  Absolutely Stunning!

  While we knew that Kelly was a very talented photographer when we booked her, we were still completely blown away by how stunning the photos came out. She inconspicuously blends into her surroundings and captures such beautiful, raw moments. She magically encapsulates the pure energy and happiness of the day to relive over and over. We feel so grateful for these photos, and we cannot recommend her enough.

  Goes above and beyond!

  Kelly is an amazing photographer, who did not disappoint. From the moment she arrived on our wedding venue, she went to work, taking pics of the scenery, as well as of us getting ready. Kelly captured pivotal moments in the night, and even stayed a little extra to get some great shots. Kelly takes her work very seriously, and we could not be happier with our decision to hire her for the event of a lifetime. Thank you Kelly! You are truly a sweetheart, and made our day so wonderful!

  Cannot recommend more highly!

  We can’t recommend Kelly enough! We were initially drawn to her laid-back and natural style and are so happy we decided to work with her for our wedding. From the very beginning stages of inquiring, we could tell that she had a genuine interest in who we were as a couple and in how to make capture our wedding. She was communicative and accessible throughout the planning process, and had lots of helpful suggestions for timing and logistics as we were planning the details of the day. We had a very small (12 guest) wedding at a family home, and despite the intimate setting, she fit smoothly into the entire day. She captured so many different perspectives during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner and it was such a joy to review them all after the wedding. She has an amazing eye for emotion and naturalism, and her photos truly captured how we were feeling during the day. She delivered the full gallery promptly, and even emailed us ahead of time to be sure she sent it at a time we’d be home and able to enjoy it together, which was so thoughtful. All of our friends and family have commented on how beautiful and full of emotion our photos are, and we truly couldn’t be happier. We will definitely be recommending her to future couples!

  Beautiful photos from a trusted professional

  Tldr; for those who want beautiful portraits and candids of their wedding day and a seamless process with a kind professional, please do yourself a favor and book Kelly stat!
  
  We got married on 9/24/22 and cannot recommend Kelly enough for all your wedding photography needs. From our initial meeting to our receiving our final photographs, we could not have asked for more. Here are just some reasons out of many why you should hire Kelly: 1. She is not just your photographer, but a sounding point for ideas! She always responded to any questions promptly and in check-in meetings prior to our wedding day, Kelly not only proposed some great settings for our photos, but also recommended a cute idea on how to incorporate iphone pictures into an otherwise phone-free ceremony. We were very prepared day-of on what to expect. 2. She is a calming presence on the day. I think she might be a magician - I did not notice her during our ceremony but she captured all the special moments. 3. Last but definitely not least, the end results were beautiful. We had so many favorites to choose from and she did a great job with all sorts of lighting for our outdoors/tested wedding. From the start, her subtle, candid style spoke to us and we were not disappointed with the final results. Thank you Kelly!!

  Dream wedding photos

  Kelly was an incredible wedding photographer and I want to give her the highest recommendation. For context, I got married at the end of August and I still look at my wedding photo online album daily (it's now December). There are MANY reasons we loved having Kelly as our photographer but I think the following really makes her stand out from other photographers:
  - Her photos capture real life and raw emotions. She told us upfront to just go about our day acting like she wasn't there. I thought this would be hard but it wasn't at all. She rarely had us or wedding attendants pose for photos. This resulted in photos that truly told our story rather than just telling who was in attendance.
  - Her photo style appears more natural and authentic compared to the commonly seen (and overdone, in my opinion) "light and airy" or overexposed looks. This does result in a few shots being more dark/moody which I actually loved.
  - She was confident in shooting a larger wedding without a second shooter. We initially thought we'd have around 150 people and she said she could shoot this size alone. We ended up with closer to 125 and I feel like every single part of the night and person in attendance was captured beautifully.
  - She made the day about us. She is quiet but mighty in terms of capturing the day perfectly without intruding on the moment. I have been in weddings where the photographer was loud, bossy, and overly involved in the wedding events and I felt so uncomfortable. Kelly was the complete opposite of this!
  - We needed to add another hour of shooting to our package at the start of the day and she was very flexible in accommodating this. She even stayed past our contact time to capture a few more dancing photos and us signing our marriage certificate with our closest friends.
  Overall, if you made it this far, all I have to say is book with Kelly ASAP before she is booked!!

  Amazing eye for detail & emotion + great poise amidst wedding chaos!

  Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer, and we could not recommend her more highly. She was warm and incredibly patient with us as we tried to optimize the number of photos (and configurations of friends and relatives) that we could capture outdoors without masks in the time between our ceremony and reception. Her expertise was so helpful and we really appreciated her can-do attitude! Even under a time crunch and with lots of “cooks in the kitchen”, she handled it all with poise, and was very effective at asserting her authority and keeping things moving. We really appreciated that.
  
  We’ve just been reviewing photos, which came a week ago or so, and all of them are absolutely gorgeous-- she has such an eye for authentic candid emotion and small moments. Hire Kelly!

  Highly recommend, extremely easy to work with!

