Incredible music and person

Katherine was a joy to work with. Incredibly good hearted and is a seasoned harpist. Months before our special day, she provided amazing reference material for us to listen to and had a FaceTime call with us in order to determine the mood we wanted the music to convey to our guests.

Katherine even wrote original arrangements to the songs we requested her to play which were, “Pure Imagination” & “Sprout and the Bean”. My partner and I were so happy to have Katherine play our ceremony and cocktail hour. We wish we could get married a second time just to experience her beautiful playing again! Highly recommended.

Having Katherine play at our wedding and cocktail hour was a great experience. She worked with us to pick out the music- classical for the ceremony and a mix of classical and pop for the cocktail hour. On the day of she was prompt, warm and a total pro, which was such a relief on what was otherwise a bit of a hectic day. After hearing her play, my sister booked Katherine for her wedding next year!

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour would not have been complete without the beautiful addition of Katie's harp performances. Throughout the planning process, Katie was an excellent communicator and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was personalized to our preferences, including creating arrangements of our favorite songs and providing additional music recommendations when we requested them. Katie is a symphony-level professional musician - the quality of her playing is clearly matched by few; we were so happy to discover Katie and include her harp playing in our special day!

I hired Katie Ventura for my wedding in Pittsburgh. My husband and I felt so lucky to have her for our special day. She was not only a sweet person, but also very musical and professional. I asked her to pick my walk down the aisle music as a surprise. Katie and a cello player arranged one of my favorite symphony music for the cello/harp duet. I felt so blessed walking down the aisle with such a beautiful music. Lots of people asked me about the song after the ceremony. I highly recommend her for anybody wants their wedding to be little more beautiful and special:)

I'll admit that I was on the fence about having a harpist for my wedding, because our budget was pretty limited. But it was SO worth it hiring Katherine play our cocktail hour! If you're looking for a way to make your wedding feel really classy without spending a lot of money, look into hiring her. She was so nice to work with, and she made the whole process very easy.

Katherine played at our cocktail hour and I can’t recommend her enough. In fact, I’m annoyed to say that hiring a harpist was my husband’s idea because it was so great and perfect, I wish I had thought of it myself! Working with Katherine was one of the easiest bits of planning, to be honest. She is extremely communicative, efficient, a flat out lovely human being, and talented as all get out. I can’t believe we lucked into finding her! She was extremely patient with us, which was much appreciated. She made an incredible day with our family and friends even more special.

Katherine Ventura was not only a total pleasure to work with, but she really added the perfect unique touch to our casual yet elegant event.

Ms. Ventura totally worked with us and our limited knowledge of classical music and guided us through selections. She is professional, knowledgeable, talented, and extremely responsive. Our guests raved about her performance and one of my engaged friends asked for her contact info. I think I may have started a trend in my circle...
