. She gave great direction and it was awesome to see her be actively creative with us. The photos came out incredible and it really set the bar for what we were to expect come our actual wedding day.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, our original wedding day plans for March 21, 2020 were affected by the state-wide shutdown due to COVID-19. We found out the week of our wedding that we were forced to cancel and reschedule our celebration for a later date. At the time, it was difficult for us to make very last minute decisions and redirect everything but Kelsey was so supportive in those moments. She genuinely wanted to make sure that WE were okay and was an emotional crutch for me. I am so forever ever grateful for her because of how HELPFUL she was. Her positivity and encouragement for us in these dark times helped us decide that we still wanted to get married on that date, and we made it happen! She went above and beyond her services with helping me find a new last minute hair stylist; to helping us find a last minute JP; to helping us coordinate Facetime viewings of our private ceremony with our immediate families and honestly so much more! While her photography aesthetic is something I already really appreciate; she was able to capture such raw, heart felt moments that day and in the end, everything turned out so special like it was intended to be. I am obsessed with how all of our photos turned out and I am so grateful to have these mementos to relive what was still the greatest wedding day ever!
