Kelly was recommended by our venue and was a perfect photographer to work with for our wedding day. From our very first introductory meeting, we felt like she really understood our vision for the day. She made the entire process so easy and was wonderful to work with on the big day. Kelly is incredible! I had found her via Googling for local "documentary style" photographers, and then coincidentally realized she was also one of the preferred photographers for our venue (the Lyman Estate), which was perfect because she knew the venue so well.
From our very first call, Kelly took the time to get to know us as a couple and what we were most excited about for our wedding and for the images we would capture together. I am so tough on myself in photos, but Kelly was so understanding of my insecurities and provided advice and guidance for us throughout the day of our wedding so that the pictures would turn out great.
Our wedding was in early October, and we got the most amazing sneak peek photos back just a few days afterwards! We can't wait to see the rest of the photos soon. Thank you Kelly!!

While we knew that Kelly was a very talented photographer when we booked her, we were still completely blown away by how stunning the photos came out. Goes above and beyond!
Kelly is an amazing photographer, who did not disappoint. From the moment she arrived on our wedding venue, she went to work, taking pics of the scenery, as well as of us getting ready. Kelly captured pivotal moments in the night, and even stayed a little extra to get some great shots. Kelly takes her work very seriously, and we could not be happier with our decision to hire her for the event of a lifetime. Thank you Kelly! There is a reason that Kelly has won on Wedding Wire for best photographer multiple years in a row. She is simply the best. No only does she capture beautiful, authentic, real moments of you and your spouse on your wedding day, but she helps to guide you through the process every step of the way.
Kelly helped me position my bouquet just perfectly in shots, get my 3 year old niece to stand for formal photos, helped wrangle my extended family for a group shot mid reception and capture all the little moments in between.
She is truly a professional at what she does and has a cool, calm demeanor about her that makes you want to offer a genuine warm smile. Thank you Kelly for all you did to capture our wedding day, I would recommend you to anyone! -

Kelly was amazing to work with! From the first time we spoke on the phone, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, and post-wedding! Her communication is so clear and timely. She knows how to keep everyone on track during family portraits, which was very much appreciated! Taking pictures is not my husbands' favorite thing to do, but Kelly made him feel comfortable and the whole process was quick and "painless" for him. Her pictures are absolutely beautiful, professional, and exactly what we hoped for. I can't wait to see our wedding album come together. You will not be disappointed working with Kelly! -

From our first conversation to the delivery of our photos, Kelly has been a true delight to work with! We loved her candid, documentary style of images. I was nervous for our engagement session as I'd never been the focus of the camera before, but she gave us excellent direction and totally eased our worries about having our photos taken. Then, on our wedding day, Kelly melted into everything that was happening that day (I seriously didn't notice she was there other than portraits!) and caught the most magical moments - from our first look, to our families reacting to our vows, to everyone on the dance floor, Kelly expertly crafted each and every shot and edited everything so beautifully. Our breath was truly taken away when we got our final photos. Kelly was the best decision we made in terms of wedding vendors! I am so happy we hired her, and I cannot wait for her to capture more of our life's most joyous moments in the future. Thank you, Kelly! -

Seriously - if you are looking for an extraordinary photographer who will capture big and small moments in ways that nobody else can match, then you need Kelly at your event. She described herself to us as a wedding photojournalist, and that's exactly what she is - an incredibly talented artist whose photos tell a story that is more vibrant, more interesting, and more exciting than you would think possible. She was also a pleasure to work with - she made us feel relaxed and calm, and was able to be everywhere on the day without invading anyone's space or drawing attention to herself. We trusted her completely, and our trust was absolutely validated by her amazing pictures and her calming presence. 10/10, would recommend to anyone and everyone. -

Obviously planning a wedding in 2020 is scary. From the get-go, we knew Kelly would be the person who would photograph our wedding. She was helpful, responsive, gave great wedding planning advice, and was all-around amazing. I can't stop looking at the pictures she took for our engagement and our mini-mony. She was attentive to our needs and ensured she was keeping up to date about guidelines for everyone's safety. I can't recommend her enough. -

Kelly photographed our Cambridge City hall wedding on December 6th and the beginning of a small reception in our home in Boston afterwards. She was great to work with, very flexible, provided helpful advice beforehand, and even took photos for a little bit longer than we had paid for, which we really appreciated. We got the first few photos on December 19th and the rest on December 23rd, but the wait was worth it, they were fantastic!! Kelly has a real gift at capturing emotion. We would strongly recommend her to any couple. -

