From a low-key set to welcome your guests to the room while your bridal party is getting ready for their grand entrance, to high-energy performance during your dance sets, I adapt to the audience's energy and keep it fun. I make a point of playing to every person who comes out to the dancefloor, I get silly with them, I jump around with them, and I play their favorite songs right along with the DJ so they can feel free to sing along as loud as they want.

In addition to the performance aspect of the reception, I am a trained musician who has studied with many of the best players and teachers in the world, made my living exclusively as a musician for over 15 years, and can bring great vibes to your ceremony and/or cocktail hour. Whether you want traditional classical themes for your ceremony, classic jazz for your cocktails, or instrumental versions of pop songs from various eras, I can bring backing tracks or other accomplished live musicians to handle your background music needs.

Why hire a musician directly? When you book a musician through a big agency, they have a huge roster of people to pull from, and they will do their best to send someone great to your event. That's rarely a person you've spoken to, and for logistical reasons they may not even be the person you wanted. Many of their people will be excellent! But in the busiest seasons, they have to send anyone they can. When you book me directly, we will do your preference of consultation over phone, email, video chat or even in person if possible. We will get to know each other and if our personalities mesh and you decide to hire me, I will be the person at your wedding. No other event is as important to me on that day, and I'll be there to deliver my absolute best effort and quality to make sure your day is unforgettable.
