I was introduced to Katie B. Cosmetics through my sister, Charlene about 5 years ago when she had bridal makeup and hair done. After witnessing Katie's work on my sister, I fell in love with her work and my sister looked so beautiful. Since then, I knew I wanted Katie B. to do my bridal makeup as well (one day). Throughout the years, I have been using her cosmetic products and I love them.

Let me tell you something. I've had modeling experiences and worked with various makeup artists for my photo shoots or fashion shows. There's no true makeup artist like Katie B.! She is absolutely a true artist and a professional. She is one of the very rare makeup artists. She makes all of her clients absolutely beautiful, no matter what. Look at her previous work on brides, models, etc before and after... they are exactly how they look in person from the photos. No cheating with touch up, photo editing, etc.

What I liked about her was that she asked what I wanted for my overall look and let me decide and then did it her way. She wanted to make sure both of us are absolutely satisfied. She arrived on time for my special day. She did my hair and makeup within 2 hours, but it felt like less than an hour because I was having so much fun and was very relaxed. I got an idea that I wanted to have a little braid. I trusted her opinion. When I got a chance to look at my curly hair and I was completely blown away. I was in awe because I've had never curly hair that gorgeous. Thanks to her and her wonderful assistant (and husband), Shaun. They were such pleasant people to work with.

I was this close to not booking her because her pricing was over my budget, but I'm glad I ended up booking her because I'm only going to have one wedding and wanted the best! People may complain that Katie B. is expensive but you get what you pay for. Not only that... it's not the cost, but it is definitely about the quality of the work. I highly recommend you to book her for your bridal makeup or any kind

Where do I even begin – even though we’ve only met in person twice, Katie has a way of making people feel so special and close to her instantaneously. She listened to my every request and responded with care and detail to all of my e-mails and texts and even went way above and beyond with all her advice and compliments. Every girl deserves to feel like the most beautiful girl in the world on her wedding day and that’s exactly how I felt thanks to Katie! I truly felt like she was my fairy god sister, transforming me into Cinderella for the my ball! I hired a make-up artist and unexpectedly gained a friend with whom I plan to stay in close touch! I've been calling her Chi, sister in Vietnamese, because that's just what she is! <3

Shaun, her husband, is just wonderful, too. They both came down to San Diego bright and early to make sure that I was picture perfect for my special day. Shaun also has a photographer's eye and keen attention to detail and quietly make sures that your every angle is the perfect angle for the camera. What an amazing team they are!!!

WOW! What can I say about Katie's work? AMAZING!!!! Katie did such an AMAZING JOB and she really transforms you beautifully! The beautiful makeup just compliments your looks! I received nonstop compliments on my makeup at my sister's wedding! Not to mention how BEAUTIFUL my sister's make up looked as well, THANKS TO KATIE!!!! ;) I cannot say enough on how great Katie is as a professional make up artist! She is such an easy going person to work with you. She wants you to be comfortable and completely happy with the results. I would highly reccommend her for any and all of your special events or even just assisting you with the "how to wear make up" or reccomendation on make up!

I'm a very simple chick who don't wear much makeup to begin with or even shop for makeup. Not to mention I am a mother of a two year old and I'm such a busy woman that I sometimes don't even care for makeup. BUT....after Katie did my makeup for my sister's wedding, i WANT to start wearing more makeup and I fell in love with her makeup line! Her makeup feels grrrrreeeaeat!!!!