Kelly was a joy to work with - she is extremely personable, professional and responsive. She lays out clear expectations with what to expect in working with her and executes upon those promises. She did a fantastic job ensuring that all of the photos we were hoping for got captured on our wedding day without being obtrusive or making the photo ops a distraction from enjoying the celebration. She put together a wonderful photo album (with very little input from my husband and me) that we will cherish as a physical remembrance of our wedding day for years to come. I would highly recommend Kelly! -

Kelly captured exactly what we were looking for
My husband and I both don't love having our pictures taken so when it came down to the idea of posing for an extended amount of time we were both a little nervous. We wanted a photographer that would capture our personalities and the best of our candid moments during our wedding. Kelly understood and did just that. Not only were the images from every part of our wedding amazing, but she did manage to usher us through the portrait sessions quickly and with great ease. She made wonderful recommendations during the portrait session that made us laugh and helped us relax. From the ceremony all the way through the reception, I honestly forgot she was there, but our wonderful photos proved she was! -

Kate Sent on 07/31/2018Kelly was so much more than we expected in a photographer! We interviewed four photographers for our wedding and she was the only one who asked my fiance about his likes and preferences and what he was looking forward to about the wedding. Her photos are beautiful, which is what drew us to her in the first place, but it is her interaction with the client and her consideration of the couple as a whole which made us hire her.
Throughout the planning process she was organized, professional and a delight to work with. She touched base every few months to see how things were going and offered help with whatever we needed, including recommendations for other vendors. (She suggested our videographers (Love Locked Films) and we couldn't be happier with them).
We did an engagement session with her in March, and despite the fact that we are not photogenic and a bit shy, she managed to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera and take some beautiful shots that really captured who we are. This was also a great practice session for the wedding and helped us nail down angles that we like more than others. I should also note that this session is free with wedding photography, and if you like any photos you can buy them a la carte or buy the whole portfolio for a very reasonable price (we bought them all and used them for our guest book).
We had several planning sessions over the course of the year leading up to the wedding, each of which Kelly structured to help suss out what was most important to us. These also allowed us to feel involved and build up trust that she would get the photos we most wanted. By the time the day rolled around, we didn't have to worry about anything - she knew what we wanted and got it done beautifully! On the day of she was great. She brought another photographer, Carrie, who was also lovely and the two of them did a phenomenal job wrangling relatives and taking gorgeous candid portraits. Can't recommend her enough!!! -

She is professional, talented, and one of the best wedding vendors we worked with for our wedding -- would hire her again in a heartbeat! Before the wedding, Kelly took the time to talk with us and carefully read our wedding questionnaire so she could understand our event, what was important to us, and what we wanted to capture in the photos. During the wedding, she helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera -- directing us when we needed direction, but always remaining respectful and blending seamlessly into the event to let things unfold naturally. After the wedding, she communicated with us when to expect our photos and delivered them in a timely fashion. She was always responsive, professional, and thoughtful, and her warm personality made her a joy to work with.
In addition to all of this -- Kelly took fantastic photos. She is truly an artist! We were amazed at how she managed to capture all the key moments of our wedding even though she was our sole photographer. I was worried that our wedding would look dark because it was held indoors in late fall. However, thanks to Kelly's lighting suggestions (and some lucky weather) we ended up with stunning photographs. Her images are beautiful, thoughtful, and romantic. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with Kelly! -

Hillary Sent on 01/08/2014Kelly was such a great calming and critical part of making my wedding day amazing. We were in a mansion during the middle of winter so she assured me that she would come rain, shine, or blizzard. Not only was she there before me the day of she was ready to go and had already done a lot of the detailed still life shots and landscape shots that I had requested. So she focused on me for the rest of the day! I was even comfortable enough with her to shoot some boudoir photos in the big bathtub and elegant bathroom after the hair and make up was done, before I slipped into my dress. I didn't have bridesmaids but had a bridal party consisting of six boys and girls between the ages of 1 and a half to 9 years old. Needless to say once they arrived with their parent, and my mom and sister started to get nervous, I could feel the tension of the voices in the room. Kelly quietly pulled me aside and asked to do just my portraits because she instinctively knew I needed a little breathing room and peace. Then when our family photo shoot started to get too loud as soon as we finished she took me and the groom outside for some winter wonderland shots. Her gentle directions on where to place my hands or how to tilt my head made me relax and look so natural. -

From the initial contact through the image editing process, she remained in contact with us in regards to timelines and to expectations. The images, both posed and spontaneous, are stunning and we're so happy with how they came out! Many guests, upon reviewing the images, weren't even aware that they had been photographed! We would recommend Kelly to anyone who is looking for a photographer for any event.