  Kelly was amazing to work with! From the first time we spoke on the phone, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day, and post-wedding! Her communication is so clear and timely. She knows how to keep everyone on track during family portraits, which was very much appreciated! Taking pictures is not my husbands' favorite thing to do, but Kelly made him feel comfortable and the whole process was quick and "painless" for him. Her pictures are absolutely beautiful, professional, and exactly what we hoped for. I can't wait to see our wedding album come together. You will not be disappointed working with Kelly!

  Magical wedding photos!

  From our first conversation to the delivery of our photos, Kelly has been a true delight to work with! We loved her candid, documentary style of images. I was nervous for our engagement session as I'd never been the focus of the camera before, but she gave us excellent direction and totally eased our worries about having our photos taken. Then, on our wedding day, Kelly melted into everything that was happening that day (I seriously didn't notice she was there other than portraits!) and caught the most magical moments - from our first look, to our families reacting to our vows, to everyone on the dance floor, Kelly expertly crafted each and every shot and edited everything so beautifully. Our breath was truly taken away when we got our final photos. Kelly was the best decision we made in terms of wedding vendors! I am so happy we hired her, and I cannot wait for her to capture more of our life's most joyous moments in the future. Thank you, Kelly!

  The best photographer I could have chosen

  Kelly was our wedding photographer and I cannot recommend any vendor more highly. She was very communicative beforehand, chatting with us several times to make sure all details were covered and that she understood the kind of wedding we were having and our hope for our photography. On the day, she was extremely professional and very thorough. She picked up on so many details, made great use of the light and natural landscape around us (our ceremony was outdoors), and just captured the day perfectly. The results are gorgeous - she absolutely knocked it out of the park!

  Start to finish, Kelly made our day.

  Obviously planning a wedding in 2020 is scary. From the get-go, we knew Kelly would be the person who would photograph our wedding. She was helpful, responsive, gave great wedding planning advice, and was all-around amazing. I can't stop looking at the pictures she took for our engagement and our mini-mony. She was attentive to our needs and ensured she was keeping up to date about guidelines for everyone's safety. I can't recommend her enough.

She described herself to us as a wedding photojournalist, and that's exactly what she is - an incredibly talented artist whose photos tell a story that is more vibrant, more interesting, and more exciting than you would think possible. She was also a pleasure to work with - she made us feel relaxed and calm, and was able to be everywhere on the day without invading anyone's space or drawing attention to herself. No only does she capture beautiful, authentic, real moments of you and your spouse on your wedding day, but she helps to guide you through the process every step of the way.
  
  Kelly helped me position my bouquet just perfectly in shots, get my 3 year old niece to stand for formal photos, helped wrangle my extended family for a group shot mid reception and capture all the little moments in between.

  Captured the best moments of the day

  Going through different photographers' portfolios can be exhausting, especially when you're trying to find the one whose work resonates with you and seems to capture exactly what you're looking for. A friend recommended Kelly and from the moment I landed on her website, I thought "this is the one." Her colors, the moments she captured, the essence of the day, really stood out to me. But I looked through other photographers to make sure we were making the right decision, ones more affordable and more expensive. But we always came back to Kelly and we don't regret it for a second.
  
  The one thing that especially stood out to me from her blog was her explanation about her approach to wedding photography. She said her wedding day felt "like a warm hug" and she strives to capture that in the images. Not only did she capture the classic moments in portraits, but her images also brought the personalities and fun and love we felt at our wedding, showcasing our most loved ones in their best light. We didn't have a videographer, but we don't need one when we look through her pictures. The images she captured help us relive the most special moments and jog our memory to the ones we maybe forgot. Her images may not be the typical style of wedding photography -- ethereal and light and whitewashed, which can be nice -- but they're the best representation of our wedding day, family, and friends in the most beautiful way. And that's what I want to remember forever in my wedding pictures.
  
  On top of that, she's lovely, she works with you every step of the wedding planning process, she asks the right questions, gives great advice and perspective, she really tries to get to know you as people and a couple, and you can tell she really loves her job.

Her images may not be the typical style of wedding photography -- ethereal and light and whitewashed, which can be nice -- but they're the best representation of our wedding day, family, and friends in the most beautiful way. And that's what I want to remember forever in my wedding pictures.
  
  On top of that, she's lovely, she works with you every step of the wedding planning process, she asks the right questions, gives great advice and perspective, she really tries to get to know you as people and a couple, and you can tell she really loves her job.

  Great at capturing emotion, helpful, flexible

  Kelly photographed our Cambridge City hall wedding on December 6th and the beginning of a small reception in our home in Boston afterwards. She was great to work with, very flexible, provided helpful advice beforehand, and even took photos for a little bit longer than we had paid for, which we really appreciated. We got the first few photos on December 19th and the rest on December 23rd, but the wait was worth it, they were fantastic!! Kelly has a real gift at capturing emotion. We would strongly recommend her to any couple.

  Couldn't be happier!

  I can't say enough about Kelly and how happy I am with our wedding photography. Kelly takes the time beforehand to get to know a couple and their dynamic, and then perfectly captures it on the big day. I am one of those people that does not enjoy getting their photo taken--but I couldn't be happier with the final product! The photos were real, honest, and beautiful. Going through them made us laugh and cry all over again. She catches all the moments. You won't be disappointed with this very sweet and very talented photographer!

