Kelly was recommended by our venue and was a perfect photographer to work with for our wedding day. From our very first introductory meeting, we felt like she really understood our vision for the day. She made the entire process so easy and was wonderful to work with on the big day. Kelly is incredible! I had found her via Googling for local "documentary style" photographers, and then coincidentally realized she was also one of the preferred photographers for our venue (the Lyman Estate), which was perfect because she knew the venue so well.

From our very first call, Kelly took the time to get to know us as a couple and what we were most excited about for our wedding and for the images we would capture together. I am so tough on myself in photos, but Kelly was so understanding of my insecurities and provided advice and guidance for us throughout the day of our wedding so that the pictures would turn out great.

We can’t recommend Kelly enough! We were initially drawn to her laid-back and natural style and are so happy we decided to work with her for our wedding. From the very beginning stages of inquiring, we could tell that she had a genuine interest in who we were as a couple and in how to make capture our wedding. She was communicative and accessible throughout the planning process, and had lots of helpful suggestions for timing and logistics as we were planning the details of the day. We had a very small (12 guest) wedding at a family home, and despite the intimate setting, she fit smoothly into the entire day. She captured so many different perspectives during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner and it was such a joy to review them all after the wedding. She has an amazing eye for emotion and naturalism, and her photos truly captured how we were feeling during the day. She delivered the full gallery promptly, and even emailed us ahead of time to be sure she sent it at a time we’d be home and able to enjoy it together, which was so thoughtful. We got married on 9/24/22 and cannot recommend Kelly enough for all your wedding photography needs. From our initial meeting to our receiving our final photographs, we could not have asked for more. Here are just some reasons out of many why you should hire Kelly: 1. She is not just your photographer, but a sounding point for ideas! She always responded to any questions promptly and in check-in meetings prior to our wedding day, Kelly not only proposed some great settings for our photos, but also recommended a cute idea on how to incorporate iphone pictures into an otherwise phone-free ceremony. We were very prepared day-of on what to expect. 2. She is a calming presence on the day. I think she might be a magician - I did not notice her during our ceremony but she captured all the special moments. 3. Last but definitely not least, the end results were beautiful. We had so many favorites to choose from and she did a great job with all sorts of lighting for our outdoors/tested wedding. From the start, her subtle, candid style spoke to us and we were not disappointed with the final results. Thank you Kelly!!

Kelly was an incredible wedding photographer and I want to give her the highest recommendation. For context, I got married at the end of August and I still look at my wedding photo online album daily (it's now December). There are MANY reasons we loved having Kelly as our photographer but I think the following really makes her stand out from other photographers:
- Her photos capture real life and raw emotions. She told us upfront to just go about our day acting like she wasn't there. I thought this would be hard but it wasn't at all. She rarely had us or wedding attendants pose for photos. This resulted in photos that truly told our story rather than just telling who was in attendance.
- Her photo style appears more natural and authentic compared to the commonly seen (and overdone, in my opinion) "light and airy" or overexposed looks. This does result in a few shots being more dark/moody which I actually loved.
- She was confident in shooting a larger wedding without a second shooter. We initially thought we'd have around 150 people and she said she could shoot this size alone. We ended up with closer to 125 and I feel like every single part of the night and person in attendance was captured beautifully.
- She made the day about us. She is quiet but mighty in terms of capturing the day perfectly without intruding on the moment. I have been in weddings where the photographer was loud, bossy, and overly involved in the wedding events and I felt so uncomfortable. Kelly was the complete opposite of this!
- We needed to add another hour of shooting to our package at the start of the day and she was very flexible in accommodating this. She even stayed past our contact time to capture a few more dancing photos and us signing our marriage certificate with our closest friends.
Overall, if you made it this far, all I have to say is book with Kelly ASAP before she is booked!!

There is a reason that Kelly has won on Wedding Wire for best photographer multiple years in a row. She is simply the best. No only does she capture beautiful, authentic, real moments of you and your spouse on your wedding day, but she helps to guide you through the process every step of the way.

Kelly helped me position my bouquet just perfectly in shots, get my 3 year old niece to stand for formal photos, helped wrangle my extended family for a group shot mid reception and capture all the little moments in between.

Kelly's calm personality and attention to detail was exactly what we needed for our wedding. We met her in person for the first time during our engagement session and were immediately at ease and comfortable with her.
