Katy was a lifesaver!!! My original venue double booked my wedding and didn't inform me until two months prior to my wedding. Katy was able to help me find a new GORGEOUS wedding venue as well as an amazing caterer and rental company.

She was always a text or phonecall away and I consistently felt heard and represented. Her attention to detail was AMAZING and my wedding went so smoothly. (Apparently there were a few day-of issues, but Katy handled them quickly and I didn't find out until later!) My best advice for planning a wedding is HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER! My second piece of advice is to hire Kathryn Rose Event Co!!

In short: we HIGHLY recommend Kathryn Rose Event Company. We had 3 of our vendors reach out to us and say that she was the best they’ve ever worked with in regard to her communication and detail!!

From the very start, Katie was easy to communicate with and extremely thoughtful in her plans. Her website was incredible - it had so many great resources for us to organize our planning and keep track of our budget.

Because our venue did not supply many services, we had 8+ vendors we had to work with. Katie flawlessly executed a very detailed weekend schedule and communicated with the vendors the month of - this was a huge weight off of our shoulders!! On our wedding day, we were able to spend time with our families and get glammed, and did not have to worry about the vendors at all!

One of our favorite things she did for us during our wedding was to hand us our specialty cocktails right after family photos/before our couple portraits. It just showed that she was attentive to the little details that matter!!

Again, we recommend you hire her!!!

Hiring Katy as our month-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made. Even with prior event experience, I underestimated how much support I’d need in the final month. By then, I was completely decision-fatigued, and having Katy to lean on was invaluable. I genuinely do not think we would have been able to pull off all the elements of our wedding without her!

She was always just a call or text away, incredibly organized, and had a spreadsheet or reference doc for everything. It was such a relief to have a calm, neutral expert to run decisions by, troubleshoot last-minute issues, or just vent to.

On the wedding day, Katy handled setup, timelines, and vendor coordination seamlessly—without ever involving me in any hiccups. I felt truly calm and present the entire day, knowing everything was in her capable hands (and this comes from a bride who overthinks/stresses over everything). Not having to field vendor calls or manage logistics made all the difference and my wedding day even more magical.

If you’re on the fence about a month-of coordinator, book Katy. Highly recommend!

We are so thrilled that we hired Katy to coordinate our wedding. Because of Katy, we could fully be in the moment on the wedding day, confident that everything was being taken care of. She was wonderful to work with in advance– her advice, reassurance, planning documents, and planning timeline helped us make so many decisions and kept us on track. It was a goal of mine to keep the planning process as fun/pleasant as possible, and I really don’t think that would have been possible without Katy’s support. The day of, Katy set up all the decor better than I imagined it. Everything went smoothly (or at least, if anything went wrong I never became aware of it), and Katy made sure we stuck to the timeline while being friendly and gracious. Katy is also a joy of a human and we enjoyed spending planning time with her. Finally, as someone who is perhaps overly anxious about asking people to do things for me, I appreciated that Katy was extremely clear about what to expect from her and the process of working together. We could not recommend Katy more!

One of the first decisions, my husband and I made was to pick our wedding planner. We immediately stumbled on to Katy. We loved her style and that she was also a fellow nerd. Planning a wedding in North Carolina from Florida is difficult, but Katy made it so easy. We had meetings over Zoom and we were able to knock out a lot together. One of my favorite parts was that, a few weeks before the wedding, Katy took over contact for all the vendors. I was not approached once by any of my vendors leading up to the wedding. Even the day of, I had no phone calls or text from anyone. She was the absolute best. I would relive my day over and over again thanks to Katy.

We genuinely could not have pulled off our wedding without having Katy as our planner and couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! Our non-traditional mountain summer camp venue location came with its fair share of challenges but thanks to Katy we were able to pull it all off and then some. She was a huge asset from start to finish, especially when it came to vendor recommendations and coordination, and keeping track of all the details. From start to finish, Katy was organized, detail-oriented, and brought a level of creativity that truly made our day as special as it was. Throughout every aspect of working with her she was thoughtfully prepared and made sure nothing was overlooked, which was just so valuable throughout the wedding planning process. What we appreciated most was how easy and enjoyable she made the process - she was not only professional but also friendly and approachable. Katy really listened to our ideas and brought them to life even better than we could have imagined. Our wedding was a dream thanks to Katy’s incredible talent and dedication, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly!

I can't say enough good things about Katy and her team. First, she is a great listener. From the beginning on the process, Katy provides SO many helpful tools to keep you on track and not get overwhelmed. She gives you the space to make decisions, while providing a quiet confidence that is so very reassuring. I spoke with a handful of planners prior to her and from the first conversation I knew she was what we were looking for. Her support, compassion, and craft to the trade are unmatched- all things we will be thankful for, for years to come as we look back on this time.

Very professional and has excellent organizational skills. She has homework for her brides to keep them on track for each month leading up to their wedding and a call for each. You can call her anytime and she'll listen to your concerns and have ideas to fix or just make you feel calm in the midst of a panic. You'll find yourself wanting to just hang with her and call her friend...I did!