  Kelly is a talented, personable photographer and consummate professional! She made us feel comfortable every step of the way. She has a great eye for special moments and composition. She knew both how to direct our families in large group portraits, while also making intimate portraits of the two of us being ourselves.   Kelly was a joy to work with - she is extremely personable, professional and responsive. She lays out clear expectations with what to expect in working with her and executes upon those promises.   Kelly captured exactly what we were looking for

  My husband and I both don't love having our pictures taken so when it came down to the idea of posing for an extended amount of time we were both a little nervous. We wanted a photographer that would capture our personalities and the best of our candid moments during our wedding. Kelly understood and did just that. Not only were the images from every part of our wedding amazing, but she did manage to usher us through the portrait sessions quickly and with great ease. She made wonderful recommendations during the portrait session that made us laugh and helped us relax. From the ceremony all the way through the reception, I honestly forgot she was there, but our wonderful photos proved she was!

  Kelly was our wedding photographer. She made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. She was responsive during the planning process, patient, professional, organized, and did a great job keeping to our timeline despite having a large group to corral.   Artful photography, worth every penny

  We selected Kelly based on the vision of her work and her attention to detail. We liked her almost journalistic style of photographing all the parts of the wedding and her excellent eye for moments. She was extremely professional yet warm in her approach to us and our ideas. She moved subtly through our 150-person crowd, going barely noticed most of the time, capturing the unique personalities and energy of all our loved ones beautifully. The groom was a little nervous about having his portrait taken, not being too comfortable in front of the camera, but she made us feel super comfortable, got us both laughing, and we now have so many photos of us that we love that we can hardly choose which to print. The joy and spirit of our wedding truly comes through in her photos, which are both documentary and art. Thank you Kelly!

  A true gem. Would pick her a million times over!

  Where do I start! I never leave reviews yet I constantly rely on them, so I hope this is helpful to planning couples. My husband and I didn't want our photos to look either too staged, or too arsty. We just wanted someone real who had the ability to make our photos express true examples of what our memories looked like: all the good, the nervous, the absurd, and the funny little moments that felt lost when I was viewing other photographers' portfolios. Kelly brings such a true freshness that we hadn't experienced when interviewing other photographers. Her skill is unbeatable, and her personality matches her work: high quality, honest, playful yet serious, and intuitive. After the first call she really understood who we were and what we were looking for, and boy did she deliver. My picky family members and friends were equally obsessed with her work once we saw the engagement shoot. The wedding photos had us all in tears, and I still feel sooo grateful and a sigh of relief that she captured the day so. damn. perfectly. Even with 200 guests outside on a sunny summer afternoon, every angle and shadow looks like it was created for her photo. Every single shot is just a work of art. It was very hard to decide what to frame! She has the best demeanor and clearly knows how to excel in her job. Honestly, I just want to hang out with her sometime! We will definitely be working with her again in the future, and recommend her to all our friends. Go with Kelly - you will NOT regret it!

  If you are looking for a photographer who will deliver personal, storytelling photographs, than we could not recommend Kelly Benvenuto more highly. We were lucky that Kelly was available to work with us on our day because she encapsulated everything we wanted in our wedding photographer. Throughout the planning process, we felt that Kelly truly got to know us and what our wedding would be about. She checked in numerous times and made sure we were feeling prepared so that we could relax the day of the wedding.
  
  When the day finally came, we hardly noticed Kelly was there - she felt more like our guest - but she captured so many stunning images. However, when it was time for formal photos before and after and the ceremony, Kelly was so effective at rounding everyone up and getting them in place. Our family and friends were so impressed.
  
  Kelly delivered our final gallery so quickly - less than a month after our wedding! We were amazed, given that the final album contained almost 600 images. We wanted to put together a a physical album right away and Kelly accommodated our request immediately, even though her wedding season wasn't over.   We had a great time working with Kelly for our wedding. She and a partner handled the photography for our 160 person wedding, and we took advantage of a complementary practice session beforehand which also yielded some great pictures.
  
  We chose Kelly early in the planning process and checked in a couple times over the next year or so. During that time Kelly was very helpful, informative, and professional in our dealings with her. She made it clear that we could reach out if she could help with anything.
  
  What really drew us to Kelly was her style and quality of her pictures, and we couldn't be happier with all that she captured from our wedding day. Over the next month while she curated all of those pictures, she sent us some samples as well as a thoughtful slideshow and we couldn't wait to get the full album. She came in ahead of schedule and there wasn't a single throwaway picture in the 600 or so she provided. They were all great!
  
  Kelly also was a quiet and calm presence, which means a lot in the craziness of the wedding day. One thing that we really appreciated in the days following our wedding was when we realized "aside from the portraits, did we even notice Kelly or her partner all night?" The answer is no. Despite getting so many amazing shots, they were basically invisible! This includes during the extra hour we booked to capture some of the end-of-night dancing. It really felt great to be totally undistracted for the entirety of our wedding day and to still get such amazing pictures from Kelly. We'd highly recommend her!
