Keira photographed our engagement session and wedding. We love Keira’s photography style, her candid and natural approach to capturing the events of the day. Sometimes taking photos can be uncomfortable, and she was great at making it not feel that way. Keira was also very helpful in organizing our schedule for a VERY busy day and still made sure we had enough time to enjoy ourselves!

My husband and I hired Keira for our engagement shoot and wedding! When we got back our engagement photos we knew we made the correct decision. She captured us so wonderfully and she is so incredibly talented. On the day of our wedding she was so professional and kind to work with. Keira was hands down one of the best choices we made for our July 23rd wedding at Revolution Hall in Troy! Being a photographer and high school photography teacher, finding the best photographer for our budget and needs was my top priority. Traveling to NY from Virginia for our wedding, Keira was always available to Skype and meet in person when we were in town. She was great throughout the entire process from the beginning stages of our wedding planning journey to the moment we said "I DO". We had a ton of fun during our photos, and my husband was relaxed and at ease during our portraits and this I totally thank Keira for! Her artistic eye, quality of images and professionalism is just TERRIFIC! I can't wait for our next event or milestone we need a photographer for, because Keira will be our first call! I could go on and on with great words for this review!

Keira is absolutely wonderful. She took fantastic photos for our reception, we are very pleased with them. The pictures were creative and beautiful. Keira made sure to check in with us throughout the night to make sure we had all the pictures we needed. She was professional and worked very well with my bridal party and family members, who were sometimes difficult to round up for pictures! She had a "teaser" photo ready the day after the reception and within 2 weeks had about 20-30 pictures up on her blog. I definitely recommend Keira and I personally plan on contacting her again for future photos as she also does family photography :)

My husband and I had Keira take our engagement and wedding photos, and I could not be more thrilled with the experience. We hired her because I’m picky about photography and find her work to be unique and absolutely beautiful—it speaks for itself (yes, our photos are as beautiful as those she features on her website). She’s so creative and has a great eye for places to take photos that really, in my opinion, make her photos stand out from those of other wedding photographers. I also looked at dozens of photographers in the area and found her prices to be extremely reasonable, especially given the quality of the photos she produces.

However, what I can really speak to that you can’t learn from her website is how wonderful she is to work with, which was invaluable to us as the wedding got closer and planning got more stressful. Keira is a consummate professional. She’s accommodating, she answers emails in a reasonable amount of time (usually in 24 hours or less), and she takes the time to understand what you want in your wedding photos and genuinely cares that you love your wedding photos.
Finally, I think the highest compliment I have for Keira is that our engagement photos and wedding photos genuinely felt like us and not a stiff, formal version of us. Getting your pictures taken is nearly always awkward, but Keira lets you sort of do your thing and interact, while giving you some guidance so the pictures look good, and the result is really awesome. Most of our pictures look like she caught us just hanging out together, and it was exactly what we were hoping for.

I cannot recommend hiring Keira enough—you’ll get beautiful photos, and the process will be fun and as stress-free as anything wedding related can possibly be!

My new husband and I absolutely LOVE Keira and her work! This past March she worked with us in the freezing, snowy cold of Schoharie for our engagement pictures, which were stunning and unique. She also photographed our unexpectedly rainy wedding 3 days ago and even though we've only seen a few teaser photos, we are so incredibly pleased! She is very professional, organized, helpful, creative and lovely. I can't wait to work with her again in the future, maybe for boudoir shots and eventually baby photos!
