From the very beginning of our planning process, Katie was professional, organized, and calm - exactly what I wanted for our wedding day. In the days leading up to our wedding, we were feeling anxious about the weather, but she put us at ease with thoughtful backup plans for every scenario. It ended up being extremely windy - 60+ MPH gusts! - and she adapted effortlessly, found creative solutions, and captured the most beautiful, special shots despite the conditions.

Katie also goes above and beyond in every sense. While my husband and his family are from Nantucket, we were married in Rye, NY at my family’s beach club—a place incredibly special to us. Not only did Katie travel for our October 2025 wedding weekend, but she thoughtfully researched each of our locations beforehand, mapping out the best angles and pinpointing the ideal lighting at different times of day. She familiarized herself with every space so that we felt completely at ease and so she could capture the most meaningful and beautiful images possible. Her willingness to travel, collaborate with new vendors, and go the extra mile meant the absolute world to us.

We could not be happier with how our wedding photos turned out. They allow us to relive those unforgettable moments again and again, and they are treasures we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Katie is exceptional at her craft, but she’s also someone you feel genuinely lucky to have by your side on one of the most important days of your life. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

We were fortunate to secure Katie (thank you Maggie Stewart!)) for our wedding this September 13, 2025 at Sankaty Beach and Golf Club on Nantucket. Given that we are both very busy professionals, we were not always the best at getting things done! Katie was wonderfully patient with us as we tweaked plans, made changes and were not always the best at responding. We ended up doing our engagement photo shoot about two weeks before the wedding, and I never thought I could have that much fun in front of the camera! Katie was so excited to include our dogs in the photos, and we were able to do two separate areas of our island both with and without dogs. 

Katie was up for any of our spur of the minute photo ideas, and also had some amazingly artistic ones of her own. The dogs loved her, and she really captured the goofy personality of our two great danes and one "little" mix. She is so upbeat and positive, it was hard to not have fun! She also was happy to pivot and took some silly photos of us with my husband's truck (I was being facetious, but they came out like an advertisement for Ram!) Her previews were such a nice little taste in the lead up to our wedding day!

We had Katie do both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day itself, and I am so happy we did. Her and Maggie worked well together and the whole weekend was seamless. The number of candids that truly show the joy of the day is impressive. We had a few little quirks on the evening of our rehearsal dinner, including a shot ski, and Katie really managed to capture the fun and joy of the moment, along with capturing the happy greeting of our guests. 

On the wedding day itself, Katie showed up to the bridal location early and was able to capture some great family and bridesmaids shots. Her colleague, Kevin, shot at our home where the groom was getting ready. Her artistic vision came through in some of our first look photos as she really used the dappled light to her advantage. 

Before the ceremony, we had time to do our standard family photos, and also was happy to add on including the dogs. As well as accommodating a number of my last minute (and I mean morning of last minute) photo requests. She got AMAZING photos of my dog and I under the veil and within the bridesmaids bouquets. She made my vision of Bandida being part of my special day come to life! Her photos of the flower toss and the drive off after the ceremony are perfect. 

Katie was willing to try anything we asked! Including asking if we could do a champagne spray photo (again, very last minute). With the help of the rest of the vendor teams, we were able to capture a truly amazing photo of us kissing while spraying champagne into the night. I can't wait to blow those photos up and put them on my wall.

There are so many amazing photos that Katie took and her attention to detail is impeccable. Her upbeat personality made EVERYTHING fun. She truly captured the wedding energy and had a blast doing it! I had no qualms about asking her a variety of shots, and she was only too happy to oblige. The end product is stunning. She captured me feeling beautiful on my wedding day and we will have fabulous photos for years to come. 

I would hire Katie again in a heartbeat (and will for family portraits in the future!) Her instagram posts in the few days following the wedding gave us little glimpses of what was to come and we were not disappointed! She truly loves what she does, and you could tell she was having fun the whole day. I would recommend her to any one of my friends getting married on the island or in the Northeast, though I am pretty confident we will always remain her favorite couple =)

Katie did the photos for our wedding weekend on Nantucket Island on June 28th, 2025. Overall, the experience with Katie and her team are bar none. Leading up to the wedding, Katie frequently checked in, making herself available to us, and always giving suggestions for ideas to make sure we felt prepared for the big day. For the actual wedding day, having Katie there felt like being with family. She's done so many weddings for our family and her presence always puts everyone at ease and in the mood. During the ceremony/reception, you couldn't even tell her and her team were in the background capturing the most amazing moments. We have the MOST AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL photos that capture memories that will last us a lifetime, and thats all thanks to Katie and her team. We could not have asked for a better photographer! Katie and her team captured our wedding weekend beautifully, from our sunny welcome events to our rainy wedding day. Once we decided on Nantucket as the location for our wedding, we knew that we wanted to find just the right photographer to capture our most special day on a special island. In Katie we found the perfect fit.

From our first conversation with her, we felt that she would be great to work with and she surpassed all of our expectations. Katie didn’t just want to know what pictures we wanted, she wanted to know everything about our story including how we fell in love with each other and why Nantucket is so special to us.

Our wedding date was May 3, 2025, early in the year for a Nantucket wedding, so Mother Nature was talked about a lot in the weeks leading up to the big day. In every conversation, Katie patiently talked us through our options. She helped us come up with plans A, B and C, just in case, and took the time to make sure that all of our options would work and how to best utilize each space. She was a calming voice when we were anxious about things that were out of our control. She asked questions and untimely guided us to what turned out to be the best decision for us, an intimate backyard ceremony.

Katie truly cares about the people she works with and it shows in her pictures. Once the day came, she seamlessly entered our house and blended into the day with ease. She took the time to get to know our family members and her professional yet personal demeanor allowed her to capture everyone and everything that was special to us, down to every last detail.

At the house, Katie beautifully captured the ceremony and our first dance, never missing a smile, intimate look or light touch between us. She walked us down the cobblestone streets, danced us through the daffodils and posed us on Easy Street with the quintessential Nantucket backdrop of water and shingle style homes. We felt like the town had stopped for us. It’s not always possible for a same sex couple to feel comfortable when asked to show love out in public. Katie made it so easy for us to just be ourselves.

There doesn’t seem to be an adequate word to describe how beautifully she captured our love for each other in pictures. To say that we loved working with Katie is an understatement. She has given us the most amazing gift of holding that day in time for us. We will always have her work to look back on and when we do, we will be right back on our island, in a yard we borrowed, on the best day of the most amazing weekend of our lives.

From our very first phone call, we knew we had to work with Katie to capture our wedding weekend. We got married at The Nantucket Hotel in September 2024 with a kick-off celebration at The Proprietor’s the night before. As much as we wanted to capture all the wedding details, we wanted to make sure our love for Nantucket, a place with special memories to us, showed through in the pictures.
